Koi Keepers Anonymous

We're joined by special guest KT Shanafelt to talk about tyhe challenges and rewards of building a strong koi club and, more importantly, a strong koi community.

We dig into what successful clubs do differently, how to keep memebers engaged, bringing new hobbyists into the fold, organizing events, navigating different personalities, and why local koi clubs still matter to the future of the hobby.

Wheather you're already part of a koi club, thinking about joining one, or trying to breathe some new life into a local organization, there's plenty to take away from this weeks conversation.

When the intros are forgotten, the pond breaks, and the fish still survive… you know it’s a good episode. 😅🐟

In this one, we’re talking koi chaos, filter disasters, “ugly” fish that still steal the show, and why the weird ones are often the most memorable. If you love koi, pond stories, or just a podcast that occasionally turns into complete nonsense, this one’s for you.
