  1. GT One-on-One with Lianna Mueller

    Season 3, Episode 10

    Show notes

What does it look like to follow God’s leading when you don’t have all the answers?

In this episode of Girl Talk One on One, Nicole D. Miller sits downwith mental health therapist and author Lianna Mueller, for a heartfelt conversation about obedience, creativity, and trusting God through life’s transitions.

Lianna shares the journey behind her newest book, Moving by Faith: When God Says Move, published through ND Miller Publishing. From relocating from the Midwest to Dallas without a job lined up to recognizing meaningful connections between her writing and her life, she reflects on how she experienced God’s guidance and provision.

Together, Nicole and Lianna explore making time for your calling, journaling as a record of God’s faithfulness, and embracing the different gifts He's placed inside you. They also discuss prophetic writing—what Lianna describes aspartnering with God to write from His heart—and how sharing your story can offer encouragement and community.

Whether you’re navigating change, feeling called to write, or waiting for clarity about your next step, this conversation offers encouragement to trust God in the present moment.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    · Learning to recognize God’s voice and respond with obedience.

    · Trusting His timing when the next step doesn’t make sense.

    · Prioritizing writing alongside work, ministry, and everyday responsibilities.

    · Growing in vulnerability through blogging and storytelling.

    · Exploring prophetic writing and creativity with the Holy Spirit.

    · Recording prayers, desires, and answered prayers through journaling.

    · Embracing a multifaceted identity and the connection between writing and healing.
