My Bigfoot Sighting

Tonight’s guest, John Allen, was about eight years old when he saw a Sasquatch standing beside a tree on his cousin’s ranch in Northeast Texas. Instead of fear, he remembers feeling an overwhelming sense of peace and excitement. That childhood sighting stayed with him, but it wasn’t until decades later that he began pursuing what he’d wanted all along—a friendship with the beings he calls the “forest people.”

Tonight, John will share experiences spanning more than 12 years, including gift exchanges, what he describes as telepathic conversations, and a moonlit trip deep into the woods with a friend. During that outing, he says they watched dozens of Sasquatch silhouettes appear and fade from view across an open field. He’ll also explain how these experiences shaped his beliefs about Sasquatch and their ability to move between different realities. Tonight’s guest has Bigfoot sightings and encounters regularly these days, but that hasn’t always been the case for her. Before the summer of 2011, she’d never seen a Sasquatch. Since then, she’s had countless sightings and experiences with what she describes as a family of Sasquatch living in the woods around her home.

One member of that family is a juvenile she affectionately calls “Littlefoot.” She's had numerous interactions with him over the years, although she isn’t too sure how much he appreciates that nickname.

Tonight’s guest, Lori Crowson, is a Sasquatch investigator who lives in North Texas. Lori has had seven Bigfoot sightings in four different states. Some got her adrenaline flowing; others were less intense.

Lori had her first Sasquatch sighting in the 1970s, when she was 13 years old. At the time, she was having a picnic with her mother, stepfather, and brother on Mount Evans in Colorado. It was June, but it was still chilly up there. As they enjoyed their lunch, they began hearing strange sounds that reminded them of someone hitting a baseball with a bat. They talked about how unlikely a place it was for baseball practice.

Moments later, large snowflakes began to fall, so they packed up and headed for their car. As they drove down the lane leading from the picnic area to the main road, Lori and her brother sat in the back seat, looking through the rear window toward the picnic area. Tonight’s first guest, Derin Franks, had his Bigfoot sighting in the William B. Bankhead National Forest, in North Alabama, in 2017. It happened on the last day of deer hunting season. Derin had just walked to the edge of a greenfield when he decided to sit down on a log, just inside the tree line. As he sat there, taking everything in, he suddenly heard a limb snap about 12 yards over his right shoulder. When he heard it, he stood up and turned around. When he did, he couldn’t believe his eyes…

Tonight’s second guest, Catman Hero, had his Bigfoot sighting on August 8th, 2016. It happened at a campsite in Middle Tennessee while he was participating in a nighttime field investigation. He was with Randy Hutchings, a very experienced field investigator, and another investigator named Josh.

After arriving at the campsite, the three men walked about two to three miles into the woods before Randy, who was leading the investigation, told Catman and Josh to stop. Randy explained that, when he gave the word, he wanted them to turn on their lights and scan the woods for eyeshine.

When Randy gave the signal, all three men turned on their lights and began scanning the woods. Almost immediately, Randy and Josh noticed something hiding behind a tree branch. At first, Catman couldn’t see it, but that was about to change.

Tonight’s guests, Ray and Lisa Haley, moved to a 3-acre property in the Ozarks of Arkansas back in 2022. For the first year they lived there, nothing unusual happened, largely because they had cleared a significant portion of their property. The following year, however, after letting nature reclaim the cleared land, strange things started to happen.

In the summer of 2023, Ray and Lisa were sitting on their back porch when, all of a sudden, they were hit with a very foul odor that smelled like a mixture of death, skunk, and other nasty things. Just moments after that horrible odor appeared, a very loud, guttural scream rang out.

When they heard the vocalization, they looked at each other with a “What was that?” expression on their faces. It wasn’t long after that before they found out what had been responsible for making that sound.

Since that day, they’ve had ongoing reminders that they aren’t alone on their property. It’s been quite an adjustment for them, knowing they could have an encounter at any time, but slowly, they’re getting used to it.

On May 20th, 2019, at 9:35 AM, tonight’s guest, Matt Lankford, was driving his 18-wheeler south on Highway 84, between Abilene and Coleman, Texas. At the time, he was about two-thirds of the way to Coleman when he looked ahead, to the right side of the highway, and saw what he initially thought was a black bull.

As he got closer to the “bull,” the figure moved a short distance. When it did, it moved in such a strange way that its body seemed to undulate. After seeing it move, Matt began to wonder if what he was looking at might actually be a large, black hog.

As Matt drew closer, however, his perception of the figure changed again. Now, he wondered if it might be a large man wearing a black arctic suit.

When Matt got within a few hundred feet of the figure, though, he realized it wasn’t a man. It was something he had never even considered as a possible explanation for what he was seeing.

It was a Sasquatch!

Tonight’s guest, Phil, has had a multitude of Sasquatch sightings over the years, since having his first one on Thanksgiving Day of 1992. That first experience, however, will always stand out in his mind as one of his most memorable.

That day, Phil had family over at his house for Thanksgiving dinner. Phil was heavily into bodybuilding back then, so he didn’t eat as much as everyone else at the table and finished his dinner first. After finishing, he walked into his family room and looked out through his patio doors. As Phil stood there, admiring what a beautiful day it was, he suddenly realized that a huge Sasquatch was walking across his back lawn.

Phil was awestruck by the size of the Sasquatch. As muscular as he was back then, Phil couldn’t get over how small he still was in comparison to the Sasquatch he was watching walk by…

Tonight’s guest, Randy Hutchings, had his first Bigfoot sighting in 2011, in Middle Tennessee. Randy has been a field investigator since the late 1990s, so by the time he had that first sighting, he’d already put a tremendous amount of time and effort into researching the Bigfoot phenomenon.

