Timmy and the Jet, and the Bet, and the Wet… Halloween Weekend
Show notes
Hour 1 (11.02) Happy belated Halloween with Timmy and Mark! Mark barely got any trick-or-treaters at his mansion, but Tim had hundreds show up in Burbank — thousands of kids out on Saturday and he didn’t run over a single one. His snagged a 10-pound Walmart turkey and his wife made the best gravy known to man. Single ladies, Tim’s advice is simple: Don’t brag that you can’t cook or the guys will sprint the other way.
Daylight saving ended and it’s darker earlier — the lads like it. Tim’s a night owl and digs the night-owl crowd. No “Conway Show” on election night, but he’s been invited to parties for Karen Bass and AG candidate Michael Gates. Both were recent guests, so that doesn’t bode well given Tim’s track record. \
Tim and Mark are talking the horrific Learjet crash in West Palm Beach: The plane was doing about 1,200 miles an hour when it exploded into a mobile home park, killing everyone onboard including seven passengers and two crew. It was headed for the Bahamas, piloted by a 20-year-old woman with a co-pilot who had tens of thousands of hours.
Tim’s annual Morongo birthday party is Saturday, November 14 upstairs in the Drum Room — a month after his real birthday. You’re all invited; he’ll be re-gifting stuff including a flatscreen. DM him on Instagram @conwayshow for an invite.

A Gas Station Called Skinny’s Was Timmy’s First Problem on His Oregon Odyssey
Show notes
Hour 2 (11.02) Burbank Halloween was cold, rainy, and foggy — Tim loved it. Mosquitoes are still out, so a Chinese startup built an AI laser that zaps their wings so they crash and die. Mark’s the hilltop Halloween grinch with no candy and no decorations; Tim puts his up then yanks the skeletons and pumpkins down by noon
Tim’s daughter still hasn’t touched her ballot, so he threatened to fill it out and send it himself — Mark confirmed that’s illegal. Mark the Democrat is fine with California’s slow vote count.
Lions linebacker Jack Campbell is still in the hospital after a brutal neck injury that left him facedown and motionless.
McDonald’s is doing a pop-up fine-dining thing with its own menu. A new study links energy drinks to cardiac arrest 11 times more often in young people; Tim remembers one that had him staring at the ceiling for two days after a long drive.
Martha Stewart apologized twice for her deleted homeless-person Halloween costume. Crew guesses on her net worth; Mark got closest at about $400 million. She said it was to highlight homelessness. Right.
And insurers love the new Ting sensor, a plug-in that flags flood and fire risks at home.

There’s Acrimony in the ESPN Booth — But Never in the KFI Booth with Tim and Mark
Show notes
Hour 3 (11.02) Christmas is coming and The Grove is already getting festive. The live 100-foot Christmas tree goes up November 16 for the 25th anniversary of the tradition, followed by a month of faux snow. The lads are also looking at the LA and California candidates on the eve of Election Day.
El Niño is on the way — a new UC Davis study flags San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Moss Landing, and Humboldt Bay as some of the West Coast spots most vulnerable to damage and infrastructure problems.
There’s tension in the ESPN booth between Troy Aikman and Joe Buck; industry guy Mark has the story. Gov. Newsom wants to make California more competitive for film and TV and is pushing to expand the Hollywood tax credit to $1 billion through 2040. If it passes, productions and jobs should return, though filming in LA is still struggling.
Augustine Wine Bar in Sherman Oaks is closing after 12 years because the economy is too tough. People whose homes were damaged in the Norte Fire in San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano are now fighting their insurance companies. A lot of them say they would have been better off if the houses had just burned down.

The Sensor Ship Has Come in For Savvy Insurers Who Are Minority Reporting Fires ’n’ Floods
Show notes
Hour 4 (11.02) Timmy’s convinced any candidate he has on the show or endorses is doomed. Both he and Mark are fine paying for good public servants — cops, teachers, bomb squad.
They’re still stunned by the Learjet that broke up over West Palm Beach and slammed into a mobile home park. It happened so fast there was almost no room to recover; Mark notes how unforgiving private jets are when anything goes wrong, and Tim calls it a brutal reminder that even fancy planes can come down hard.
Burbank Halloween was cold, rainy, and foggy — basically Pacific Northwest cosplay and Tim loved it. Mosquitoes are still around, so a Chinese startup built an AI laser that shoots their wings off so they drop and die. Mark remains the hilltop grinch with no decorations or candy; Tim puts his up then clears the skeletons and pumpkins by noon. One guy dressed as Michael Myers was staring down kids until the cops had a word.
Martha Stewart is doing damage control after her deleted homeless-person Halloween costume — she’s already apologized twice. Crew guesses on her net worth; Mark got closest at about $400 million. She said it was to highlight homelessness. Right.
Insurers love the new Ting sensor, a plug-in that flags flood and fire risks before they become claims.

