#54 - Stop Trying to Make Communism Happen
Show notes
Rep. Kat Cammack (FL-03) welcomes Rep. Rudy Yakym (IN-02) back to Right to the Point for an exclusive interview on the Working Families Tax Cut and the choice the American people face between Republican and Democrat control of Congress. Together they highlight wins like No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, tax relief for seniors, full expensing for new factories, and a permanently Enhanced Child Tax Credit, and make the case for running on the Republican record over Democrat rhetoric.
The pair also discuss the new America.gov website, the Stop Insider Trading Act that 198 Democrats voted against, Yakym's great-grandfather’s escape from Communism in Eastern Europe, the DSA agenda creeping across his northern border, and the hundreds of billions in fraud and improper payments that Republicans are working to stop.

#53 - We'll Need to See Some ID
Show notes
Rep. Bryan Steil (WI-01), Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, welcomes Rep. Mary Miller (IL-15) and Rep. Greg Murphy (NC-03) to Right to the Point for a conversation on election integrity and the fight to make sure American elections are decided by American citizens. Together they make the case for the SAVE America Act and the MEGA Act, preview the committee’s hearing with ActBlue’s CEO as its investigation enters a third year, and explain why commonsense protections like photo ID and citizenship verification should be the standard in every state.
Steil recalls being carded for a six-pack on his way home from a floor debate over voter ID and walks through how current law in Washington, D.C. allows non-citizens, including foreign embassy staff, to vote in local elections. Miller reveals she has received four ballots addressed to two different people at her D.C. apartment despite never registering there, and Murphy shares the story of a patient who had multiple absentee ballots mailed to his new home. The three also discuss California’s late-arriving ballots and one-site count in Los Angeles County, why cleaning up voter rolls matters, and how Georgia’s election law proved its critics wrong.

#52 - The Silence of the Scams
Show notes
Rep. Brad Finstad (MN-01) welcomes Rep. Morgan Griffith (VA-09), Chair of the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee, for his first appearance on Right to the Point to expose the fraud draining billions from Medicare, Medicaid, and American taxpayers. Together they show how Republicans are shutting down the schemes that Democrats let run unchecked, and why it’s time to silence the scams for good.
Griffith explains how a Los Angeles hospice scheme stole seniors’ identities and left them unable to see their own doctors, while one region of California ended up with roughly 30 percent of the nation’s hospice agencies. He shares what an Energy and Commerce investigation found about weak oversight in Democrat-run states, including Minnesota. He also recounts driving to an address in his district for a company that received millions of dollars and finding no company there. The two also discuss Finstad’s National Fraud Enforcement Division Act, Clear-style identity verification for Medicare and Medicaid, AI-powered audits, and a plan to let states keep a bigger share of the fraud money they recover.

#51 - Democrats Have Never Seen a Paycheck They Didn’t Want to Tax
Show notes
Rep. Beth Van Duyne (TX-24), Chair of the RSC Budget and Spending Task Force, is joined by Rep. Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) in this episode of Right to the Point to highlight the historic victories within the Republican-led Working Families Tax Cuts Act. Together they draw the contrast between a party that keeps its promises and one that blocks them at every turn.
Haridopolos explains how Republicans restored trust by securing the border, delivering no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security, and stopping a 22 percent tax hike without a single Democrat vote. He reminds listeners that Democrats controlled every branch of government in 2021 and 2022 and chose to raise taxes instead. Van Duyne shares what a DOJ fraud expert told her about the Biden administration putting speed over verification. The two also break down the $27 billion Green New Deal giveaway, the Trump Accounts, and the $10 billion investment keeping Kennedy Space Center number one in space.

#50 - The Rig Is Up: Shifting Gears and Putting the Brakes on CDL Fraud
Show notes
Rep. Josh Brecheen is joined by Rep. David Rouzer of North Carolina in this episode of Right to the Point to break down the crackdown on CDL fraud and the illegal aliens who ended up behind the wheel of 84,000-pound big rigs because of failed Democrat policies.
Rouzer explains how a wide open border and COVID-era self-verification in blue states created a perfect storm of CDL mills handing out licenses like candy. He shares the story of Dalilah Coleman who suffered life-altering injuries in a crash caused by a driver licensed in California, and walks through Dalilah’s Law, his bill to codify the Trump administration’s new standards on legal status and English proficiency. Brecheen, a Class A CDL holder himself, adds a trucker’s perspective, and the two dig into Secretary Duffy’s shutdown of 110 fraudulent trucking schools, the Freedom Haulers program for veterans, and how Republicans secured the border through the Working Families Tax Cuts.

Show notes
In this must-listen episode, Rep. Vince Fong (CA-20) is joined by fellow California Republican Rep. James Gallagher (CA-01) to break down the three W's, waste, water, and wildfire, and expose what might be the most ambitious heist in American history, one happening in none other than Sacramento.

#46 - After the Towers Fell, A Generation Answered the Call
Show notes
Rep. Matt Van Epps is joined by fellow Army helicopter pilot and Congressman Gabe Evans to mark 25 years since September 11th and trace how that day reshaped their lives and the country's approach to national security.
Both Members remember exactly where they were that morning, Van Epps as a freshman at West Point watching the second plane hit on a classroom TV, Evans as a 15 year old glued to the living room television, and they walk through how 9/11 set the course for their eventual service as Army aviators in Iraq and Afghanistan.
They trace the roots of al Qaeda back through Desert Storm, the first World Trade Center bombing, and the Afghan-Soviet war, then connect that history directly to the failures of the Obama-Biden and Biden-Harris administrations, from Benghazi to the disastrous Abbey Gate withdrawal that killed 13 U.S. service members and 170 civilians.

#45 - Socialism's Greatest Hits Include a Famine
Show notes
In this episode, Rep. Claudia Tenney is joined by fellow New York Republican Rep. Nicole Malliotakis to break down the rise of socialism and left wing extremism in America.
Drawing on her mother's experience fleeing Communist Cuba in 1959, Malliotakis explains why Socialism is Communism light, the baby steps of rationing, price controls, and eroding freedoms that pave the way to full blown Communism. She and Tenney trace that playbook through Venezuela's collapse under Chavez and Maduro, and connect it directly to the DSA backed candidates now winning primaries across the country, including Zohran Mamdani's platform of government run supermarkets and abolishing private property. They also dig into the DSA's broader agenda, from abolishing the Senate to defunding the military, and lay out how Republicans are fighting back with secure borders, historic tax cuts, and a rollback of Biden-era spending.

#43 - Caitlin Clark Takes the Hits While the WNBA Takes a Pass
Show notes
In this episode, Rep. Erin Houchin is joined by Rep. Sheri Biggs as they discuss the RSC's letter demanding accountability from the WNBA for the physical attacks targeting the league's star player Caitlin Clark.
Houchin and Biggs break down the pattern of on-court violence Clark has endured, from being hip-checked and poked in the eye to being struck in the throat, along with the online harassment that has followed her off the court. They discuss why the letter warns of potential action from the Department of Justice, the Department of Labor, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission if the WNBA continues to look the other way.
They also connect the moment to the broader fight Republicans are leading to protect fairness and safety in women's sports, and call out Democrats for defending policies that let men compete in women's spaces even as one of the league's biggest stars is targeted and the WNBA stays silent.