Tonight’s guest, Dan Nedrelo, had his first Sasquatch sighting in 2019, but his experiences with them began long before that and took place in several states. In fact, Dan’s first experience happened all the way back in 1971, while he was staying at a church camp in Northern Wisconsin. He didn’t see the Sasquatch that made its presence known that night, but he certainly heard it. It hissed loudly and did various other things to make its presence known.

Little did Dan know, at the time, that experience would be just the first of a long list of encounters he would go on to have with Sasquatch. Even though a bona fide sighting would elude him for many years, eventually, his persistence would pay off, and Dan is glad it did.

It’s been quite the journey for Dan. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him walk you through it.

Tonight’s guest, Travis Simmons, started having Bigfoot experiences at a very young age.

Years later, after moving to Tennessee, Travis finally had his first irrefutable Bigfoot sighting. It happened in 2012, when he was about 33 years old and living in the Knoxville area. At the time, Travis lived in an apartment complex that was in somewhat of a metropolitan area that had woods around it.

Strangely, while he was at work earlier that day, Travis had a bad feeling that something was going to happen when he got home that night. That feeling stayed with him, so when he arrived home after work, he parked as close to his front door as he could. As soon as he opened his car door, he hurried to his apartment and rushed inside.

Once he was safely inside, Travis turned around and stood in the doorway, scanning the complex for any signs of trouble. That’s when he noticed a bush that looked… odd. He focused his attention on it, trying to figure out what was different about it.

Then, the “bush” started to stand up.

As Travis watched, it kept getting taller and taller until the massive figure stood over 10 feet tall…

Tonight’s first guest, Kevin Frankenfield, is a hunting and fishing guide who had his Bigfoot sighting in Washington State, in November of 2023. When his sighting happened, he was working in the Deer Park Area. The morning his sighting happened, Kevin had woken up early, the way he normally does, and was on the phone with his girlfriend. When his dog woke up, instead of chomping at the bit to be let out, so he could run around Kevin’s property, to see what he could get into, he jumped up on Kevin’s bed and curled himself around Kevin’s neck. That unusual behavior wasn’t lost on Kevin. The next thing Kevin knew, his dog jumped off his bed, turned around, and hid under it. Not knowing what to make of his dog’s strange behavior, Kevin started looking to see if anything unusual was going on outside. That’s when…

Tonight’s second guest, James Braden, moved down to Ringgold, Georgia in the summer of 1999. Not long after moving into his new home, with his family, he heard a loud vocalization that couldn’t be easily explained away. He wasn’t the only one in the area who heard it. His neighbor heard the vocalization too. In fact, the vocalization was so loud, both James and his neighbor could actually feel it.

Then, one day, in the Fall of 2000, James drove to Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to return some videos to Blockbuster, with his daughter. By the time they were on their way back home, a fog had rolled in, so James was being extra careful, because he was afraid a deer might jump out in front of his truck. Suddenly, he saw a huge, light gray figure come out of the woods the road he was on was cutting through…

Tonight’s guests, Annette and Kim, have had several Bigfoot encounters, all of which happened in the state of Oregon. Annette had an early start, when it came to her Bigfoot sightings. She had her first sighting in the fall of 1969. That experience happened at a two-level fort that she and the neighborhood kids used play in, two doors down from where Annette lived back then. That day, after walking down to the property where the fort was, Annette hadn’t been paying attention to her surroundings. She had been looking at the ground in front of her, mostly, as she walked down to the fort. When she got close to the fort, she looked up and when she did, she saw the most amazing thing. She saw that a group of 4 juvenile Sasquatch were on the fort! We hope you’ll tune in and listen to Annette share the details of this encounter and others she’s had. Tonight’s first guest, Josh, had his first Bigfoot sighting around 2002, in Davis County Kentucky. At the time, he was helping his uncle clear a treeline on a property he owned with his bulldozer. The property had a lot of hills and deep ravines, because his property was close to where the Ohio River river bottoms started. Josh and his uncle had been working for some time when, all of a sudden, Josh heard a tremendous roar ring out behind him. The roar was so loud, it was easy to hear over all the noise his uncle’s bulldozer was making. Josh turned to look for the source of the sound and saw animals scattering, so he knew he wasn’t the only one who had heard the roar. Not knowing what to make of it, he turned back and continued watching his uncle operate the bulldozer. About 10 minutes later, Josh felt a creepy feeling coming over him, so he turned around again to see if he could determine what might have been causing that. When he turned to look, his eyes fell upon an old barn that was sitting just inside the tree line and 50 to 60 yards behind him. To his shock, standing in the doorway of the barn was a huge figure, leaning out of the doorway, looking right at Josh. Immediately, Josh told himself that what he was looking at didn’t exist in Kentucky. You could only find Sasquatch in the Pacific Northwest. His eyes told him a different story, however…

Tonight’s second guest, Jason Monk, had his Bigfoot sighting in 1994, about 10 miles south of Samson, Alabama. You see, when he was 16 years old, his step-dad and his uncle used to take him deer hunting in a stand of woods close to the Florida line, just north of the Pea River. When Jason, his step-dad, and uncle went to that stand of woods to scope it out, before season started, they would notice strange things. One day, in December, a few weeks before Jason’s 17th birthday, Jason had fallen asleep in his tree stand. The tree he was in was swaying in the breeze that day. Considering how drowsy Jason was, from being up before the crack of dawn, that just helped an already drowsy kid fall asleep. Jason doesn’t know how long he had been asleep when, all of a sudden, he heard a loud snap, like something was coming through the reeds. When Jason snapped his eyes open, he couldn’t believe what he saw staring at him from about 40 yards away.
