Jade Cargill Has Fallen Off A Cliff In WWE
Show notes
TEN MONTHS AGO JADE CARGILL ENDED A 301 DAY WORLD TITLE REIGN. NOW SHE IS LOSING SMACKDOWN MAIN EVENTS WITH TWO PEOPLE HELPING HER.
In November 2025 she beat Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship, ending one of the longest reigns of the modern era. At WrestleMania 42 she lost it to Rhea Ripley. At SummerSlam she came up short in the ladder match for the interim title.
Then on the August 7 SmackDown she lost the main event to Charlotte Flair, with B-Fab and Michin interfering on her behalf and losing anyway.
Champion, to challenger, to somebody who needs help at ringside and still cannot win.

Kevin Owens Injured - WHAT's NEXT?
Show notes
Kevin Owens appeared to suffer a knee injury during a WWE live event on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. Footage captured by sports journalist Kevin Bilodeau and posted to X showed Owens being helped toward the backstage area while noticeably limping and unable to put weight on the leg. Bilodeau wrote that Owens had to be helped to the back after suffering an apparent knee injury at the Charleston show. Event reports indicate Owens appeared to hurt the knee early in his match against The Miz, worked through it and finished the match with a Stunner before being assisted backstage. WWE has issued no statement, and the severity of the injury is unknown at this time. The timing is significant because Owens only returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2026 after roughly seventeen months on the shelf with a neck injury that required surgery in July 2025, and he immediately re-entered the main event picture by winning a match over GUNTHER, Sami Zayn and Finn Bálor to become No. 1 contender to CM Punk's Undisputed WWE Championship. This video covers exactly what is known, exactly what is not, and where Owens sits in WWE's current title picture. Why WWE Already Knows Bayley Isn't Leaving
Show notes
Bayley has not appeared on WWE television since losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night's Main Event on July 18 at Madison Square Garden, and with her WWE contract reported to be expiring, speculation about a WWE exit and a possible AEW jump has followed her all summer. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE's continued on-air references to Bayley — including Lyra Valkyria bringing her up on RAW in segments with Sol Ruca and IYO SKY — "pretty much says that they believe it's a lock she will sign a new deal." In this video we break down the Bayley contract situation in full: the timeline of her absence, every on-air mention that has kept her tied to the Lyra Valkyria storyline, why a company writing someone off television would stop saying that person's name, what the AEW and Mercedes Moné speculation is actually built on, and the strongest counterargument that WWE could simply be protecting a storyline either way. Our position is straightforward: Bayley re-signs with WWE. Nothing has been officially confirmed, Bayley has not spoken publicly, and everything reported here is separated between confirmed facts and reporting. WWE news, Bayley contract, Dave Meltzer, Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lyra Valkyria, IYO SKY, Sol Ruca, WWE RAW, AEW free agency.

Mercedes Mone Is Roasting WWE Wrestlers
Show notes
MERCEDES MONE ASKED FANS TO NAME HER DREAM OPPONENTS AND THEN USED THE REPLIES TO ROAST WWE'S ROSTER. She put the question out on social media, asking who people would love to see her wrestle given how many talented women are in the industry right now. Fans flooded the replies with suggestions. Rather than just acknowledging them, she started picking targets. One fan suggested Giulia, and Moné's response is a reference that only works if you watched WWE television earlier this month. Tiffany Stratton caught one too, and it was blunter. All of this from a woman who is eight days out from challenging for a world championship at Wembley Stadium. 0:00 – Introduction: Mercedes Moné Calling Out WWE Stars Ahead of AEW All In 1:35 – Moné Asks Fans for Dream Matches & Targets Giulia 2:15 – The Burn Against Tiffany Stratton ("Show Her What Time It Is") 3:10 – Context: SmackDown Storylines & Giulia's Main Event Status 4:30 – Responding to Ric Flair's Post About Charlotte Flair Being the GOAT 5:44 – Debating the Greatest Female Wrestler of All Time

Britt Baker Has Responded To AEW Request With One Word
Show notes
Britt Baker has responded to a fan who wanted to see her return at AEW All In this weekend, and her answer was a single word. Replying to a beach photo, the fan wrote that they wish she would come back at Wembley, and Baker replied simply "Same" — the same answer she gave on August 20 when another fan said they missed her, and part of a pattern that also includes telling somebody on August 14 that she'd been at the beach. Baker has not wrestled for AEW since November 2024, no official reason has been given for her absence, and Tony Khan has repeatedly said he expects her back without offering a timeline. Back in March, Baker said a return wasn't up to her. We break down why none of these replies are actually the teases they're being reported as, and look at the two dates in September that will say far more about her AEW future than any social media reply — including the Rebel Heart Dynamite on September 9 and a Pittsburgh homecoming on September 30. 0:00 – Britt Baker's 600+ Day Absence from AEW Television 0:40 – The "Same" Social Media Response to Fan Request for All In Return 1:30 – Evaluating Return Opportunities: Rebel Heart Dynamite & Pittsburgh Hometown Show 2:10 – Backstage Reports: Locker Room Friction & Contract Standoffs 3:00 – Analyzing Tony Khan's Contract Strategy for Departing Talent 3:30 – Free Agency Outlook & Potential WWE Interest

