Danhausen unleashed The Demon on Gunther! But how did WWE get here, and was this bizarre storyline secretly building toward Finn Bálor's return all along? In this WrestleChop deep dive, we're breaking down the COMPLETE Danhausen and Demon Finn Bálor timeline. From Danhausen's mysterious laboratory experiments and bizarre electrocutions involving The Miz, Kit Wilson, and Zack Ryder to his growing problems with Gunther, we're connecting the dots on a storyline that took months to unfold. We'll revisit the gingerbread man mystery involving Sami Zayn and Trick Williams, the accidental discovery that seemingly restored wrestlers' former personalities, Finn Bálor's involvement with Gunther, and the clues that led to the shocking events of WWE SmackDown on October 30, 2026. Was this WWE's plan from the beginning, or did a series of ridiculous comedy segments turn into something much bigger? Let's examine the entire storyline, separate the facts from the theories, and explain how Danhausen brought The Demon back to confront Gunther! #Danhausen #FinnBalor #TheDemon #Gunther #WWE

WWE SmackDown was a strange one this week! Danhausen's Very Nice, Very Evil Halloween special gave us Gunther absolutely destroying Danhausen, an army of Minihausens, and the shocking return of The Demon Finn Bálor! The Demon unleashed hell on Gunther, putting him through the announce table with a massive Coup de Grâce from a ladder. Was this ridiculous? Absolutely. But I was actually entertained! Did WWE finally find something interesting for Danhausen and Gunther? Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton continue their feud, and I have one major question: WHY? Cody delivered another intense promo promising to punt Randy Orton's head off at Crown Jewel, but what exactly is WWE trying to accomplish here? These two have history, but the storytelling feels forced, and I'm struggling to understand why we're supposed to be invested in this rivalry. Then there's Randy Orton's hilarious Instagram response to Cody Rhodes! Randy filmed himself watching Cody's SmackDown promo, including Cody showing the damage from Orton's WrestleMania punt kick. When Cody reminded everyone that he actually won that match, Randy's sarcastic reaction said everything. We'll break down that video, Cody's threats, and whether WWE has completely lost its direction with these two. We're also discussing Sami Zayn defending the WWE Championship against Trick Williams in a wild No Disqualification match, Tiffany Stratton's interrupted Money in the Bank cash-in attempt, Chelsea Green against Nikki Bella, and the rest of Friday Night SmackDown. Was this a good show, a bad show, or one entertaining segment surrounded by a whole lot of nothing? Let's talk about it! #WWESmackDown #Danhausen #Gunther #RandyOrton #CodyRhodes

WWE SmackDown was BORING, But then Gunther and Danhausen happened, and I have to admit something that might upset a few wrestling fans. I actually enjoyed it! Gunther beating the hell out of Danhausen, the ridiculous Minihausens, and the return of Demon Finn Bálor? I'm sorry, but I was entertained! We also got Cody Rhodes addressing Randy Orton ahead of Crown Jewel, Chelsea Green defending her Women's Championship against Nikki Bella, and Tiffany Stratton once again trying to cash in on Liv Morgan. Seriously, how many times are we going to do this? Meanwhile, Sami Zayn defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams in a chaotic main event. There's plenty to unpack about the direction of SmackDown and WWE's storytelling heading into Crown Jewel. Was the Gunther and Danhausen segment entertaining or just plain stupid? Did the return of The Demon save the show? Let's talk about everything that happened on WWE SmackDown! #WWESmackDown #Danhausen #Gunther #FinnBalor #WrestleChop

Swerve Strickland is an absolute psychopath, and I LOVE IT! AEW Dynamite's Fright Night delivered one of my favorite segments in a long time. Austin Creed and Kofi Kingston wanted competition, but I don't think they realized what they were getting themselves into! Swerve's attack on Bandido and Hangman Page's warning made this segment absolutely PERFECT! We also had Darby Allin defending the TNT Championship against Josh Alexander, with Steven Borden making a surprise appearance! Claudio Castagnoli went absolutely crazy against The Cut, and Jon Moxley challenged them to Anarchy in the Arena at Full Gear. Kyle Fletcher challenged Will Ospreay, the Motor City Machine Guns took another victory over FTR, Marina Shafir confronted Mercedes Moné, and Queen Aminata became the NEW TBS Champion! Was this one of AEW's best segments of the year? Let's talk about everything that happened on Dynamite! #AEWDynamite #SwerveStrickland #AEW #WrestleChop #adampage

Old-school Survivor Series is back on WrestleChop! I’m fantasy booking WWE’s roster into traditional Survivor Series elimination matches—with five-person teams, classic team names, unlikely partners, and some ridiculous surprises. Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and R-Truth teaming together? The Vision bringing IShowSpeed into the mix? Chad Gable leading a team with Penta, Rey Fénix, Rey Mysterio, and Dragon Lee? I’m putting together a full dream card that captures the fun of classic WWE Survivor Series, where the team combinations were part of the attraction. We’ve also got women’s teams featuring Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Fatal Influence, Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss. And then there’s Gunther, who thinks he can handle Danhausen’s entire team by himself. That confidence might disappear when the mystery partner arrives. Which team would you support, who would be your sole survivor, and what would YOUR dream Survivor Series team look like? Leave your picks in the comments, like the video, and subscribe to WrestleChop for WWE fantasy booking, wrestling opinions, reviews, and deep dives. #WWE #SurvivorSeries #wargames #codyrhodes #WrestleChop

