  1. Ep. 262: DRY AS HELL & SCARED TO DEATH! | Halloween Special

    Season 1, Episode 262

    Show notes

It's Halloween week on Talk Dirt To Me, and things get weird in a hurry!

Logan kicks things off with the joys of getting older and the kind of random back pain that'll make a grown man question his existence. Bobby Lee offers to shoot a laser into his back at the veterinary clinic, which somehow turns into a conversation about Bobby Lee's suspicious enthusiasm for euthanizing animals. Don't worry, we're kidding. Mostly.

From there, we get into some actual farming talk. Logan breaks down his ongoing trackhoe fiasco, the absolutely outrageous cost of heavy equipment repairs, and the million-dollar question: When do you quit fixing an old machine and just buy another one? Bobby Lee also discusses the historic drought gripping our area, where it's officially dry as a popcorn fart.

Then it's time for our HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!

We're counting down our Top 3 Horror Movies of All Time, which proves difficult for Logan, who could've easily made a Top 20 list, and Bobby Lee, who apparently has only seen three scary movies in his entire life.

Next, we play Tennessee Hauntings: REAL or MADE UP? Logan reads some bizarre, creepy tales from across Tennessee, and they have to figure out which ones are actual folklore and which are complete bullshit. We also get into unexplained experiences on the farm, whether we believe in ghosts and the supernatural, and what might really be lurking out there after dark.

We wrap things up with our Made in USA segment and one final question that'll make you think:

Would you rather know the exact DAY you're going to die or the WAY you're going to die?

Before we sign off, we've got one serious message: GET OUT AND VOTE! Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd. Brave men and women have fought and died defending the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, including our right to participate in our democracy. If you haven't voted yet, please, for the love of God, exercise that right. We also discuss Tennessee's Amendment Number 2 and urge Tennesseans to vote YES on it.

If you're new around here, we're Logan and Bobby Lee Hanks, first cousins, farmers, and the hosts of Talk Dirt To Me. We talk agriculture, real life, and whatever else comes to mind. Nothing is off limits, and we guarantee we'll have a good time doing it.

Happy Halloween from The Lethal Weapon of Ag Podcasts!

  2. Ep. 261: Broken Headers, $8 BILLION & Starting From NOTHING!

    Season 1, Episode 261

    Show notes

Harvest 2026 has finally reached an end, and what a complete circus it's been! What started out looking like a promising crop quickly went downhill as yields took a beating. And just when Logan thought he was about to cross the finish line, everything seemed to go to hell. TWO broken draper headers, having to borrow his dad's header just to finish, and somehow managing to run a nearly 12-FOOT piece of rebar into the combine with only 40 acres left to harvest!

We also dive into the proposed $8 billion in farm relief and give our thoughts on government assistance. We've never been shy about our concerns with government payments, but with farmers getting hammered by rising fuel costs and shrinking margins, what other realistic options are there to provide immediate relief? We discuss why, despite our reservations, something has to give.

Then we switch gears and get a little personal. After plenty of requests from listeners, we're finally sharing our origin stories! How did Logan and Bobby Lee get their starts in agriculture? Neither of us inherited a turnkey operation or started with deep pockets. We talk about building our own independent farming and cattle operations from practically nothing, utilizing USDA Beginning Farmer loans, and the struggles, and risks involved.

From equipment disasters and the harsh realities of farming in 2026 to the stories of how we got here, this episode covers a little bit of everything.

  3. Ep. 260: Who's Squeezing America's Farmers? USDA's Stephen Vaden Talks Competition & Costs

    Season 1, Episode 260

    Show notes

Why does it feel like everybody in agriculture is making money except the farmer?

U.S. Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Stephen Vaden joins Logan and Bobby Lee in studio for a straight-talking conversation about the issues hitting America's farmers hardest and what Washington is doing about them. A fellow West Tennessean with deep family farming roots, Vaden brings an inside perspective on the fight for more competition, lower input costs, and a stronger future for rural America.

We dig into equipment manufacturer investigations, right to repair, dealer restrictions, and why farmers should have more control over the machines they own. Vaden also explains the push to bring new competitors into the fertilizer market and when he thinks that added supply could start making a difference.

We cover mandatory country of origin labeling, the farm bill holdup, USDA reorganization, and a question we've all wrestled with: Are American farmers too good at growing crops? Plus, we talk biofuels, export markets, and how USDA comes up with the crop report numbers that can send commodity prices sideways.

