Annuli Podcast

We kick off this episode with a pretty wild story about a guy who recognized my truck and camper and ended up threatening me. From there, Keren and I dive into all things camper life. After spending 500+ nights living out of our Four Wheel Camper, we've got plenty of thoughts on what we love, what we'd change, and where it falls short. We break down our favorite features, the pros and cons of different camper setups, and what we've learned about choosing the right rig for life on the road and in the backcountry.

After burning 10 points on a mule deer tag in a state I've never hunted, I knew I needed to put some serious time into scouting. In this episode, Keren and I recap our seven-day trip into unfamiliar country, where the goal wasn't necessarily to find big bucks (although we did find some!), but to get the lay of the land. From learning roads and trail systems to figuring out access points and getting a feel for the terrain, this trip was all about building a foundation for the upcoming hunt. We break down what we learned, what surprised us, and why sometimes the most valuable scouting has nothing to do with finding deer.

Keren and I spent 2 years chasing ONE specific buck that we caught 3 years in a row on trail camera. This podcast is a deep dive into that story, which we also made into a Youtube video titled Hunting ONE Buck.

I recently gave a talk at Sitka's Season Kickoff event where I covered 10 unique gear items in my pack and in this Episode Keren and I dive in deep into most of those items including T Mobile Starlink, Backcountry Cook Stoves, Bear Defense, OnX, the best water filters we've found and more. Tune in!

Koby Owens and I deep dive into a week long bear hunt where he photographed and filmed the hunt for Weatherby. We talk about wild encounters, our creative process, where we get inspiration from, music licensing for creators, camera gear favorites and work ethic!
