  1. The Mythical Holga Week Judging of 2020

    Episode 587

    Show notes

As the shooting period for this years Holga Week closes we're finally going to release the tapes of the one and only time we recorded our judging process, back in the year that was 2020. Clare Marie Bailey, Graeme and the wonderful and eternally missed John Whitmore embark on a test of their endurance, patience and friendship as they attempt to pick a winner they can agree on from a field of 155 great shots.

It isn't a "proper" podcast by any measure, but if you're interested in hearing how we approached the judging process, and more importantly in the mood for some truly classic Clareness, Graeme convincingly portraying an exasperated tyrant and best of all, John being John then this might be for you.

Want to see the pictures we were discussing so you can decide how wrong we were? Head over here then! https://holgaweek.com/2020/?cat=Street

Many thanks to the fine folks at Holga Week for continuing to involve us to this day their wonderful event - https://holgaweek.com/

  2. Ep. 379 Together Apart

    Episode 586

    Show notes

We really wanted to have a proper catch up this week with the three of us, but you know, timing, so whilst we're all here it's not necessarily at the same time. Nonetheless in true back to school style we get to talking about what got up to over the Summer months, from shooting work for future exhibitions to visiting exhibitions already worked on, shooting film that was older than ideal, shooting film so new we can't even talk about it - it's been a Summer! Apologies for Graeme's sub par audio - never use a new untested mic...

  4. Ep. 377 Happy Birthday to Us!

    Episode 584

    Show notes

Holy Cow where did the time go? This month marks 10 years since two naïve youngish men thought it would be a fine idea to put out a podcast about film photography. Somehow 10 years later that's still the case (apart from the youngish bit).

Join us as we celebrate in the best way by getting the gang back together for a good old ramble.

Foremost thing to know is that Rachel is suffering from a condition called FND which impacts her in many ways, including quite obviously her speech. She talks about this in the show, but to learn more go here: https://www.fndaction.org.uk/what-is-functional-neurological-disorder/