And because this is Talk Dirt To Me, we squeeze in our Top 3 books and a Made in USA conversation featuring American-grown cotton and a Tennessee pencil company.

Big questions, candid answers, and plenty of laughs with one of the highest-ranking agriculture officials in the country.

  4. Ep. 259: Who Really Owns American Agriculture?!

    Season 1, Episode 259

    Show notes

Who really owns American agriculture, and does it even matter?

This week on Talk Dirt To Me, Logan and Bobby Lee dive into some major developments shaking up the agriculture industry. The USDA and FTC are taking a closer look at the farm equipment industry, while the DOJ and USDA are turning their attention to competition and pricing in the seed business. Are farmers finally getting some answers about the rising costs of doing business?

We also discuss the Trump administration's temporary red diesel relief, allowing qualifying farmers to use dyed diesel on public highways, and what that could mean for producers battling high fuel costs.

Then things get interesting. Did you know Bill Gates, through his investment interests, owns nearly 9% of John Deere? That discovery sends us down a rabbit hole about who actually owns America's agricultural equipment companies. We highlight some of the companies still under family ownership, including Kinze, Vermeer, Sukup, Priefert, and our partners at Y-TEX.

But that leads to an even bigger question: What the hell actually qualifies as a family farm? Everybody claims to support family farms, but some of the biggest farming operations in America are still family-owned. So why do we celebrate family farms until they become successful enough to be considered "Big Ag"?

Does size matter? Does ownership matter? Or should we judge agricultural businesses by how they operate rather than how big they've become?

We're tackling all of it with our usual unfiltered opinions, plenty of laughs, and a healthy dose of common sense.

  5. Ep. 258: Dr. Death Could've Done It Better!

    Season 1, Episode 258

    Show notes

Well, this one got dark in a hurry.

We kick things off with an update from the field and the absolute header fiasco that somehow ended with Logan running a 40-foot John Deere draper in the middle of soybean harvest. We break down what happened to the MacDon, the scramble to keep harvest moving, thoughts on the Deere versus MacDon, and just how much progress we've managed to make despite all the chaos.

From there, we get into the Trump and Xi meeting, China buying American grain, and whether anything meaningful actually came out of it for U.S. farmers.

Then things take a hard left.

Tennessee just attempted to execute its first woman in more than 200 years... and she didn't die. Naturally, this leads to a lengthy discussion about lethal injection, what actually constitutes a "humane" execution, and why Bobby Lee, AKA Dr. Death, apparently wasn't consulted despite years of experience putting animals down.

That conversation somehow inspires one of our darkest Top 3s yet: If you HAD to be executed, what are your Top 3 ways to go? From the guillotine to going out like a gladiator, things get ridiculous fast.

We also welcome two new partners to the Talk Dirt To Me family, Y-Tex and FerAppease!

Broken headers, harvest progress, China, failed executions, gladiators, and questionable medical expertise. Just another week on Talk Dirt To Me.

  6. Ep. 257: Could We Actually Survive the Terminators?

    Season 1, Episode 257

    Show notes

Harvest is rolling, so we kick things off with a look at harvest progress across the country and what we're seeing in our own fields. We also get into corn and soybean prices, rising production costs, and whether today's commodity prices are actually enough to leave farmers with money in their pockets.

From there, we talk about President Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, what renewed trade with China could mean for American agriculture, and somehow wander our way into government, politics, and the general state of the world.

Then Top 3 sends the entire episode completely off the rails.

The question: What weapons are you choosing when the Terminators show up?

What follows is an increasingly ridiculous discussion about fighting robots, surviving an AI takeover, whether humanity actually stands a chance, and the slightly uncomfortable question underneath all the madness: Is an AI-driven future like this really as impossible as we'd like to think?

We started with harvest and soybean prices. We ended up fighting Terminators.

  7. Ep. 256: Is farming so different across the US?

    Season 1, Episode 256

    Show notes

We're back for round two LIVE from the Helena booth at the Farm Progress Show! This time, we're joined by Helena product managers Mark Christianson and Paul Sauer for a conversation that covers everything from new products to why farming can look completely different depending on where you call home.

We dig into Testament, one of Helena's new products, including what it is, what it does, and even how products like this get their names. Because, let's be honest, "Testament" sounds less like something you spray on a crop and more like a metal band.

