Lucifer the Pirate Captain: The Red Corsair
Season 13, Episode 285
Show notes
Lucifer Morningstar becomes the Red Corsair in this supernatural pirate adventure, commanding a demonic warship against the Spanish Navy in the Caribbean in 1673. Welcome aboard the Hell Bitch, Lucifer's terrifying pirate ship, where cannon fire, incompetent demons, supernatural warfare and very questionable nautical skills collide in a gloriously dark comedy.
As the self-proclaimed Red Corsair, Lucifer is having the time of her eternal life. Her demonic crew includes the hopeless Master Bates, the unfortunate Seaman Stains, the spectacularly stupid Gunnar Shite and Trudure, her little black demon cat, who has acquired an eyepatch and a promotion to Admiral. With Spanish warships attacking, Lucifer leads her crew into a spectacularly chaotic naval battle involving cannons, cutlasses, exploding ships and an alarming shortage of competent sailors.
But the battle takes an unexpected turn when Belphastus, the necromancer whose story has unfolded in the medieval forest, suddenly arrives in Hell. Having been killed by his own creation, Mr Tibbles, Belphastus finds himself face to face with Lucifer—and he has interrupted her afternoon.

Werewolf the Podcast: A Shocking Death | Mr Tibbles, Drear & Supernatural Horror (Episode 284)
Season 13, Episode 284
Show notes
A necromancer believes he has created the perfect monster. A gigantic werewolf has come to destroy it. And a woodland spirit is about to pay the ultimate price.
In Episode 284 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, the battle for the medieval forest reaches a shocking conclusion as Mr Tibbles turns against the man who brought him back from the dead.
Separated from William Marshal, Fenrir pursues the necromancer Belphastus through the forest. But Fenrir has a problem: as a non-physical wolf soul, he cannot simply attack the man responsible for the suffering in the village.
Belphastus knows it.
And he finds the situation absolutely hilarious.
Unable to physically harm the necromancer, Fenrir must find another way to stop him. Meanwhile, William Marshal lies badly injured in a village cottage, recovering from his battle with Mr Tibbles. Through the supernatural bond they share, William can see and hear what Fenrir experiences—but his injuries prevent him from coming to his companion's aid.
Then the wounded monster returns.
Belphastus calls his creation to heel, confident that the enormous creature will do his bidding. But Fenrir is no longer the only supernatural being in the clearing. A gigantic grey wolf has followed Mr Tibbles into the forest, and the two creatures prepare for another brutal fight.
When the wolf transforms into a towering grey werewolf, Belphastus believes he is about to witness something magnificent.
He is not entirely wrong.
The werewolf possesses extraordinary strength, powerful claws and the ability to heal. Mr Tibbles, by contrast, is already badly wounded. Belphastus watches with delight as his creation is pushed to the brink of defeat.
Then his servant Pier unleashes a truly disgusting surprise.
The battle turns savage. The werewolf is blinded, battered and finally brought down by Mr Tibbles. But when the victorious creature changes back, the truth is revealed: beneath the enormous grey wolf was Drear, the woodland spirit who had become part of this strange and terrible story.
Mr Tibbles sees the little girl lying motionless in the mud.
And he remembers.
He remembers the child who gave him his name. The one who treated him with kindness. The one who saw something more than a monster.
Belphastus had brought Mr Tibbles back to serve him. He believed that power and purpose were enough to make the creature his possession.
He was wrong.
As Mr Tibbles turns towards his creator, the necromancer finally discovers that even the dead can remember—and that the monster he made is capable of choosing its own target.
Featuring Fenrir, William Marshal, Belphastus, Mr Tibbles, Drear and Pier, this episode continues the medieval supernatural horror storyline with werewolf mythology, necromancy, dark fantasy, grotesque humour and a devastating confrontation between creator and creation.

