Podcast Rock City

This could go in so many directions let's talk about what we are hoping to see in VEGAS!

We always hear about AC/DC and their sound and how it really has not changed much over the years. With that being said should KISS have just pulled an AC/DC and stayed straight ahead rock and roll and never taken a chance with "style change"?

Do you think LICK IT UP would have been just as successful if KISS had left the makeup on?

This week we have a guest host as well as A TON TO TALK ABOUT!

I have been racking my brain with how to describe what we talked about in this interview. How about.. The New Lineup, the classic lineup, Duct taping fans to the Marshall amps, fans vomiting on stage, sex acts on stage, playing with a monkey, trying out for KISS, what it was like in the loft where KISS rehearsed, meeting Dee, why the New York Dolls Suck, Led Zeppelin, Bowie and a ton more! Just sayin he was so much fun and high energy to listen to and I had to take a nap after. We hope you enjoy!

Streamed live 15 hours ago

Robert V. Conte comes on to tell us about the 30th Anniversary of You Wanted the Best You Got the Best and we cant wait to hear about Joey's 1st show with Twisted Sister!

It's now been a few years since KISS sold EVERYTHING!! And we wanted to ask the question. Are the new released albums and merchandise keeping the KISS ARMY happy?

Is side 1 or side 2 better on each of the 1st 8 records? We got a email from a viewer and they wanted a SWEET 16 episode and we are on it! What will be battling for the top spots in the SWEET 16's we do today?

This week on Podcast Rock City Live we have Tommy London! Musician and host of Ozzy's Boneyard from Sirius XM Radio to talk about KISS and events like KISS KRUISE VEGAS!

The KISS ARMY has lot's of ladies in it. Some have been in the army a long time and some are ew to it. Let's talk to some of them this week and see why they love the band so much?

We have been asked by KISS KRUISE 26 to cover all 4 days of their event this year ! We are going to give you the details of what we'll be doing as well as showing you the newly released Kruise schedule. It's also our 13th Birthday of doing PRC so we will of course get into that a bunch as well. So tune in tonight @ 7pm est for this LIVE KISS ARMY CELEBRATION!!

This week we talk abut the new release from KISS and what we would like to see next and changes to what we have now.

With such a long career KISS has a lot of years to choose from as far as what was their best. But does it go without saying that 1976 as absolutely that year?

Went to the NJ Horror con and Film Festival and had a quick sit down with Peter Criss. He had a few minutes while on a break so we chatted.

This week we discuss when KISS will put out the NEW SONG Gene Simmons recently said they recorded.

So this week we talk about the Peter Criss NJ HORROR CON EXPO appearance and the KISS KRUISE!

So Ace's birthday is April 27th, and we decided to have a celebration with our new friend Space Frehley! His Ace Tribute Show has been the talk of KISS fans all over and we wanted to take the opportunity to talk with him not only to see how his show came about but also to talk about our love for the Space Man Ace Frehley!

Well the INDY KISS FAN EXPO has come and gone and we will get into just how well it went. Pus we had RECORD STORE DAY releases rom both KISS and BRUCE KULICK! AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH we got a NEW KISS KUISE VEGAS ANNOUNCEMET!

THANK YOU for joining me in THE KISS ROOM!

Hello Podcast Rock City fans! This is Matt Porter from THE KISS ROOM.
IF you're wondering why this issue of THE KISS ROOM popped up in your feed, it's because Joe and the PRC team have been kind enough to let me share this with you on here.
I lost my iTunes/Apple Music access for THE KISS ROOM at the end of 2023 and have been locked out ever since. But I never stopped broadcasting! You can still find me live via Montco Radio and posting the replays on https://www.thekissroom.com/, as well as other streaming channels... just not iTunes/Apple Music.
I never left, I am just harder to find!
I have never stopped broadcasting, including the latest issue of THE KISS ROOM which features my guest, "The Record Spinner", Dylan Peggin, plus THE KISS ROOM HOUSE BAND and more.
Thanks again to JOE and the PRC Fam.
Check me out on https://www.thekissroom.com/
Thanks!
Matt