From there, we get into the differences in farming practices across the country. What makes sense in Tennessee might look completely different in North or South Dakota. We talk tillage versus no-till, why certain practices are more prevalent in some regions than others, and how soil, climate, and growing conditions influence the decisions farmers make.

It's a great conversation with two guys who know the products and the industry, and another fun episode straight from the Farm Progress Show.

A huge thank you to Mark and Paul for joining us, and to Helena for hosting Talk Dirt To Me at their booth and continuing to support the show. We're proud to have them as a partner and appreciate the opportunity to bring these conversations to you live from FPS.

  8. Ep. 255: Are Americans Entitled to Cheap Food?

    Season 1, Episode 255

    Show notes

Trump's making moves on the cattle side again, but what does it actually mean for producers?

We kick this episode off breaking down the latest cattle conversation. Is this basically M-COOL under a different name? Is it something that could actually stick around, or was it an attempt to smooth things over after talk of importing more beef sent shockwaves through the cattle market? We give our take on what it could mean for American cattlemen.

Then we get into a conversation that might ruffle a few feathers: has the American consumer become entitled to cheap food? Everybody wants the farmer and rancher to produce the best, safest, most abundant food supply possible, but what happens when they expect it to stay cheap no matter what it costs to produce?

After that, we crack open the inbox for a big listener Q&A. We cover everything from cattle and herd bulls to when it makes more sense to custom hire versus buying your own equipment, and whether that bottle calf you raised should really grow up to become the bull running with your cows.

And, naturally, it wouldn't be Talk Dirt to Me without somebody getting pissed off.

One disgruntled listener took the time to let us know he had officially unclicked the Like button because we managed to trigger him once again.

    Our response?

We're not building a soft audience. Go pound sand.

Cattle markets, cheap food, farm equipment, questionable bull decisions, listener emails, and hurt feelings.

  9. Ep. 254: $5 Corn & $13 Beans?! What's Driving This Market? Farm Progress Show 2026

    Season 1, Episode 254

    Show notes

We're LIVE from the Farm Progress Show 2026 with Helena Agri-Enterprises!

In this episode, we're joined by Jody Lawrence and Austin Anderson for a deep dive into one of the biggest conversations in agriculture right now: what the hell is driving these markets?

With $13 soybeans and $5+ corn, we break down what's behind the recent run-up, whether today's markets are more volatile than they used to be, and what farmers should be watching as we look ahead toward 2027. Are these prices sustainable? What forces are moving the market? And what could change the picture going into next season?

But good prices only matter if you've got bushels to sell.

We also get into the agronomic side of the equation and talk about ways farmers can get more out of every acre. We dig into Grounded, a proprietary Helena adjuvant, why it could be a game changer for an operation, and how it can deliver value without breaking the bank.

This was a great episode for us not only because of the conversation, but because we got to record it LIVE from Farm Progress Show and showcase our partnership with Helena Agri-Enterprises.

  10. Ep. 253: Did Farmers get what they voted for?

    Season 1, Episode 253

    Show notes

A listener wrote in and asked us straight up why we have our noses stuck up Trump's ass. Fair question. So instead of dodging it, we devoted nearly an entire episode to answering it.

We put President Trump's record on agriculture under the microscope and ran the full ledger. Biofuels, the tax package, the death tax, DEF, direct aid, and the latest farm bill failure all went on the board. Then we looked at the other side. Agricultural exports to China, tariffs on fertilizer, chemistry, and iron, and hundreds of thousands of metric tons of foreign beef entering the country while American cattle numbers sit near historic lows.

Then we graded him category by category.

We also explain why we did not automatically put the trade war in the loss column. Trump told the country exactly what he intended to do about China, and we voted for him knowing it could create some short-term pain. The real question is whether that pain produces anything worthwhile for American agriculture in the long run.

But agriculture was never the only reason we voted for him. We are conservatives. We voted for the conservative platform on abortion, the Second Amendment, government regulation, energy, taxes, and the direction of the country as a whole. So we also run the counterfactual nobody seems interested in discussing. What would four years of Kamala Harris have actually looked like for farmers, ranchers, and rural America?

Then we finish with one of the wildest farm stories we have ever covered. A Georgia farm boy raised behind three mules went broke raising laying hens, turned his chicken feed into a thousand gallons of moonshine a week, and eventually became one of the highest-paid drug pilots in history, flying cocaine for a big name.