WWE Accused Of Lacking Confidence In Sol Ruca
Show notes
Jonathan Coachman believes WWE's confidence in Sol Ruca has taken a hit, pointing to her losing the Women's Intercontinental Championship to Raquel Rodriguez on the July 27 episode of Raw. Speaking on Developmentally Speaking, Coachman argued the title change tells Ruca behind closed doors that the company doesn't believe in her, calling her athletic as hell while describing her moveset as a highwire act. He went further, saying that asking somebody to pull off a pay-per-view move every single match is a problem, noting she has botched a few things, and concluding the belief in her is gone. Ruca made an immediate impression after arriving on the main roster this year, beating Becky Lynch to win the title at Clash in Italy. We break down why one half of his argument is much stronger than the other, and why the strong half isn't actually a criticism of Sol Ruca.

This Is Why Mercedes Mone Really Joined AEW
Show notes
MERCEDES MONE EXPLAINED WHY SHE HAS STAYED IN AEW AND ONE PHRASE IN IT IS AIMED SQUARELY AT HER OLD JOB.
Speaking to The Daily Star, she described her AEW run as amazing, rewarding and freeing, and said it has been the best she has ever been able to perform because of the freedom she has been given.
Then she got specific about what that freedom actually means, and it is not about creative control or match length.
It is about not being told no, and about not being afraid of being told no before you even ask.
Reports have said she and WWE discussed a return in 2023 and no deal came together.
Do you want to see her back in WWE, or is she better where she is?

Bianca Belair Shares Heartbreaking Personal News
Show notes
Bianca Belair has revealed she's dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, opening her Instagram stories update with the line that no one ever talks about this stuff. Belair described her fingers as completely numb, said she has no feeling whatsoever in the finger she had surgery on, no grip strength, and is also dealing with what's commonly called Mom thumb. She has been out of action since injuring her fingers in the WrestleMania 41 triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, returned at WrestleMania 42 when John Cena brought her out to reveal her pregnancy in front of a sellout crowd at Allegiant Stadium, and has since given birth to her and Montez Ford's son. We go through what she said, what these conditions actually involve, and why the accumulation of small injuries is the part of wrestling that almost never gets covered. 0:00 – Bianca Belair's WWE Absence & Post-Pregnancy Status 1:15 – Belair Shares Health Update: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & Severe Numbness 2:30 – Loss of Grip Strength & Concerns Over In-Ring Safety 3:50 – Analyzing Missed Dream Matches (Jade Cargill, Naomi, Rhea Ripley)

The Real Reason Seth Rollins Is Gone
Show notes
Seth Rollins has been absent from WWE television since SummerSlam 2026, and the explanation isn't the one most fans assumed. During an August 24 Q&A session, WrestleVotes was asked about the former World Heavyweight Champion's status and said everything they've been told points to a simple break rather than an injury, describing it as creative. They also offered a rough return window, suggesting it won't be this week or next but somewhere around Money in the Bank. Rollins was last seen on August 2, challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Night Two at SummerSlam, where he came up short. We break down why a planned creative break makes more sense than it sounds, what staying on television after that loss would have cost him, and the honest reason to hold the explanation a little loosely. 0:00 – Status of Seth Rollins: Creative Break vs. Injury Rumors 1:10 – Reviewing Seth's 2025–2026 Main Event Run & SummerSlam Loss 2:15 – Targeted Return Window: Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches 4:00 – Potential Return Promo & Re-entry into the World Title Picture 5:45 – Evaluating Future Opponents: CM Punk, Roman Reigns, & WarGames Options

Paige Involved In Bizarre Incident With WWE Fan
Show notes
SOMEBODY WAS WAITING AT PAIGE'S CONNECTING GATE WITH THIRTY PICTURES TO SIGN. She posted about it on Sunday, calling them airport scalpers and saying they are morphing. Her point was not about signing autographs. She has said repeatedly that she is happy to do that with anybody at any time. The problem is the method, and thirty photographs is the detail that gives it away. This is also not the first time. In November 2025 she described a TikTok video of somebody following her from her gate, filming her from a distance after buying a plane ticket specifically to get past airport security. The line she keeps drawing is the same one every time. 0:00 – Escalating Concerns Over Fan Behavior & Boundary Crossing 0:38 – Paige Teases Incident: 30 Photographs at Connecting Flight Gate 1:10 – Paige's Social Media Statement Calling Out "Airport Scalpers" 1:42 – Retrospective: Past November Incident of Fan Buying Ticket to Stalk Her 2:35 – Highlighting Broader Industry Stalking Incidents (Sonya Deville, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan) 3:50 – Respecting Boundaries & Guidelines for Appropriate Fan Interaction

