Please Distribute the Size 8 Shoes. #Olgaforeign #whoyellingnow?
Season 7, Episode 6
Show notes
WHO YELLING NOW? | Season 7, Episode 6
PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THE SIZE 8 SHOES
We are all equal.
Are we?
If equality means treating everyone the same, then why not distribute size 8 shoes to every human being?
Never mind that our feet differ in size, shape, arches, and abilities. Even the two feet belonging to the same person aren't necessarily identical.
So why are we so determined to make human beings equal?
In this episode of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™ takes a provocative, humorous, and philosophical look at equality, individuality, human dignity, and the contradictions surrounding our differences.
Through two original poems, “The Equality of Me” and “The Unequal Choice,” Olga explores the absurdities of trying to make even the human body equal.
Then, in the original speculative story “The World of Equals: The Genius Problem,” we travel to Equalis, a planet where exceptional abilities are punishable by law.
When planetary destruction threatens every citizen, the government desperately searches for the very geniuses it has spent generations forcing into hiding.
Gerald, leader of a secret society of exceptional thinkers, faces an agonizing decision.
Will he risk his family and his people to save a civilization that may punish them once the danger has passed?
Or will everyone perish together as equals?
This episode isn't about providing answers.
It's about questioning the assumptions we repeat without examining them.
Are equality and sameness the same thing?
Who decides what makes another human equal?
And why should our differences determine whether we deserve dignity?
Perhaps humanity doesn't need to become equal. Perhaps we need to recognize one another as human.
Listen. Question. Think for yourself.

Who Yelling Now? — Season 7, Episode 5
Should Abortion Affect You?
Hosted by Olga Foreign™ | Season 7: Let's Create ControversyHow does someone else's abortion truly affect you?
Not whether you're pro-life. Not whether you're pro-choice. Not whether you approve or disapprove.
How does it actually affect you?
In this thought-provoking episode of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™ moves beyond familiar slogans to examine a question often overlooked in the abortion debate: What happens when an individual's reproductive decision becomes part of a nation's future?
Through the emotional story of Evelyn, a military widow struggling to support her son and two aging mothers while facing an unexpected pregnancy, we explore the distance between personal convictions, public promises, and the responsibilities people actually carry.
But the conversation doesn't end at Evelyn's kitchen table.
What happens when one woman's decision becomes 200,000 individual decisions? How might reproductive choices collectively influence birth rates, the workforce, tax revenues, military recruitment, immigration, and the future of a country?
And when governments consider those collective consequences, where does national interest end and individual authority begin?
Featuring two original poems, “The Authority of Me” and “The Weight of My Thoughts,” this episode challenges listeners to examine the difference between holding an opinion, exercising authority, and accepting responsibility.
Perhaps the abortion conversation has become so consumed by opposing slogans that we've neglected to examine the larger questions.
If you believe someone else's decision affects your future, how much responsibility are you prepared to accept for theirs?
No slogans. No predetermined answers. Just questions worth examining.

Immigration: The False Question
Hosted by Olga Foreign™ | Season 7: Let's Create Controversy
What if a whale demanded a passport from a passing ship? What if birds stopped airplanes and demanded flight permits? What if the roots of trees required authorization before humans could dig a well?
Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
But consider this: humans aren't the largest, fastest, or strongest species on Earth. Yet somehow, we've appointed ourselves the authority over who can move where on a planet we share with millions of other species.
Birds cross continents. Whales travel oceans. Seeds ride the wind. And humans? We created passports, visas, borders, immigration departments, and laws determining where another member of our own species may stand.
When did movement become something another human being had the authority to grant?
In this episode of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™ challenges the assumptions behind immigration—not through conventional political arguments, but through nature, satire, poetry, and an extraordinary fictional story.
Meet Lena, a woman who falls asleep in her homeland and awakens centuries later in an entirely different country. She never crossed a border. She never left home. Yet government officials now consider her a foreigner.
How did Lena become an immigrant without moving an inch?
Through two original poems, Past the Horizon and The Guardian of the Guard, we explore the absurdity of human authority, the complexity of belonging, and the extraordinary confidence with which we govern movement across Earth.
This isn't about whether immigration is good or bad. It's about questioning the assumptions that came before the laws.
If humans are as intelligent as we claim, couldn't we have developed a less complicated—and less cruel—way of sharing our planet?
Perhaps immigration isn't the question. Perhaps the question is who gave us permission to grant permission.
Listen, question, laugh, and join the controversy.

