Nearly a full house with the exception of Jensen, we are joined for a terrific interview by talented Belgian Modeler Marijn Van Gils to talk about Diorama Modeling, publishing, his thoughts on creativity and what makes a model show great.

We also get updates from everyone on their SMC projects and seek advice on when life if good, but it becomes difficult to complete projects at the bench!

Unfortunately Grant and Jensen are out for this latest installment of the Triple P. We are joined by longtime Posse Community Member and Supporter Terry Wilkinson. Terry hops into a seat with the guys and we also interview Terry about his modeling, influences, and background, as well as his own modeling and clubs in Pennsylvania.

We also spend the bulk of our time discussing questions, suggestions, and other feedback submitted by our Deputy Marshalls and Posse Foremen. We discuss far reaching topics such as Social Media overload, AMPS, When a model is actually finished, Guests and Topic suggestions, and more! All submitted to us by our Patreon members!

TJ is out this episode but the rest of the gang is here and raring to go! JB leads us into a discussion point about saving 2026 from a crazy year of Life getting in the way of our mutual bench modeling output. We talk about models we like on the PPP facebook group, and give updates on what we have all been up to.

Our featured guest is Robert Crombeecke, founder and principal of Scale Model Challenge. (SMC) We talk all things SMC with Robert - including why it was started and what the show is working towards.

Lots of announcements here - the 2027 installment of the Rocky Mountain Expo has an official date, we pay tribute to Stewart Bailey, a generous modeler and historian who will be missed, we update Moosearoo 2026 and announce the kit and the Posse builder, and more!

All 5 of us are back! Jensen leads us as we catch up, and we discuss two thought provoking topics: Does AI have a place in the Hobby? What is that place and why is there so much AI Slop out there?

Also, what is your Leaning Tower of Pisa? A model that you know is flawed but you finished it anyway and lived with it as less than perfect?

Jensen is missing, so four of the five of us are here for a fun, straightforward (albeit shorter) episode on Models and Model Show trends in the hobby. Are artistic models ruling the roost in 2026, or do more realistic models own the day? Why? What are some of the factors that cause the hobby to lean one way or the other?

Also, Scott talks about the Upcoming Rocky Mountain Expo being held this weekend May 22/23, 2026 in Salt Lake City, UT. Why is RME different and what are more of the core values that make it unique compared to other shows in the US?

JB leads all 5 of us as we talk about the upcoming 2026 Edition of the 48 in 48 Global Group Build and fundraiser to benefit Models for Heroes the weekend of March 20, 2026. We also do a Modelfiesta Wrap Up, talk about our visits to The Model Box in Boerne, Texas and Lionheart Hobby in Kyle, Texas, and finally a summary of a GREAT model show - Winterblitz - located at the Museum of the American GI in College Station.

JB also leads us in two discussion points - lessons learned when moving across different genres, and also why are Vintage kits so popular? All of the hosts have strong opinions on this one, and that end of things, one side prevails - either the practicality or new, better kits, or the nostalgia and romance of vintage kits. Tune in to see which side came out on top!

Join all 5 of us plus very special guest Scott Samo AKA Nemo from the Modelgeeks joins in the fun. We talk about the upcoming 2026 Edition of the 48 in 48 Global Group Build and fundraiser to benefit Models for Heroes the weekend of March 20, 2026. We also get serious and do a deep dive into each of the hosts "why" - why this hobby? What keeps each of us coming back to it over other pursuits.

JB and Scott have a terrific interview with Boyd Brown, AKA the Quiet Corner Modeler, and we cover a wide range of topics and just generally have a great time!

Just three of us this time out as we discuss our 3 most desired kit subjects. We also discuss a double helping of models we love on the Plastic Posse facebook page, talk about our benches, and also recent acquisitions. We also go over several 2026 early season model shows.

All five of us have some great discussions around 2 central topics - "What do you do when you have Mojo, but can't seem to find the passion for your next project?" and JB disagrees with Rob Riv on the most important part of a model - the details of the build versus the finish of the build.
