Radu Huciu Episode 1
Show notes
His journey as a writer began in childhood, but at around 21, he decided to pursue his dream professionally. Originally writing in Romanian, his mother tongue, he eventually turned to the English-speaking world after facing early disappointments. Over the years, he developed his craft through screenwriting competitions and short-film projects, reaching the semi-finals of the Page Awards, a milestone that gave him the confidence to share his work more widely.
His writing explores complex characters, family relationships and the experiences that shape our lives. He is currently developing two projects: an untitled book about a young girl and her robot companion navigating a world without humans, and a screenplay inspired by a distinctive father figure and his influence on his son. After years of balancing work with his writing ambitions, his time in London taught him the importance of family and making the most of life. He eventually returned home to dedicate himself to his wife and five children. His personal experiences, including overcoming bullying and professional setbacks, have helped shape his resilience and continue to influence the stories he tells.

Will Triplett & Jack Mulcahy episode 1
Show notes
From Acting to Filmmaking: The Stories Behind Will Triplett & Jack Mulcahy
Behind every film is a story, and sometimes the most fascinating stories belong to the people creating them. In this feature, we shine a light on Will Triplett and Jack Mulcahy, two accomplished creatives whose careers have taken them from acting and music into producing, directing, writing and filmmaking. Will Triplett’s journey began with a professional acting career in New York City that spanned more than a decade.
After booking a lead role in a national television series shortly after college, Will went on to build an impressive career that included national television appearances, Off-Broadway work at The Public Theater and starring roles in independent films. Along the way, however, he discovered that his real passion lay behind the camera — creating worlds, developing characters and telling stories that explore subjects he genuinely cares about.
That transition led Will into screenwriting and filmmaking, with UNFINISHED, his fifth fully scripted feature, now heading towards a planned 2027 release. He is also working on his sixth feature script, BRACKISH, with principal photography targeted for the end of 2027.
His producing and archival work has also taken him into major productions, including Apple TV's Omnivore, HBO's Dreambreak: Pickleball Story, Jay-Z's 4:44 music video and the Super Bowl commercial The Hard Way for Red Lobster. Alongside Will is Jack Mulcahy, a multi-award-winning actor and producer whose career spans more than five decades and more than 130 film and television credits. A lifelong New Yorker, Jack's artistic journey began with music before moving into acting, with one of his earliest film appearances coming in Porky's, which became a major box-office success.
Jack would go on to star in the Sundance-winning independent classic The Brothers McMullen, while continuing to build an extensive career across film and television. His story is also one of resilience. Having been orphaned at 18, Jack faced significant challenges early in life, but continued to build a career in the arts and has now celebrated 23 years of sobriety.
Today, Will and Jack are continuing that creative journey together. Jack recently produced Paul & Greg & Amelia, currently making its way through the festival circuit, while also producing and starring alongside Will in UNFINISHED. What connects both of their stories is a belief in the importance of collaboration, creativity and culture. As Will puts it, “It’s amazing what can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit.” For him, filmmaking begins with building a strong culture and allowing everything else to follow. From actors to writers, producers and filmmakers, their journeys demonstrate how careers can evolve when experience, passion and a willingness to tell meaningful stories come together. The Right Buzz explores the people behind the projects — the experiences, challenges, choices and passion that helped shape the careers we see today.

Patrick Pellett Episode 3
Show notes
More than forty-two years ago, addiction collapsed my early life. Before recovery, I served three years in the United States Marine Corps. After my service, I spent significant time in boxing gyms. These spaces shaped me in important ways, teaching discipline, humility, respect, and the importance of mentorship. They later became places where I learned about structure, belonging, and guidance. In my early twenties, that collapse unfolded through addiction, trauma, and exposure to violence, narrowing my world and my sense of possibility. The consequences were tangible and cumulative. Employment disappeared, relationships fractured, and the future narrowed. The night my daughter was born, I was arrested and spent the night in a holding cell, missing her arrival into the world. That moment became a turning point. I did not get sober that night. I got sober seven months later. But something cracked open then and set the direction of my life.

Theodora Oniceanu
Show notes
From a young age, Theodora found herself captivated by the power of stories. As a child, she would invent bedtime tales for her sister, weaving imaginative narratives that not only entertained but also soothed her fears. Those early sparks of creativity ignited a lifelong passion for storytelling that would later define her career.
Her journey into the arts was anything but conventional. While her family encouraged her toward mathematical studies, Theodora’s heart belonged to language and imagination. She enrolled in the French-English intensive programme at Colegiul National Alexandru Papiu Ilarian in Târgu Mureș, later continuing her studies in the English-French programme at Petru Maior University.
It was during this time that she discovered her fascination with graphic design while working for a job platform, where she developed skills in advertising, HTML, and business communication. This blend of creativity and professionalism would become the foundation of her unique multidisciplinary approach.