Werewolf the Podcast: A Monstrous Fight | William Marshal, Mr Tibbles & Medieval Horror (Episode 283)
Season 13, Episode 283
Show notes
William Marshal charges a monster to save his friend. It may be the last thing he ever does.
A medieval village is being torn apart. Two wounded knights are losing the fight. And something far more dangerous than a man is about to enter the battle.
In Episode 283 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, William Marshal races back to the village to find Gervais and Percy of Northumberland fighting for their lives against the terrifying creature known as Mr Tibbles.
The monster is stronger than any ordinary man, faster than its size should allow, and protected by a hide that turns aside a blade. Percy is badly wounded. Gervais can barely stand. Their training and battlefield experience have brought them this far—but neither knight can hold the creature back much longer.
Then William sees Gervais about to die.
He charges.
William's desperate attack knocks the monster from its feet and saves his friend's life. But the young knight has thrown himself bodily against a creature that outweighs him enormously. Injured, exhausted and trapped in the mud, William finds himself face-to-face with a monster that is already getting back up.
Just as its sharpened limbs descend, a gigantic grey wolf crashes into the battle.
The wolf attacks with savage determination, tearing into the creature's neck. What follows is a brutal struggle of claws, teeth, blood and supernatural strength. The fighting beasts smash through the village, and William becomes trapped beneath their combined weight, unable to move or draw breath.
Gervais desperately tries to reach him. Percy knows that rushing into the fight could mean another death. All they can do is watch as the wolf and the monster battle—and hope that William is still alive beneath them.
But the creature is not finished.
Wounded and bleeding, it breaks free and escapes into the forest. The wolf follows. And in the mud and wreckage left behind, Gervais is faced with the possibility that he has lost the friend who just saved his life.
Will William Marshal survive the fight? And what is the true nature of the gigantic grey wolf that attacked the monster?
Featuring William Marshal, Gervais, Percy of Northumberland, Fenrir and the terrifying creature known as Mr Tibbles, this instalment continues the medieval storyline of Werewolf the Podcast with intense monster combat, supernatural horror, historical fantasy, werewolf mythology and very British dark humour.

Werewolf the Podcast: Lucifer’s Choice | William Marshal, Fenrir & Medieval Dark Fantasy (Episode 282)
Season 13, Episode 282
Show notes
Lucifer has a question for William Marshal. The answer could cost lives.
Save his friends—or hunt the necromancer. William cannot do both. Or can he?
In Episode 282 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, William Marshal is closing in on Belphastus, the dangerous necromancer whose actions have brought terror to a medieval village. But just as William is about to catch his quarry, a mysterious and impossibly beautiful woman trips him up—quite literally.
Her name is Luci.
She knows William Marshal. She can see Fenrir, the wolf soul bound to him. And she has no intention of letting William decide his own next move without a little interference.
Because Luci is Lucifer Morningstar.
When she reveals that William’s friends, Gervais and Percy of Northumberland, are struggling against the terrifying Mr Tibbles, she presents William with an impossible choice: return to the village and try to save the people in danger, or continue pursuing Belphastus before the necromancer escapes.
One knight. Two paths. Lives at stake.
But Lucifer has overlooked one important detail.
Fenrir can make his own decisions.
As William races back towards the village, Fenrir pursues Belphastus through the forest—and Lucifer discovers that even a carefully engineered moral dilemma can go wrong when a werewolf and his wolf soul refuse to follow the script.
Featuring Lucifer Morningstar, William Marshal, Fenrir, Belphastus, Gervais, Percy of Northumberland, Mr Tibbles and Trudure, this episode continues the medieval supernatural storyline with dark fantasy, necromancy, supernatural intrigue and the distinctly British dark comedy that defines the series.
Expect an arrogant necromancer, a knight face-down in the mud, a Devil with a plan, a wolf with opinions, and a choice that may not be as simple as it appears.

Mr Tibbles Unleashed | Medieval Monster Horror & Dark Fantasy (Episode 281)
The monster has been hurt.
The little girl who gave him a name has been taken from him.
Now Mr Tibbles is searching for her.
In Episode 281 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, the terrifying creature known as Mr Tibbles finally tells his story. From the darkness beneath the earth to the forest that remembers him, we discover what he was before Belphastus brought him back—and how a frightened, ancient forest spirit became something that the medieval villagers call a demon.
Mr Tibbles remembers the trees.
He remembers the warmth of the sun.
He remembers the axe.
He remembers the darkness.
And then he remembers Chéri.
The little girl who isn't frightened of the monster becomes the first creature he understands. She gives him a name. She gives him safety. She gives him something he has never had before: a reason to exist.
Then the villagers take her away.
Confused, frightened and unable to understand why the humans are hurting the one person he loves, Mr Tibbles begins searching the medieval village for Chéri. The villagers call him a demon, a beast and a monster—but Mr Tibbles doesn't understand what those words mean.
He only knows that Chéri is missing.
As people begin dying throughout the village, Gervais and Percy desperately try to find the invisible threat moving through the darkness. They arrive seconds too late again and again, finding blood, destruction and terrified survivors—but never the creature responsible.
Gervais becomes increasingly furious.
He can fight men.
He can fight soldiers.
But how do you fight something that seems to be everywhere and nowhere?
Then the search leads back to Chéri's home.
Gervais finally confronts Mr Tibbles.
And discovers that this is no ordinary monster.
The creature can heal.
It can survive a sword thrust.
It can move with terrifying speed.
And it is very, very angry.
Featuring: Mr Tibbles, Chéri, Gervais, Percy of Northumberland, William Marshal, Belphastus, Fenrir and the villagers of the medieval forest.

