On the morning Prince Arthas came home, a city guard captain told his lieutenant that their job was to help people, not push them aside. Days later the captain was dead, and soon the lieutenant was too. He woke up in the Undercity with no memory, and became the first of the Forsaken to call on the Light. This episode follows Garek Bandarion through the whole of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom, mission by mission.
Along the way there is a death knight who prays the Light will destroy him, a dark ranger who remembers everything, an undead warrior who calls his undeath a malady, a princess raised by the Light itself, and an old archbishop whom the Light burns every time he prays, and who prays anyway.

On the first morning of the new age, a new character wakes in Northshire Abbey or the Valley of Trials and walks into a quarrel twenty-five years old, with roots ten thousand years older. This episode tells all of it in current canon, from the first war under the world to the eve of the gates opening, and stops there: no later expansions, no spoilers for the world you are about to play.
Along the way there is a titan who killed a newborn world to save the others, a queen who opened a door, a druid who broke the Well of Eternity, a prince who knelt before his father's throne, a city guard captain who stayed behind in the sewers, and the first Forsaken paladin. And at the end, the last people to arrive: the Skyborne, whose story begins in a city we pass in the first hour.
Relax and drift off as we explore:
• The titans, Sargeras and the Old Gods
• The War of the Ancients and the Sundering
• Eldre'Thalas and the rebels who fled it
• Arathor, the Troll Wars and the Guardians
• The First and Second Wars

This Hallow's End edition also walks the festival itself. You come in from the cold to the inn at Brill with a bucket of sweets by the hearth, and before the night is over you have spent your treats on masks, wands and a broom that flies, thrown your burdens at the wickerman, fought the fires with a bucket in Goldshire, and stood at the pumpkin shrine behind the Scarlet Monastery as the rider rose.
Before he was a headless rider throwing flaming pumpkins at Goldshire, Thomas Thomson was a knight of the Silver Hand with a wife, two children and a pumpkin farm in Tirisfal Glades. He sent his family to safety across the sea, joined the Scarlet Crusade, and learned from a mentor who was secretly a dreadlord that suspicion was holy. Then, purging a village of refugees, he rode down three fleeing figures and recognised them too late. This is his whole story, told from his side, from the old Wickerman Festival of Lordaeron to the night his wife's ghost came back to save him.
This episode covers the full arc: Hallow's End in old Lordaeron, the Thomson farm and the Terrace of Repose, Baron Rivendare's poisoned grain, the last ships to Kalimdor, Saidan Dathrohan and Balnazzar, the purge north of Dalson's Tears, the beheading and the curse, the shades that burn six villages, the battle in the Forlorn Cloister, the Forsaken and Gilnean festivals, the Bonefleet and the Crooked Tree, the Ebon Blade and the Horseman's saddle, and the Dragonflight story of Jerome Hayton, Suzannah and the tale of Sir Thomas.
