Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio

Tonight’s first guest, Jeff, spent years driving a semi across the country, and some of his most memorable stops involved much more than getting a little rest. At an Idaho rest area, two dark figures he initially mistook for bears stood up, leaving him waiting for an opportunity to get back to his truck. That night, something repeatedly pounded on his truck and trailer. Jeff will share that experience, along with several other sightings and unsettling incidents from his years on the road and time spent in the outdoors.

Then, in tonight’s second segment, Shawna shares an experience she had while driving home from a high school dance near Cave Junction, Oregon. With four passengers in the vehicle, she watched a muscular, reddish-haired Sasquatch cross the two-lane road in just four steps. For several minutes afterward, no one in the car said a word. She’ll describe what they saw that night and share a strange experience her brother had while fishing that ended with him returning without his shoes.

Tonight’s guest, Arthur Wach, had his first Sasquatch sighting in 1977, when he was 13 years old. He was fishing on the Platte River near Gothenburg, Nebraska, with his dad and brother. Arthur’s dad was about 50 feet down the bank from him, and his brother was about 50 feet beyond their dad.

They had been fishing for a while when Arthur suddenly sensed someone or something walking behind him. At first, he thought it was his dad, because when he looked down the bank, his dad was no longer there. Arthur grabbed his fishing pole and tackle box and headed down a trail through the brush toward the spot where his dad had been fishing.

As he followed the trail, Arthur looked for his dad’s tracks. Instead, he found a series of large, bare footprints leading to the water’s edge. He had no idea what could have left them. When he reached the last print, he lifted his gaze and saw what had made them.

That sighting was only the first of many Sasquatch-related experiences Arthur has had over the years. I hope you’ll tune in to tonight’s show—and when you do, you’d better get comfortable. Arthur has a lot of encounters to share.

Tonight’s guest, Melanie, lives across the road from Croatan National Forest in North Carolina. One night, while walking her dog, she saw a mother mountain lion cross the road in front of her. That piqued her interest because she didn’t know mountain lions were in the area. The next day, she went out to look for tracks. Instead of finding mountain lion prints, however, she found tracks she believed had been left by something she never would have expected to find nearby—a Sasquatch.

Not long afterward, Melanie was walking her dog in Croatan National Forest when she found another set of Sasquatch prints. This time, they appeared to have been left by a juvenile. Melanie had believed in the existence of Sasquatch since 1972, when she first watched The Legend of Boggy Creek, but she never imagined they might be living near her property. Now, she was convinced they were, and the reality of that was about to hit her hard—especially one night when, while watching TV in her bedroom, she heard what she believed was a Sasquatch coming up the stairs inside her house!

Tonight’s second guests, Angel and Jeremy Allen, live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Over the years, the two of them have had numerous Sasquatch encounters. Neither of them was convinced that Sasquatch were out there until they had their first encounter.

Angel and Jeremy had their first sighting in 1999, at Chickasaw National Recreation Area, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. At the time, they were with a group of 10 friends. They had all decided to go night swimming at Little Niagara Falls, and their group was the only one there.

After spending some time swimming, a storm started to blow in, so they packed up and headed to the main parking lot, near the restrooms. After making it to the parking lot, they suddenly noticed a figure standing near the restrooms, under one of the lights. They yelled at the figure, and when they did, it ran off. As they watched it run away into the deep woods. When it did that, they noticed several unusual things about it that told them what they had just seen.

Little did Angel and Jeremy know, that would be just the first of many Sasquatch sightings and encounters they would have in the years to come.

Tonight’s guest, Greg Helton, has been investigating the Sasquatch phenomenon for about 30 years. His first sighting happened in Manitou Springs, Colorado. He was on a cliff face, on the eastern side of Williams Canyon, tossing slate rocks over the edge so he could watch them smash on the ground below. After tossing the third rock, he suddenly noticed a black, furry, humanoid-shaped figure moving to his left. When he focused on the figure, he realized that it was looking back at him. A moment later, he realized it wasn’t alone…

Greg went on to have many more experiences with Sasquatch after that day. Probably the most memorable of those experiences was the time he accidentally peed on one.

