    Season 1, Episode 1186

    Show notes

Angus MacRaild and Jonny McMillan have tasted thousands of whiskies over the years, but both believe modern-day whiskies are lacking something compared to vintage malts. Rather than gripe about it, they decided to make their own "old-style" Scotch Whisky. It took 12 years to raise the money to build a distillery, but this summer, Kythe Distillery went into production. We'll talk with Angus and Jonny on this week's WhiskyCast In-Depth. In the news, Whisky Advocate publisher and editor Marvin Shanken has passed away at the age of 83.
