In 1909 the Arizona Gazette reported a cave city cut into the Grand Canyon, with tunnels, mummies and Egyptian-style artifacts. Then the story disappeared. Episode 97 of Questioning Everything goes deep on the great World's Fairs, those massive, beautiful palace cities we're told went up in a couple of years out of "temporary" plaster, only to burn or get torn down right after. We go through the construction photos, the fire pattern that keeps showing up, and the questions the official narrative never really answers.

We start at London 1851 and the Crystal Palace, all the way to the 1936 fire that Churchill called the end of an age. Then it's Philadelphia 1876, with Bell's telephone, Heinz and the Statue of Liberty's arm on display, then Paris 1889 with the Eiffel Tower, the Galerie des Machines and the human zoos. We finish in Chicago 1893, the White City, supposedly built on a swamp in about two years.

We only got through half the list, so Part 2 is coming: Buffalo 1901, St. Louis 1904, San Francisco 1915, the incubator babies and the orphan trains. This one is very visual, so catch the full video on YouTube if you're listening here.

The Missing Thousand Years: Who Rewrote Our Timeline? | QE Ep 96

On this solo episode of Questioning Everything, Jake went through the stones carved with J746, J787 and J725 and asked a simple question. In Latin, Jesus was IESUS, and I and J were once the same letter. So was that first "digit" really a 1, or did it mean "the year of Jesus"? From there he covered how the AD count was invented by one monk in 525, the missing year zero, the Donation of Constantine and other admitted forgeries, and Scaliger and Petavius building the timeline. Peter Forhan came back for Episode 95 of Questioning Everything, and for the first time we took the show outside, live. It was high noon on a rooftop in Shenzhen, China, and Peter brought a lens that concentrates sunlight a thousand times to show what "sunfire" can do.

Peter exploded a chunk of pyrite (it made both of us jump), melted pewter into a shot-glass mold and turned it into a little tin "goose," and heated obsidian until a single tap split it, his case for how the old world could have quarried and shaped stone without lasers. We also covered Prometheus, Roman self-healing concrete and stone worked at the "wax" stage. He showed how a hidden lens can make anyone look like a wizard, and we compared notes on moonlight reading about 4 degrees colder.

When the clouds rolled in, we moved to Peter's theory that Rome crossed the Atlantic, the Washington statues, and a one-star flag in the Maryland State House painting. We closed on the Eye of the Sahara: Plato's ringed Atlantis west of the Pillars of Hercules, and what looks like a flood path running out to the Atlantic.

Brian of The Demon Erasers came back for Episode 94 of Questioning Everything, live. His first visit (Ep 75, "Satan's Little Season") became one of our most-watched shows, and he left a lot of doors open. We covered the headless saints of the old hagiographies, an 1837 magazine that mentions a "lapse of more than 2,000 years," and an 1812 medal that reads "the Messiah has reigned." Episode 92 of Questioning Everything, Open Lines Friday. Jake opened with a tribute to Bears legend Mike Ditka, then announced that the Atlas paperback is officially out and explained the new subscriber book giveaway. He read the first Dear Dreamer letter: Jim from Buffalo asked about Lake Erie beach glass and the granite breakwalls in every big Great Lakes city.

From there the night went into the October 8, 1871 fires (Chicago, Peshtigo, Manistee, Holland and more), the O'Leary cow story vs. the comet theory, and fire photos showing very little fire damage. Episode 91 of Questioning Everything. Peter Forhan came back for Part 2, joining us from the other side of the world, and this time we finally got to the demonstrations we ran out of time for in Episode 84.

Peter showed a mirror hanging from a magnet that never falls, a bismuth crystal that grew itself into a pyramid, a lens and a phone light "pinning the light of the sun to a cross," and a piece of metal he melted in under 10 seconds of Puerto Rican sun with a handheld lens. We talked about Hero of Alexandria's sun-powered fountain, the solar constant, Tesla's rotating magnetic field, Viktor Schauberger, why the aether left physics, light as the whirlpool and matter as the knot, a whirlpool at the North Pole, the Mandelbrot "worlds" image, Peter's proof of divinity, mercury into gold in 1941, the Eight Wonders of the World painting that shows the pyramids as obelisks, melting stone to pour the old world, and what may have burned in the Library of Alexandria. We closed on the 155th anniversary of the Great Fires of 1871.
