You Would Like That
Two friends. Very different movie tastes. Lots of opinions.
You Would Like That is a weekly movie podcast where a self-proclaimed cinephile and a pop culture enthusiast take turns making each other watch movies they love (and the other probably won’t). From film classics to guilty pleasures, we watch, review, argue, and occasionally admit the other person has a point.
Will we change each other’s minds? Probably not. But we’ll have fun trying.

Twilight & The Color of Money - You Would Like That with Sam Shulman and Sara Bullock: A Movie Grid Podcast
Show notes
Martin Scorsese vs. Robert Pattinson. Pool hustlers vs. vampires. An Oscar-winning sports drama vs. one of the most divisive teen romances of the 2000s. Seems like a fair fight.
For our first episode, Sam made Sara watch The Color of Money, a 1986 sports drama directed by the not-late-but-very-great Martin Scorsese. Sara retaliated with Twilight, the 2008 vampire romance that launched a multi-billion-dollar franchise.
We discuss questionable romantic choices, Sara’s disdain for Tom Cruise, Sam’s love for Newman’s Own Mango Tango juice, and whether either of us can admit the other has good taste.
One of us may have actually changed their mind, but you’ll have to listen to find out.