Tonight’s guest, Scott Brusch, is a cohost of the Cryptid Wrangler Podcast and the creator of a Facebook group called “Urban Bigfoot.” On the Cryptid Wrangler Podcast, Scott and his fellow cohosts discuss a wide variety of cryptid-related topics. His Urban Bigfoot Facebook group provides a place for Sasquatch eyewitnesses to discuss their experiences, talk about Sasquatch-related topics, and share evidence.

Scott has been fascinated by Sasquatch since he was 6 years old. While he’s had several interesting experiences over the years, including experiences involving a 9-footer in Athens, Ohio, with his fiancée in 2023, his most memorable experience happened one night last summer, while he was filming a Facebook Live session in the field.

That was the night Scott and the viewers watching his livestream witnessed something he calls a “DogSquatch” walk by, just 40 feet from him.

The reason why he’s here is to talk about an app he created to aid Sasquatch investigators and casual researchers. Tonight’s guest, Nick Pool, grew up on a farm in the hills of western Kentucky. As a kid, one of the things he looked forward to most was finally being old enough to deer hunt with his father and brother. His father had promised him that when he turned 11, he'd be old enough to join them.

Bright and early on the second day of deer season, shortly after Nick's 11th birthday, his father walked him out to a tree stand Nick had built in a large section of woods near the family farm. Hidden within those woods was a secluded field, making it an ideal place to hunt. Nick settled into his stand before sunrise, and not long after the sun came up, he began hearing strange sounds. Immediately on high alert, he scanned the woods, trying to figure out what was making them.

It wasn't long before he found out—and what he saw left him in complete shock. Standing before him was a 9-foot-tall Sasquatch!

That incredible encounter wasn't the only experience Nick had with the family of Sasquatch that lived in the woods surrounding his family's farm. Over the years, he had many more encounters with them and eventually came to enjoy seeing them. Years later, however, he had a very different kind of experience—one involving another undocumented creature he encountered on a lonely back road. Unlike his Sasquatch encounters, this one wasn't enjoyable at all. In fact, that encounter is one of the reasons why Nick refuses to be in the woods alone, after dark now.

Two summers ago, tonight’s guest, James, was sitting on the bank of Fellows Lake, near Springfield, Missouri, with his girlfriend when they had an incredible Sasquatch sighting. What made the experience so remarkable wasn’t just seeing the Sasquatches—it was witnessing something they never imagined they would see.

As they sat talking by the water, they noticed two reddish-brown figures standing about 50 yards offshore. At first, James assumed they were two men wearing reddish-brown clothing. It didn’t take long for him to realize that wasn’t the case.

A short time later, the two figures began moving toward shore. After wading out of the water, one of them climbed onto the bank and proceeded to do something James still can’t believe he witnessed. Moments later, the second Sasquatch came ashore and did the very same thing.

In July of 2018, tonight's guest, Mallory, and her boyfriend traveled to the Buffalo National River area in Arkansas to hike to a remote waterfall. Armed with a guidebook that explained how to reach it, they drove several miles down a gravel road to a secluded trailhead before setting out on foot. What was supposed to be a peaceful day in the woods quickly turned into something neither of them could have anticipated. Tonight’s guest, Tim, lives in Florida, but he was born and raised in the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania where he did an extensive amount of hunting, fishing, and trapping. At a young age, Tim joined the U.S. Army and served as an infantryman. While he was serving our country, at Fort Carson, in Colorado, he had his first of 4 Bigfoot sightings. When he had his first sighting, he observed a family of Sasquatch, at a distance, through the optics of a missile-guided anti-tank system that was mounted on the armored personnel carrier he was in, at the time. Little did he know, that was going to be the first of a series of sightings he’d have over the years.