Joe Buck Got $108M. Troy Aikman Got No Offer
Show notes
Hour 1 (10.30) Joe Buck signed a reported $108 million. Troy Aikman has no offer, and it blew up in the booth at SoFi. Plus, Selma Blair’s first apology since her Delta arrest.
6:05 It’s Halloween weekend. The West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval takes over Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny to La Cienega, free, 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, and The Abbey is throwing its own party. Over in Burbank, whole neighborhoods turn their homes into full haunted houses.
6:20 Will the rain wash out trick-or-treating in Riverside? More people seem to be decorating Halloween than ever. And what did you dress up as when you were a kid?
6:35 Kids are more than twice as likely to be hit and killed by a car on Halloween as on any other day, and kids ages 4 to 8 face the biggest jump in risk. Then Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, partners for 25 years, reportedly argued about their ESPN contracts before Monday Night Football at SoFi.
6:50 Jarret Stoll may be the luckiest man in hockey: two Stanley Cups with the Kings, a job on LA Kings Live, and a marriage to Erin Andrews. Plus, Selma Blair speaks on video for the first time since her arrest on a flight from LA to New York: “I take this very seriously.”

8:05 The LAX Automated People Mover, a $3.3 billion project, slips again. Now the target is February 2027. How Did Houdini Die? The Punch, the Appendix
Show notes
Hour 2 (10.29) What really killed Houdini? A hundred years later, auctioneer Gabe Fajuri weighs the famous punch, the ruptured appendix and a surgeon’s cover-up theory, ahead of his centennial auction at the Magic Castle.
7:05 Gabe Fajuri, president of Potter & Potter Auctions, on “Houdini Returns: The Centennial Auction.” It’s 100 rare items from Kevin Connolly’s collection, many of them owned by Houdini himself, and they go up for sale at the Magic Castle in Hollywood on Oct. 31, the 100th anniversary of his death.
7:20 Was it the punch to the stomach? A ruptured appendix? Fajuri on how Houdini really died, and on a new book by a surgeon, Houdini: The Man Who Died Twice, that argues the official story is wrong.
7:35 Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock, Glee) started the “One Job Away” campaign on Instagram to spotlight actors who are close to losing their SAG-AFTRA health insurance. Designer Dog to Go with Your Designer Dolce?
Show notes
Hour 1 (10.28) 6:05: Tonight on “The Conway Show,” Timmy kicks it all off by talking about the lawsuit accusing a popular Los Angeles animal rescue of “puppy laundering.” It’s called Wagmor Pets and it’s in the San Fernando Valley. Celebrity-favored Wagmor owner denies laundering these puppies. The City of Los Angeles has filed a lawsuit against the animal rescue organization and its owner Melissa Bacelar. That’s ruff, man.
6:20: To more on the puppy laundering insanity in Studio City, the woman, Bacelar, allegedly bought dogs from puppy mills and pawned them off as rescue pups to wealthy women looking for a canine companion. The dead giveaway? They were designer pooches, with not a pit bull or mutt in sight. Were these women in denial? Some of them were forking out well over $1,000 for these so-called rescues.
6:35: While Southern California continues to experience coastal flooding, inland LA is not quite free from flooding either. There’s a sinkhole impacting traffic in Hollywood due to yet another watermain break. And it’s right on Sunset Boulevard, on the corner where the Chick-Fil-A is. Those party girls must be soggy! When the Big One hits, this city is gonna be a lake.
6:50: As the holidays approach, you think you’re set for a sweet deal on airfare? Bad news. If flying a discount airline like Frontier, it’ll cost you a heck of a lot more, with fares jumping a whopping 71% due to rising fuel costs. At least you’ll still get the midair flight fights between the other cheapo travelers. It now costs close to $150 per pet to fly the dog-friendly airline. After a nightmare experience traveling with his dog Ernie and a serious case of green apple splatters, Tim vowed never to fly with another dog. Speaking of Ernies, Ernie Johnson is retiring from “Inside the NBA.”