The Unsafe Economy. #Who Yelling Now? #olgaforeign
Season 7, Episode 3
Show notes
WHO YELLING NOW? — Season 7: Let’s Create Controversy
EP03 — THE UNSAFE ECONOMY: I Just Wanted to Feel SafeHow much are you paying just to feel safe?
Home insurance. Car insurance. Health insurance. Life insurance. Security cameras. Alarm systems. Cybersecurity. Medical screenings. Safer cars. Better locks. Emergency supplies. Identity protection.
And somehow, after buying all that protection, the feeling of being unsafe never completely disappears.
In this episode of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™ explores The Unsafe Economy—the enormous network of legitimate industries built around our need to protect ourselves from what might happen.
This isn't a conspiracy.
Crime exists. Accidents happen. People become sick. Homes burn. identities are stolen. Cars crash. People die.
We need many of these services.
That's what makes the question uncomfortable.
Insurance companies need policyholders. Security companies need customers. Hospitals need patients. Police respond to danger. Manufacturers sell protective products. Technology companies protect our identities and information. Even the funeral industry exists because eventually, none of us gets out alive.
Someone must sell.
Someone must buy.
And somewhere between actual danger and the possibility of danger sits something extraordinarily valuable:
the human desire to feel safe.
Through poetry, satire and the story of an ordinary woman who simply wants some peace of mind, Olga asks what happens when every solution to one fear introduces us to another risk worth protecting ourselves against.
Are we actually becoming safer?
Or are we becoming increasingly aware of everything that could make us unsafe?
And if the world suddenly became completely safe tomorrow...
how many industries could afford it?
Welcome to THE UNSAFE ECONOMY.

Who Freed Speech. #olgaforeign#whoyellingnow?
Season 7, Episode 2
Show notes
WHO YELLING NOW? — S7 EP02WHO FREED SPEECH?
We call it free speech.
But who imprisoned it? Who freed it? And if speech is truly free, why can speaking cost so damn much?
In Episode 2 of Who Yelling Now? — Let’s Create Controversy, Olga Foreign™ explores the distance between having the legal right to speak and actually feeling free to use your voice.
A job can hold your tongue. So can poverty. Family. Culture. Fear. Belonging. Retaliation. Even love can make us calculate the price of a sentence before we say it.
And silence has a price too.
Through poetry, the fictional story “The Price of Silence,” and a candid conversation with guest Ama K. Karikari, Esq., this episode asks what happens when the ability to speak is distributed unequally—and whether silencing some people eventually costs all of society.
Ama K. Karikari, Esq. is an author, speaker, and transformational guide who helps mothers understand emotional harm, rebuild self-trust, and move forward with clarity. She is the author of Silenced to Soaring, an empowerment workbook created to help women understand patterns including the silent treatment and emotional withdrawal.
Ama also leads Soaring Sisters, a Skool community offering weekly support, accountability, and mastermind sessions for women healing and working toward stronger personal and professional lives for themselves and their children. She holds degrees from Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and Wharton, and is the founder of Milestales Project Staffing.
Together, Olga and Ama explore some uncomfortable questions:
Can speech really be free when people pay different prices for using it? When does choosing silence become learned silence? Does wealth make the consequences of speaking easier to survive? Can belonging become its own form of censorship? And perhaps most uncomfortable of all—when nobody is physically stopping us from speaking, what still holds our tongues?
Because maybe speech isn't simply about whether someone gives us permission to speak.
Maybe it's also about what it costs us when we do—and what it costs everyone when we don't.

