Woman Vanishes After Riding This Swedish Ghost Train
Show notes
Underneath the clean and orderly exterior of Stockholm, Sweden, lies a dark legend. It’s said that on the Stockholm metro there is one carriage totally unlike the others. Silver and mysterious, it appears at platforms during the witching hour when all transport should have ceased for the night. It’s said that any passengers foolish enough to board are never seen again. But where did the Silverpilen, or Silver Arrow as it’s known, come from? And where exactly is this ghost train taking people? It turns out there’s even more to the story than at first glance, as survivors of the train describe it taking them to a mysterious station that isn’t on the train map…

The Last Witch Trial in Ireland
Show notes

When the town hunted for an explanation… they ended up finding EIGHT. Today’s case is often referred to as Ireland's Salem, and is believed to be the island’s last ever witch trial.

They Found a Creature Living in LA’s Sewers
Show notes
Under normal circumstances America’s sewers should only be home to a maximum of two things; rats and, at a push, Ninja Turtles. But in 1982 in Buena Park California, a suburb of LA, a gang of teens had a terrifying encounter with something that witnesses would describe as sounding like Godzilla crossed with a gorilla. While some wrote it off as a hoax, before long dozens of townspeople reported seeing and hearing the exact same thing. But what was living underneath their city? Was it really paranormal or some kind of mass hysteria? Time for Kit and Rory to investigate.

The Ghost Rockets of 1946
Show notes
In the summer of 1946, people across Sweden began witnessing strange fiery objects fall from the sky and crash to earth. When locals gathered at the sites of impact, they discovered that in the middle of each smouldering crater was… nothing. No debris. No wreckage. It was as if nothing had crashed at all. Before long newspapers across the country were writing articles about the phenomenon known as “The Ghost Rockets”.

When UFOs Invaded New York - Hudson Valley UFO Incident
Show notes
UFOs descending on Manhattan island seems hard to believe but that may be what the aliens had planned when in the 1980s there were hundreds of UFO sightings in New York State, centering on areas like Hudson Valley only a few miles upstate. Many of these sightings came together to comprise one of the most astonishing and well-reported UFO phenomena in US history. But is there enough evidence to convince the skeptics that humanity was really visited by outsiders? Kit Grier Mulvenna and Rory Powers are on the case.

The fishermen had no idea what they had captured, but they knew there was only one way to find out - they had to take it to the dungeons and torture it.

The Haunted Austrian Castle Where They Hunted Werewolves
Show notes
When we think of ‘witch trials’ we often think of Salem and the East Coast of the USA, a dark and morbid chapter of paranormal history. But in Europe the exact same thing was taking place, only it wasn’t just witches… Werewolf trials happened all across Europe, but as the years went by and they slowly stopped, there was one corner of Austria in which they kept going for hundreds of years. In Moosham Castle hundreds of people met their end, executed for the crimes of witchcraft and lycanthropy. That may be why people claim the castle is haunted to this very day. Time for Rory Powers and Kit Grier Mulvenna to investigate!

Kelpies are an extremely ancient cryptid, a shape-shifting horse that drags its victims into the water to their death. Though some write the Kelpie off as a myth, there are modern stories that raise questions… it turns out the story of the Kelpie may be hiding a darker story about life in Scotland hundred of years ago… and we’re not talking about a time before Greggs bakery. Time for paranormal investigators Kit Grier Mulvenna and Rory Powers to find out more.

The UFO So Big it Turned the Sky Red - The Exeter Incident
Show notes
The incident at Exeter, also known as the Exeter UFO, is maybe America’s most credible UFO case — yeah we’ll say it! What started as a long day in the life of Norman Muscarello turned into the longest night of his life when he saw lights setting the sky ablaze in the New Hampshire sky one night in 1965. Thankfully he immediately turned to local law enforcement, starting a paper trail that would go all the way to the highest echelons of governmental investigation, and make the unbelievable, well, believable!