Midnight Madness with Lusty Ladies Who Love a Passionate Page Turner
Show notes
Hour 2 (10.28) 7:05 — Timmy wasn’t into politics when he was growing up, and even now he’s not so into it and doesn’t think it enriches your life. He thinks it makes people judgy and angry. However, there is a very important race for mayor of LA between Mayor Karen Bass and Nitha Raman. Presently it’s a tie of 40% each among unlikely voters, with around 19% undecided. Raman has lost 11 percentage points since September, which isn’t good news for the DSA candidate. Although, they’re both DSA candidates, which could be bad news for Angelenos. The LAPD is not happy about this — Raman wants the popular LA police Chief Jim McDonnell fired!
7:20 — Remember that new foldable iPhone Duo that people queued for 30 hours on the street to get their dirty mitts on? Those peeps are nuts, right? And now? We’ve got thousands of fans lining up overnight at bookstores globally for the highly anticipated midnight release of “A Court of Splintered Harmony” the latest in the fantasy romance series by Sarah J. Mass. There were more than 700 midnight release parties nationwide. Ladies love that lusty literature! The Planters NUTmobile is hiring three drivers — that’s nutty!
7:35 — West Hollywood moves forward with plans for the city's tallest building, 1000 La Brea Tower. Some people are for it, while others? Not so much. It’s happening on the site of the old Cemex Hollywood Concrete Plant on North La Brea and will have 514 apartments and 34 stories. There’ll be a percentage of affordable housing there, as well as retail and restaurants on the lower levels. More than 80% of WeHo residents are renters, and Timmy is all for this new skyscraper. Meanwhile, in fancy Tarzana, two men have been arrested related to a kidnapping.
7:50 — A knife attack at Wendy’s? Crime can happen anywhere, even in a Northridge fast-food restaurant. A man was caught on camera arguing with employees before approaching a customer who was enjoying his burger with his lady. The customer then pulled a knife in self-defense. Do you want fries with that? Meanwhile, Halloween weather is going to be spooky, with coastal flood warnings and storms set to rain on the literal parade. It’s going to be misty, rainy, and cold — just like we’re in the Midwest. Wonder if they make slutty waterproof capes at Spirit Halloween.

Shine Bright Like a Tiffany’s Diamond — Peeking Out of Your Tuchus
Show notes
Hour 3 (10.28) 8:05: We often hear stories about people, particularly retirees, selling their homes, furniture, vehicles — you name it — to live onboard a cruise ship for years. The residential cruise ship Villa Vie Odyssey suspended its round-the-world four-year voyage and stranded over 200 passengers in Cambodia after soaring fuel costs. The cruise ship is now on temporary layup in port, having set sail from Belfast two years ago. Permanent residences start at $100,000, and go up to more than $400,000, plus monthly fees for life onboard. But it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing and there’s no guarantee the voyage will ever resume.
8:20: Breaking news: The Milwaukee Brewers have just won the World Series! Is it their first championship win? Timmy thinks so! The Los Angeles Summer Olympics 2028 new slogan has been revealed: Stars align. That it? Where’s the rest of it? It reflects the coming together of athletes and fans from all over the world — and some other stuff. Where can you find your best deals for Thanksgiving? At Walmart, you can buy a 10-pound turkey for 84 cents a pound — that’s less than $9. Meanwhile, at Target you can do the entire Thanksgiving spread for six people for just $30. Bundling is the trick. At Walmart, you can feed 10 people for $3.50 a person. You can get a free turkey at ShopRite if you spend a certain amount at the supermarket chain.
8:35: With the MLB now over for the year, sports lovers still have the NFL, NHL and NBA to look forward to. That sentence was a nightmare for dyslexics. The cops pulled over a couple to prank them on their wedding night as they were headed for their honeymoon while they were still in their tux (the groom) and the wedding gown (the bride). A guy decided to swallow $760,000 in diamond earrings rather than give them up after snatching them from Tiffany’s in Orlando. He’s been forced to stay in hospital until he evacuates the baubles.
8:50: High tide has never been higher in parts of SoCal and Orange County thanks to this crazy El Nino weather bringing weird waves and coastal flooding. We’re talking shin deep water in Newport and on the Pacific Coast Highway. The community is rallying and helping each other out with support and sandbags. The flooding is predicted to subside tomorrow and won’t return ’til Thanksgiving. Some restaurants and stores are doing it tough with soggy carpet and waterlogged floorboards.