WHO YELLING NOW? — SEASON 7, EPISODE 01
AMEN INCORPORATED
Season 7: Let’s Create ControversyWelcome to the annual meeting of Amen Incorporated.
Twenty years ago, Amen began with twelve people, folding chairs, a borrowed keyboard, and a desire to serve its community.
Today?
There are buildings. Employees. Volunteers. Property. Executive compensation. Marketing. Membership growth. Attrition. Youth programs. Community outreach. Competition. Revenue projections. Five-year targets.
And, of course, faith.
Olga Foreign™ was invited to open the meeting with a poem.
She probably should have left afterward.
Instead, she saw coffee.
So she stayed.
What follows is an ordinary corporate meeting about an organization doing what organizations do: raising money, paying employees, maintaining property, attracting new members, retaining existing ones, serving its community, protecting its reputation, planning for growth—and making sure the doors remain open.
Nothing illegal happens.
Nobody confesses to stealing anything.
Nobody runs out of the room carrying a bag of money.
Which creates a much more uncomfortable question:
Why does ordinary business language suddenly sound so different when the business is faith?
When does outreach become marketing?
When does evangelism become customer acquisition?
When does giving become recurring revenue?
When does a congregation become a market?
And if an organization depends upon your spiritual belief to receive your financial support...
how much do you know about the organization you financially support because of what you spiritually believe?
I came to give them a poem.
I stayed for the meeting.
I left with questions.
And apparently...a slight limp.

WHAT ARE WE BECOMING? — Season Finale
The Last Ordinary DayWhat if history doesn't repeat itself?
What if humanity repeats humanity?
In the Season 6 finale of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™ follows two women named Mara, separated by five hundred years, through two remarkably ordinary days.
One hears a rumor in a crowded marketplace. The other watches a viral video on her phone. One watches a man condemned by a crowd. The other watches a woman destroyed online. Both know something the crowd doesn't know. Both have an opportunity to speak.
And both go home.
Different centuries. Different technology. Different societies.
Same humanity.
After an entire season asking What Are We Becoming?, this finale turns the question around. Perhaps we're not simply becoming our forefathers. Perhaps we're doing something much more consequential:
We are becoming someone else's forefathers.
We are becoming ancestors.Through poetry, storytelling, humor, and reflection, Olga asks us to consider the ordinary choices that rarely feel important enough to become history—the things we repeat, tolerate, witness, ignore, and practice every day.
Because becoming may not happen in one dramatic moment.
It may happen quietly.
One breath.
One choice.
One silence.
One ordinary day.And someday, people who haven't even been born yet may look back at us and ask:
How could they have known... and still gone home?

Season 6, Episode 11
Show notes
Episode 11 Description — Loud Before You Speak
What if the loudest person in the room never raises their voice?
In Episode 11 of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™ challenges the idea that loudness is sound.
A woman walks silently beside a powerful man, yet her beauty, education, clothing and presence announce his importance before he says a word.
A CEO appears to command 73,000 employees with a single sentence—“I’ve decided.” But how many analysts, advisers, executives, family members and unseen voices were inside that sentence before it became his?
And then there is the power vampire—the person who recognizes the value of your idea while you’re still calling it “probably nothing.”
Through two original poems, “The Most Important Accessory” and “I’ll Take It,” and the story “The Two Empty Chairs,” Olga explores how power is projected, borrowed, accumulated, surrendered and amplified.
Because maybe loud isn’t how much sound you make.
Maybe loud is how much of yourself you can make the world notice, carry, repeat, obey—or surrender to someone else.
So before you speak, ask yourself:
What has already spoken for you?

What Silence Makes of Us
We like to believe silence means we didn't participate.
But what if silence is one of the most powerful forms of participation?
In Season 6, Episode 10 of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign™examines what happens when seeing becomes looking away, hearing becomespretending, and “not my business” becomes a way of life.
Through poetry and the darkly satirical story “The Neighborhood,”we enter a community whose residents possess remarkable gifts: they can becomeblind, deaf, mute—even invisible—the moment someone needs them. Then a newneighbor arrives who hasn't learned how not to see.
What happens to a society when enough people recognize what is happeningbut wait for someone else to respond?
Who are we becoming?
Perhaps full participants in our own destruction—using silence as ourgift to true evil.