Season 13, Episode 279
Show notes
Werewolf the Podcast: The Monster, the Mob & Mr Tibbles | Belphastus & William Marshal (Episode 279)
A medieval village has decided that the creature in Belphastus's hovel is a demon.
They have brought torches, axes, pitchforks, sickles, spades… and, inexplicably, a wooden spoon.
In Episode 279 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, Belphastus watches as a terrified medieval mob surrounds his home, convinced that the monstrous Mr Tibbles must be destroyed. But the villagers don't understand what they are facing—and they certainly don't understand the strange relationship between the enormous blackened creature and the little girl who calls him her friend.
As the mob demands that the monster be brought outside, Chéri walks into the middle of them holding Mr Tibbles's hand.
Belphastus finds the whole situation hilarious.
William Marshal finds it considerably more complicated.
William arrives at the hovel with Fen, Volchor, Drear, Gervais and Percy of Northumberland and discovers a creature that may not be the demon everyone believes it to be. Drear identifies something familiar in the monster: a spirit connected to the ancient forest.
But something else is watching.
Hidden among the trees, Belphastus watches the chaos—until William Marshal does something Belphastus doesn't expect.
William can see him.
And suddenly the ancient sorcerer is no longer the only person watching the mob.
The Monster. The Mob. Mr Tibbles. Belphastus. William Marshal. And something in the forest that should not be here.

Something has been disturbed.

Werewolf the Podcast: Belphastus & the Demon That Learned to Love | Fear, Faith & Forest Horror (Episode 276)
Season 13, Episode 276
Show notes
Episode 276 — Belphastus & the Demon That Learned to Love
Belphastus created a demon to feed on fear, grief, doubt and despair. There is just one problem: the demon has learned to love.
In this episode of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, the ancient sorcerer Belphastus watches his carefully constructed plan begin to unravel inside the haunted forest of Brotonne.
The villagers are frightened. Their faith is beginning to crack. Father Étienne is struggling to protect his people from a supernatural creature that appears to know their deepest fears and can imitate the voices and appearances of their dead loved ones.
Belphastus expects fear to become hatred, hatred to become violence, and violence to become despair — the emotions that have sustained his supernatural power for thousands of years.
Instead, something completely unexpected happens.
The villagers begin to stand together.
Fear becomes courage.
Faith begins to change.
And Belphastus discovers that his monster is capable of something he never intended to create.
Love.
When the demon encounters Matthieu's young daughter, it doesn't attack her. She isn't afraid of the creature. Instead, she recognises something hidden beneath the horror: a lonely monster.
The creature responds to her kindness.
And Belphastus is horrified.
For the first time, his creation is no longer simply a weapon. It is developing an identity, emotions and a will of its own.
Then the little girl does something even more disturbing.
She speaks directly to Belphastus.
And she tells him to leave.
As two ancient Wolf Souls watch from the forest, Belphastus begins to realise that he may have created something he cannot control.
This dark fantasy horror episode explores demons, ancient magic, supernatural creatures, faith, fear, despair, courage, love and the dangerous consequences of creating a monster you cannot control.
If you enjoy horror fiction podcasts, supernatural audio dramas, dark fantasy, monster stories, werewolf fiction, occult horror, demon stories and horror comedy, this is another chapter in the increasingly strange story of Belphastus and the ancient forest.
What happens when the thing you created to feed on fear learns to love?

Werewolf the Podcast: The Demon in the Forest | Belphastus, Faith & Fear (Episode 275)
Season 13, Episode 275
Show notes
Episode 275 — The Demon in the Forest
A man enters the forest believing that God will protect him. He leaves wondering whether God was ever listening.
Matthieu is a charcoal burner living beside an ancient forest. He knows the woods, respects them and understands that they are far older than his village, his church and the people who believe they own them.
But one evening, while walking home to his wife and children, Matthieu encounters something impossible.
A creature with too many limbs.
A thing with too many eyes.
A demon—or something far older than the word demon.
At first, Matthieu believes his Christian faith protects him. When the creature recoils from his prayers, he becomes convinced that God has given him power over the monster.
But the creature isn't trying to kill him.
It is leading him deeper into the forest.
Then Matthieu hears the sound of his daughter crying.
And when the creature finally speaks, it uses his daughter's voice.
What follows is not simply an encounter with a monster. It is an attack on Matthieu's faith, his certainty and his belief that God is watching over him.
Because sometimes the most terrifying question isn't:
"Does God exist?"
It is:
"If God exists… why did He let this happen?"
Meanwhile, deep within the forest, Belphastus is watching.
The ancient sorcerer feeds upon human fear, hatred, misery and despair. He doesn't need to kill Matthieu. He only needs to make him doubt.
And Matthieu's doubt is delicious.
Belphastus has discovered something more powerful than fear: a crack in someone's faith.
As the villagers welcome Matthieu home, Belphastus watches from the darkness and begins to understand that something far more dangerous than a monster has been created.
Doubt.
Fear.
Despair.
And the knowledge that whatever lives in the forest may have followed Matthieu home.