WWE just recycled the EXACT same Money in the Bank cash-in storyline from 2025 on Monday Night RAW! Tiffany Stratton attempted to cash in on Liv Morgan, only for Dominik Mysterio to interfere and save the day. Sound familiar? It should! Same referee, same announcers, same storyline, and practically the same execution. WWE Creative essentially copied and pasted a segment from last year and expected nobody to notice. We're breaking down the similarities between the 2025 and 2026 cash-in attempts, why this feels like creatively bankrupt booking, and whether WWE has simply run out of original ideas. Is Triple H getting lazy with WWE creative? Or is there something more to this repeated storyline? Did Sami Zayn make Roman Reigns' Bloodline GREAT? On WWE Monday Night Raw October 26, 2026, Sami Zayn delivered an incredible promo claiming that The Bloodline was never as good until he became part of it. And here's the crazy part… I think he might actually be right! Tonight's WWE Raw was a tale of two completely different shows. The first hour was absolutely fantastic, with Sami Zayn stealing the spotlight, demanding the respect he deserves, and delivering an amazing match against Jey Uso. But was Sami really responsible for taking Roman Reigns and The Bloodline to another level? Let's not forget just how important Sami Zayn was to one of WWE's greatest storylines. From The Honorary Uce to his relationship with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and The Bloodline, Sami helped create some of the most memorable moments in recent WWE history. We also had an incredible Bayley vs. Liv Morgan street fight that delivered some fantastic action! Unfortunately, things went downhill fast. The second hour of Monday Night Raw was a mess, featuring way too many attempted Money in the Bank cash-ins, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan drama, and a frustrating disqualification finish that left me shaking my head. In this WWE Raw review, we're breaking down Sami Zayn's controversial Bloodline comments, his match with Jey Uso, the best and worst moments of Raw, and why WWE creative can go from absolutely brilliant to incredibly frustrating in the same night. So here's my question: Was Sami Zayn actually the BEST thing that ever happened to The Bloodline? Does he deserve more credit than he's getting? Or is Roman Reigns still the reason that storyline became legendary? Let me know what you think in the comments! But how many of these moments did you actually catch? And now, as Crown Jewel 2026 approaches, their shared history adds an entirely new layer to what they're saying today. We're revisiting their most important moments, emotional confrontations, subtle references, and long-term WWE storytelling to explain why this latest Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn promo means so much more than it might appear. Cody Rhodes fatigue is REAL, and it might finally be setting in across the WWE Universe. Even Cody Rhodes has acknowledged the conversation surrounding Cody fatigue. But is WWE doing anything to fix it?

On WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton should be involved in one of the biggest, most personal, generational rivalries in wrestling history. Two massive stars with years of shared history, and somehow the whole thing just feels... whatever.

And that pretty much sums up last night's SmackDown.

There were some good moments, including Kevin Owens and CM Punk, along with Blake Monroe and Giulia. But overall, the show felt flat. Not necessarily terrible. Just boring. And sometimes boring is worse than bad.

Has Cody Rhodes become too predictable? Is WWE afraid to turn him heel? Has Triple H's creative direction made Cody feel stale? And how do you make fans care about a rivalry that should practically write itself?

We're talking Cody fatigue, Randy Orton, WWE's creative problems, and everything that did and didn't work on Friday Night SmackDown.

Let me know in the comments: Are you suffering from Cody fatigue, or is the American Nightmare still working for you?

WWE SmackDown on October 23, 2026, had some good moments, some okay moments, and a whole lot of boring! Tonight's SmackDown featured Sami Zayn and Trick Williams going face-to-face, Giulia smashing Blake Monroe's head into a mirror, and another confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. There were definitely some highlights, including the Kevin Owens and CM Punk segment and the chaos involving Giulia and Blake Monroe. But was that enough to make SmackDown worth watching? For me, this was an okay show at best. Nothing was necessarily terrible, but too much of it just felt flat. And sometimes boredom is worse than bad booking! In this Wrestle Chop WWE SmackDown review, we're breaking down the biggest moments, the storytelling, what worked, what didn't, and where WWE goes from here. There was A LOT to unpack on AEW Dynamite this week! Ilja Dragunov makes his shocking AEW debut, the Young Bucks get absolutely squashed despite being the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and I'm left wondering what exactly AEW is doing with Will Ospreay. And then there's Blood & Guts. Are we rushing into one of AEW's biggest matches without giving the story enough time to develop? Here's the thing: I actually enjoyed this episode of AEW Dynamite! There was plenty of good wrestling, some big surprises, and a lot worth talking about. But just because I liked the show doesn't mean I don't have questions about some of these booking decisions. In this October 21, 2026 AEW Dynamite review, we're breaking down the surprises, questionable creative choices, and everything else that stood out. Did AEW deliver a great episode of Dynamite, or are some of these stories moving too quickly? Let me know what you thought in the comments! #AEWDynamite #IljaDragunov #AEW #WillOspreay #WrestleChop

A scary moment on WWE SmackDown as R-Truth suffered an apparent legitimate injury during his match with Damian Priest. But in a situation where things could have gone terribly wrong, Damian Priest, the referee, and everyone involved deserve some serious credit for how they handled it. Live television isn't easy, especially when something unexpected happens in the ring. Damian Priest kept his composure, the match was stopped, and the show continued without making an already difficult situation even more awkward. I criticize WWE when I think they deserve it, but I also believe in giving credit where credit is due. Tonight, we're talking about why Damian Priest deserves praise, how WWE handled the situation, and why the people involved showed real professionalism. Most importantly, wishing R-Truth a full and speedy recovery. Nobody wants to see a wrestler get legitimately hurt.