Season 6, Episode 9 — Addicted to Witnessing
We watch. We record. We replay. We judge.
But does witnessing something mean we actually understand what happened?
In Addicted to Witnessing, Olga Foreign explores ourgrowing dependence on seeing—and being seen—from the lives we perform on socialmedia to the violence, conflict, and human suffering we consume every day. Whathappens when a few seconds of video become enough for us to assign blame, demand punishment, and believe we know the truth?
Attorney David Thiruselvam joins the conversation toexamine what happens when what society believes it witnessed collides with whatcan actually be established in a courtroom. Together, they explore missingcontext, human memory, video evidence, desensitization to violence, socialpunishment, and the uncomfortable distance between “I saw it”and “I know what happened.”

Outsourcing Ourselves
We've handed off our memory to calendars. Our directions to maps. Our contacts to a phone. That's not new — humans have always outsourced burdens to tools. But somewhere along the way, we started outsourcing something else: the slow, unglamorous work of actually getting to know one another.
This episode follows a young actress on the eve of her first publicist meeting, who receives a 31-page questionnaire meant to "build her brand" — and decides to ask her own questions first. Along the way: two original poems on what a profile can never tell you about a person, and what's left of yourself once everyone else has told you who you are.

In this episode of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign explores the difference between being alone and being lonely, challenging the assumptions we make about the people around us—and ourselves.
Through two powerful poems from A Lonely Walk and the story of Veronica and Marcus, this episode asks a simple but uncomfortable question:

What does it really mean to be human?
For thousands of years, humanity has built civilizations, created governments, written laws, established religions, and pursued progress—all in the hope of creating a more humane world. But have these achievements brought us closer to our humanity, or have they simply taught us how to organize ourselves?
In this thought-provoking episode, Olga Foreign explores the difference between being born human and becoming human. Through poetry, storytelling, and reflection, she invites listeners to question whether humanity is a destination we have yet to reach or a daily choice we continue to make.

As algorithms increasingly shape the information we consume, recommend our choices, and predict our behavior, are we quietly allowing data to define our morality?
Through two original poems and the story of Joan, a woman whose life cannot be understood by a single act, Olga Foreign explores whether a human soul can ever be reduced to patterns, probabilities, and predictions. The Performance of Being Human
Who are you?
The answer may depend less on who you are... and more on who others remember.
In this episode of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign explores the invisible performance we all participate in every day. Through the story of Mr. Hastings—a respected manager whose coworkers suddenly begin treating him differently after discovering he wears a prosthetic leg—the question shifts from Who am I? to Who do you expect me to be?
Why do we rewrite people the moment we learn something new about them? Why does kindness sometimes become assumption? And when does compassion quietly replace dignity?
Perhaps the greatest performance of being human isn't pretending to be someone we're not...

Every one of us knows what "normal" looks like.
We recognize it in how people dress, speak, grieve, celebrate, work, and dream. Yet few of us can answer a simple question:
Who taught us what normal means?
In the Season 6 premiere of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign explores one of humanity's quietest inheritances—the invisible rules we absorb long before we're old enough to question them.
Through poetry, story, and reflection, this episode examines the difference between visible scars and invisible ones, inherited habits and conscious choices, asking whether the most influential ideas in our lives are the ones we chose... or the ones we never realized we inherited.

WE CALL IT PROGRESSProgress is one of the few words almost everyone agrees is good.
We celebrate it.
We pursue it.
We measure it.
We build entire lives around it.But what if progress is simply movement?
A disease progresses.
A wildfire progresses.
An avalanche progresses.
A river progresses beyond its banks.None of these ask whether the destination is desirable.
In the Season 5 finale of Who Yelling Now?, Olga Foreign examines one of society's most celebrated words and asks a deceptively simple question:
What exactly are we measuring when we call something progress?
Through the poem My Progress, a story about a small lie that grows beyond its creator's control, and the poem Drip, Drip, Drop, this episode explores how seemingly insignificant actions, choices, and assumptions can continue progressing long after we stop paying attention.
A single step.
A single lie.
A single drop of water. The danger may not be the beginning.
The danger may be what it becomes.
As Season 5 comes to a close, we revisit the questions that shaped this journey:
What are we calling love?
What are we calling loyalty?
What are we calling stability?
What are we calling passion?
What are we calling truth?
What are we calling success?
What are we calling education?