Werewolf the Podcast: Belphastus | The Ancient Sorcerer Who Feeds on Fear, Hate & Despair (Episode 274)
Season 13, Episode 274
Show notes
Werewolf the Podcast: Belphastus the Sorcerer Revealed | Ancient Evil, Dark Magic & Horror (Episode 273)
Belphastus the Unclaimed finally reveals the horrifying truth about what he is — an ancient sorcerer who has survived for thousands of years by feeding on human fear, hatred, misery and despair.
In this dark fantasy horror episode of Werewolf the Podcast, Belphastus tells his story in his own words. Long before modern civilisation, he discovered that human suffering could become a source of supernatural power. Fear made him stronger. Hatred gave him energy. But despair was the greatest nourishment of all.
Over thousands of years, Belphastus learned that he did not need to create every war, plague or tragedy himself. He only needed to manipulate people. A suggestion placed in the right mind could turn neighbours against one another, transform fear into hatred and turn hatred into violence.
But Christianity presented Belphastus with an unexpected enemy: love, forgiveness and hope.
His encounter with Bernard of Clairvaux, the medieval Christian saint and Cistercian monk, becomes one of the most important moments in his long existence. Bernard does not respond to Belphastus with hatred or revenge. Instead, he offers compassion and forgiveness — something Belphastus finds far more dangerous.
Now hiding in the ancient Brotonne Forest, Belphastus begins rebuilding his supernatural power. With the help of Pier, he prepares an ancient stone circle and uses a forgotten forest spirit to create something monstrous.
His plan is simple.
Create fear.
Turn fear into anger.
Turn anger into hatred.
Turn hatred into violence.
And turn violence into despair.
Because despair belongs to Belphastus.
Featuring ancient sorcery, dark magic, medieval horror, Christian mythology, forest spirits, supernatural monsters and the continuing mythology of Werewolf the Podcast, this episode reveals the origins and methods of one of the series' most dangerous characters.
Belphastus has spent thousands of years manipulating humanity.
Now he is ready to begin again.
And somewhere in the ancient forest, something is waiting to be unleashed.

Werewolf the Podcast | William Marshal Meets a Dryad & Ancient Werewolves | Brotonne Forest (Episode 272)
Season 13, Episode 272
Show notes
William Marshal's hunt for the Beast of Brotonne Forest takes an unexpected turn when Fenrir finally reunites with his ancient wolf brother, Volchor.
Deep within the legendary Brotonne Forest, the truth behind the attacks is revealed. The beast is not a monster hunting villagers, but an ancient guardian protecting the memory of a Dryad whose sacred oak was destroyed by Norman settlers.
As Volchor recounts centuries of grief, Fenrir discovers that the Dryad Dreana survives—but as a human child with no memory of her former life. The church itself has unknowingly been built from the timbers of her ancient tree, leaving William Marshal facing an impossible choice between protecting innocent villagers or preserving one of the oldest spirits in Europe.
Inspired by medieval history, Norman France, Celtic mythology and European folklore, this chapter explores the origins of Dryads, ancient wolf spirits and the cost of civilisation as William Marshal uncovers one of the greatest mysteries of Brotonne Forest.

Season 12, Episode 266
Show notes
In the explosive series finale of this arc (Episode 266 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama), Fairy Foxglove delivers a chilling, unhinged monologue about the death of belief, the kidnapping of children's belief factories, and her vengeful transformation from a creature of wonder into a sadistic killer. Watch (or listen) as Wil/Fen the giant black werewolf charges in, the Wing Commander and Lady Luck join the fray, horror kittens rampage, and swords fly in a brutal, darkly hilarious climax. Featuring Foxglove bisected, the collection of the mysterious Law of the Rings (via Amazombies), and Wil's naked demand for more murder—this episode blends supernatural horror, fairy mythology, Hell politics, sharp British banter, and over-the-top violence with laugh-out-loud absurdity.
Perfect for fans of dark fantasy audio dramas, horror comedy like What We Do in the Shadows or Good Omens, werewolf stories, Neil Gaiman-style myths, and chaotic supernatural battles. Is this truly "The End of the Law of the Rings"? The Lunatics know the chaos never truly stops.