Paul Heyman Might Steal The Whole Show At Sunday Night's Main Event
Show notes
CODY RHODES SAID FOUR WORDS ON SMACKDOWN THAT BELONG TO PAUL HEYMAN, AND ALMOST NOBODY NOTICED.
Randy Orton laughed off the idea that Cody, a perennial good guy, would be the one to kill the Legend Killer. Cody's answer ended with a phrase Heyman made famous.
Back in May, with Cody's hold on the WWE Championship slipping, Heyman told him that sooner or later they all need The Wise Man.
Cody is now out of title contention while Orton mocks him as a Daydream instead of a Nightmare.
Meanwhile Heyman has already talked Bron Breakker and Oba Femi into settling things in Atlanta, and he had to threaten to drop Breakker as a client to get there.
He might not be leaving with the client anybody expects.

WWE Is Making A Mistake With Tiffany Stratton
Show notes
TWO WEEKS AGO TIFFANY STRATTON GAVE UP A CHAMPIONSHIP TO SAVE A FRIEND, AND WWE HAS DONE NOTHING WITH IT SINCE.
Look at the actual sequence. She traded Jacy Jayne a title shot in exchange for a tag title opportunity for Chelsea Green. She took storyline rib damage stepping in front of an attack aimed at Green. Then she had Jayne set up to finish the match and broke off to save Green from Fatal Influence instead.
That cost her the Women's United States Championship.
This week she lost again, to Lash Legend, and is sliding into a supporting role behind Green.
And the fix being suggested is a heel turn.
That is exactly backwards, and here is why.

Mercedes Mone Drops Another Bayley Hint
Show notes
The post said do you miss HER. No name attached, with HER capitalized. It drew over a hundred replies and more than a thousand likes within hours, and the comments filled up with people naming Bayley, her close friend and former WWE ally.
Bayley has been written off WWE television and recently posted about her own absence.
Now line up everything these two have posted over the last month and count how many concrete statements there are between them. The answer is zero.
And her contract rules out the show everybody keeps pointing at.
Is this a real tease, or the best free marketing in wrestling?

How I’d Book Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan And Becky Lynch
Show notes
EVERYBODY IS BUILDING TO A TRIPLE THREAT FOR THE WOMEN'S WORLD TITLE, AND IT IS THE ONE MATCH THAT CANNOT FINISH THIS STORY.
The case for Stephanie Vaquer is genuinely strong. She held the championship for 210 days. Liv Morgan took it from her at WrestleMania 42 in a match that lasted under seven minutes, with Judgment Day providing the assist. Then on the April 27 Raw, Judgment Day wrote her off television with a shoulder injury that kept her out until August.
She has never lost that title cleanly.
So the argument goes that Vaquer should win it back, and Becky Lynch should absorb the pin because a loss costs her nothing.
But look at what a three way match actually does to a revenge story.
Vaquer or Lynch, and does the triple threat ruin it either way?

Kevin Owens Is Really At Odds With CM Punk
Show notes
KEVIN OWENS WAS ASKED IF HE IS FAKING THE ANIMOSITY TOWARD CM PUNK, AND HIS ANSWER STARTED WITH ONE WORD.
The two collide for the Undisputed WWE Championship on Friday in Toronto with two decades of history behind it, and their recent face to face segments have been genuinely uncomfortable to watch.
FACES Magazine asked him straight out whether he had to manufacture any of it.
He said no, then explained it in a way almost nobody in wrestling ever does. Not hatred. Not betrayal. Something much simpler and much harder to fix.
He also assumed Punk would say exactly the same thing about him.
Is this the most honest wrestling feud on television right now?

Britt Baker Answers If She'll Wrestle Again
Show notes
A FAN ASKED BRITT BAKER IF SHE WOULD EVER WRESTLE AGAIN AND HER FOUR WORD ANSWER IS NOT A TEASE. She posted a beach photo on Instagram. Someone asked the obvious question in the comments. She replied and turned it straight back on them. Baker has not wrestled since November 13, 2024. That is more than 600 days for a former AEW Women's World Champion and one of the first homegrown stars the company ever made. Fightful reports her name still comes up in creative meetings and never gets past the pitch stage. And she has already told fans that putting her on television is not her call. Liv Morgan Gets Called Out Over WWE Women's World Title Reign
Show notes
AN NXT WRESTLER CALLED OUT LIV MORGAN FOR NOT DEFENDING HER TITLE, AND THE RECORD BACKS HER UP. Karmen Petrovic was asked her dream match on the Battleground podcast and named the Women's World Champion immediately, saying she doesn't see Morgan defending that title and would love to tell her to put it on the line. Morgan won the belt from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42 on April 18. Her first televised defense was at SummerSlam. Over a hundred days. Then there's what happened when Morgan went on ESPN's SportsCenter to promote that match. What the network put on screen underneath her is the funniest part of the whole story. She also said out loud what she was willing to do to retain, and then did exactly that.