WeHo Heads for the Skies While a German Shepherd Heads for the Inner Thighs
Show notes
Hour 4 (10.28) 9:05: Timmy’s starting the night with a real dog of a story. The City of LA just sued a Valley animal rescue called Wagmor Pets and its owner Melissa Bacelar, accusing them of “puppy laundering.” The claim is that celebrity-favorite Wagmor was moving pooches through the system in a way that wasn’t quite as pure as the marketing. Bacelar’s denying every bit of it. That’s ruff.
9:20: The Wagmor story gets even shaggier. The lawsuit claims Bacelar was buying dogs straight from puppy mills and then flipping them as feel-good rescues to wealthy women hunting for the perfect companion. The tell? Every single one was a designer purebred — not a pit bull, not a mutt, not a single scruffy face in the bunch. Were these buyers in full denial mode? Some of them happily dropped well over a thousand bucks for the privilege of “rescuing” a Frenchie or a doodle.
9:35: Think you’ve got a cheap holiday flight locked in? Think again. Discount carriers like Frontier are watching fares jump a brutal 71 percent thanks to fuel costs. The silver lining? You still get the classic midair arguments between fellow bargain hunters. Pet fees on the dog-friendly airline are now pushing $150 a head. After one disastrous trip with Ernie that ended in green-apple splatters, Tim swore off flying with dogs forever. Speaking of Ernies, Ernie Johnson is hanging it up at “Inside the NBA.”
9:50: West Hollywood moves forward with plans to construct the city's tallest building, 1000 La Brea Tower. Some locals love it, while others are up in arms? As for Conway? He says bring on the construction! Helicopters hovered over upscale Valley nabe Tarzana yesterday, warning locals to make themselves scarce. Why? They were coming for two men who were nabbed in relation to a kidnapping. It happens to be Timmy’s old stomping ground and brings to his mind the memory of a person who got their wiener and testicles bitten off by a feisty German Shepherd after an attempted home robbery.

Hour 3 (10.27) Record-breaking tides flooded homes in Sunset Beach, and Obama compared Trump’s White House makeover to a Cheesecake Factory opened by Saddam Hussein. Trump did not let it go.
8:05: Why are the tides this high? Blame the moon, plus warm El Niño water expanding the ocean. ABC7’s Chris Cristi flies over the damage in Sunset Beach and Crystal Cove. The San Pedro tide gauge set a new record of 8.02 feet, beating a mark from 2005, and Long Beach’s Peninsula neighborhood is bracing for more.
8:20: Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has helped run the NFL’s live music, including the Super Bowl halftime show, since 2019. Tim tells how he met his wife, and Sheron Bellio’s husband turns out to know his football. Plus: Obama’s Cheesecake Factory jab, and Trump’s reply that Obama “wouldn’t understand.”
8:35: The LA City Council voted 13-1 to put up to 50 enforcement cameras on DASH buses. Fines are $293 for blocking bus lanes and stops, with warnings only for the first 60 days. And Glendale Water & Power wants a nearly 50% rate hike to fix aging pipes, while residents gather protest signatures to block it.
8:50: The Milwaukee Brewers swept the Dodgers out of the NLCS and ended the 3-peat bid. Without a World Series in LA, the bars, restaurants and vendors that count on October baseball lose out.

9:20: Saltwater corrodes your car fast and can short out an EV’s battery pack. Fire officials have warned that flooded EVs can catch fire days or weeks later, so get yours inspected as soon as possible if it went through these high tides. Then Petros Papadakis warns parents about kids’ e-bike batteries blowing up in the garage.
9:35: The FTC and 20 states, California, sued Dollar General in federal court in Tennessee. They say shoppers were charged more at the register than the shelf or ad price from 2019 through March 2026, which drew nearly 30,000 complaints. Also: the eat-before-you-drink rule for skipping the hangover, and the side-of-sour-cream story.
9:50: Newly released video shows a huge arc flash, with fire and smoke on the tracks, during a test of LAX’s SkyLink People Mover train. The project’s cost has grown from $1.9 billion to $3.34 billion. The contractor, LINXS, says the system “responded as designed,” but it has already missed its December deadline.
