    🎙️ EPISODE 66 — DAVID DIEHL

The Giants are 4–2–1 and in FIRST PLACE in the NFC East! 🔵⚪️

A wild 27–21 OT win over Houston featuring JJ McCarthy continuing to grow, Malik Nabers doing Malik Nabers things, Skattebo running angry, a defense that answered the bell, and Singletary delivering the walk-off against his former team.

And yes… we need to talk about Zvada. 😤

After 14 years, the Giants are heading into November with a winning record and sitting on top of the division.

    This feels different.

  2. Episode 65 (Bart Oates) - JJ McCarthy QB 1, Najee Harris cut, onto Houston!

    Show notes

    The Shock Treatment — Episode 65: J.J. McCarthy: QB1

John Harbaugh has made the call.

J.J. McCarthy is officially QB1 for the Giants heading into Houston — and now it’s time to see what the kid can do.

In Episode 65, we break down the quarterback change, why I’m not buying the lazy “J.J. sucks” or “Jameis sucks” arguments, and why 10 NFL starts is nowhere near enough to decide what McCarthy ultimately becomes.

Adam Thielen’s endorsement of McCarthy’s deep ball gets us talking about what the young quarterback does well, what he still needs to develop, and one very simple message:

PUT THE BALL IN MALIK NABERS’ HANDS.

    We also get into:

    • Najee Harris and Jihad Ward being released • Harbaugh’s “iron fist” and the TAKE THE JOB mentality • Whether the Giants could be looking to add another running back • Who the hell is Jason Brownlee? • Malik Nabers absolutely cooking over the last three games • Jameis Winston remaining in the building and why we haven’t necessarily seen the last of him • Jaxson Dart’s role in the quarterback room • The full-circle storyline of McCarthy returning to Houston, where he won a national championship with Michigan • Malik Nabers vs. Marvin Harrison Jr. • Breaking down the Texans defense and whether their “great defense” is actually something to fear • The Giants sitting at 3-2-1 and somehow alone atop the NFC East

    We’re not crowning J.J.

    We’re not burying J.J.

    We’re letting him play.

    Because in the Harbaugh era:

YOU WANT THE JOB? TAKE THE JOB.

  3. Episode 64 (Jim Burt) - Too Little, Too Late, Giants rally late but fall to the Saints

    Show notes

Episode 64: Jim Burt #64 — TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE

The New York Giants fall to the New Orleans Saints, 34–27, after digging themselves into a massive 34–10 hole before nearly pulling off an unbelievable comeback!

We’re breaking down the defensive collapse, the offensive struggles, and JJ McCarthy’s late-game push that brought Big Blue within striking distance. The comeback fell short on a fourth-down incompletion to Isaiah Likely, but did JJ show enough to change the quarterback conversation?

Plus, we discuss Jameis Winston’s future, the overblown narrative surrounding Cam Skattebo’s benching, John Harbaugh’s fiery exchanges with the media, and the emotional reaction from JJ’s teammates after the loss.

The Giants showed fight, but is that enough? Is this Jameis’ final chance to keep the starting job, or could JJ take over after the bye?

Too little, too late — or a glimpse of what’s possible?

Welcome to The Shock Treatment. Big Blue talk from two die-hard Giants fans. 🏈💙❤️

    Show notes

    🔥 EPISODE 63 — JIM CORDLE #63

We’re talking Giants vs. Saints ahead of Sunday’s matchup at MetLife — and why I’m feeling VERY confident about Big Blue coming out on top.

I also take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about my first-ever Giants game in person back in 2005… Giants vs. Saints. That experience helped create the football fanatic I am today, and it felt only right to bring that story into this episode.

Plus, the Jalen Hurts blood clot news throws a CRAZY monkey wrench into the NFC East. Hurts is officially out for Sunday against Carolina, and the Eagles are now dealing with an uncertain timeline at the most important position on the field. (Philadelphia Eagles)

The Giants are sitting at 3-1-1, the Saints are 1-4, and I’m ready to see Big Blue take care of business.

    LET THEM SLEEP.

  5. Episode 62 (Glenn Parker) - 3rd and Likely

    Show notes

    ⚡ EPISODE 62: GLENN PARKER — 3RD AND LIKELY! ⚡

The Giants and Washington finish in a wild 27–27 tie, and MtD is breaking it ALL down! Jameis Winston leads a furious comeback, Isaiah Likely explodes for two touchdowns, and Malik Nabers delivers when it matters most. But overtime heartbreak, missed opportunities, and a devastating Cam Skattebo fumble leave Big Blue searching for that finishing touch.

Plus, we discuss Jameis and Darnell Mooney’s viral sideline exchange, Dru Phillips and Arvell Reese making noise on defense, Marcus Mbow stepping up, and the Giants’ reported workout with pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue.

The Giants showed fight, but was this a point gained or a win thrown away? We’re 3–1–1 and still on top of the NFC East. Next stop: New Orleans!

    But we didn’t.

We break down Jameis Winston’s first win, Skattebo, Zvada, Holland, Arvell Reese, the defense, and the Brian Burns injury.

In this emergency episode, we talk about the latest developments, what this could mean for Dart and the Giants, Jameis Winston potentially taking over at quarterback, and the brutal reality of how quickly the outlook for this 2026 season can change.

THE SHOCK TREATMENT — EPISODE 57

CHASE BLACKBURN — “PLEASE BE OK, JAXSON”

Well, Giants fans… that fucking sucked.

The Giants get blown out by the Rams 28-6 on Monday Night Football, but the final score almost feels secondary after Jaxson Dart left the game with a knee injury on the opening drive.

In Episode 57, we break down the ugly loss, the latest on Dart as we await his MRI, Jameis Winston being thrown into the game unexpectedly, and the brutal team statistics that tell the story of just how badly the Giants were outplayed.

We talk 481 yards allowed, 182 yards gained, a 3.3 yards-per-play average, the Rams’ dominant rushing attack, Davante Adams’ monster night, Aaron Donald’s return, and a running game that couldn’t get going.

    But it’s not all negative.

We give flowers to Jevon Holland for his two interceptions and forced fumble, Abdul Carter for his first NFL sack, and talk about how this Giants team responds when adversity finally hits.

We also pay our respects to Ernie Accorsi, reflect on what this franchise has meant across generations, and look ahead to the Titans coming to MetLife.

    The Giants are 1-1.

    The loss was ugly.

    The injuries are concerning.

    But the season isn’t over.

Now we find out what this team is made of.

Most importantly: PLEASE BE OKAY, JAXSON.