Sixty million dollars. Twenty-six prisons across four continents. Five escapes.

And through all of it, the only thing he ever truly wanted to do was farm.

  11. Ep. 252: Are Farmers Applying More Nitrogen Than They Need?

    Season 1, Episode 252

    Show notes

In this episode, we cover a lot of ground as harvest officially gets underway (the earliest for Logan) in West Tennessee. We look back on our time at the Tennessee Corn Growers Association's 40th anniversary celebration and talk about just how surreal it is to see how far Talk Dirt to Me has come. Getting invited to events like this is something we don't take for granted, and we couldn't have done any of it without the continued support of our listeners.

We also share some huge news: Talk Dirt to Me has officially partnered with Helena Agri-Enterprises! We're incredibly excited about what this partnership means for the show, and we talk about our upcoming trip to the Farm Progress Show, where we'll be recording live from Helena's booth.

Finally, Logan has started shelling corn and shares the early results from his low-nitrogen approach this season. The corn is actually producing more bushels than the pounds of nitrogen applied, but depending on how you look at it, that could be either encouraging or raise some bigger questions. We break down the economics, efficiency, and broader implications of producing respectable yields with fewer inputs. We also talk a little whiskey in this one!

From major podcast milestones and exciting partnerships to harvest updates and nitrogen debates, this episode covers a little bit of everything. Thank y'all for continuing to listen, support the show, and come along for the ride.

  12. Ep. 251: Who Gets the Farm When You Die? Feat. Brent Turner

    Season 1, Episode 251

    Show notes

Every farmer says they want the land to stay in the family, but far too many leave behind nothing more than, "Y'all can figure it out when I'm gone."

In this episode, we sit down with Brent Turner, founder of Agri-Generational and author of Peace of Land, to discuss why that mindset can destroy everything a family spent generations building.

Through the fictional story in Peace of Land, Brent walks readers through the difficult decisions surrounding legacy land, family relationships, succession planning, and ultimately letting go. It's a story but it tackles a very real problem: farms that survive droughts, bad markets, and generations of hard work can still fall apart almost overnight because nobody created a plan for what happens next.

Brent explains how Agri-Generational helps farm and ranch families protect their property, prepare the next generation, and build a succession plan capable of keeping the operation and the family together.

If you own land, farm with family, or hope to pass something meaningful on to your children, this is a conversation you cannot afford to avoid. Your legacy shouldn't become somebody else's mess to figure out.

  13. Ep. 250: Would America Exist Without Farmers?

    Season 1, Episode 250

    Show notes

    Episode 250 demanded something bigger.

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we're looking back at the farmers, fighters, inventors, rebels and outlaws who helped build the country from the ground up. From armed farmers answering the call of revolution to legendary war heroes, brutal frontier conflicts and the agricultural breakthroughs that transformed hand labor into precision farming, this episode explores the wild, bloody and often overlooked history of American agriculture.

We dig into the farmer-soldiers who fought for independence, the men whose inventions changed farming forever, heroes like Alvin C. York and Audie Murphy, and the savage last stand of Wyoming rancher Nate Champion. We also confront the harder chapter such as, sharecropping, the Dust Bowl and the 1980s farm crisis, because the real history of agriculture deserves being told.

Then farmers and ranchers from across America and beyond join us for a modern agricultural roll call, proving that this story is not finished. The machines have changed. The science has changed. The country has changed. But somebody still has to raise the food.

This is 250 episodes of Talk Dirt to Me. This is 250 years of American agriculture. And this is our message to the farmers who will still be working this ground when America turns 300.

  14. Ep. 249: How do you keep Tennessee Tennessee? feat. John Rose

    Season 1, Episode 249

    Show notes

    EARLY DROP!

Congressman John Rose joins us in the studio for one of our most wide-ranging conversations yet. As one of the leading candidates in the race for Governor of Tennessee, Rose sits down to discuss his vision for the Volunteer State, what sets Tennessee apart, and how we can preserve the values, culture, and agricultural heritage that have made it one of the fastest-growing states in America.

With hundreds of people moving to Tennessee every day, we ask the big question: How do we keep Tennessee... Tennessee?

We also tackle several of the biggest claims being made against Rose on the campaign trail. Is he in favor of China buying American farmland? Where does he actually stand on illegal immigration? We give him the opportunity to respond directly and explain his positions.

Beyond politics, we dive into Rose's deep agricultural roots, his family's farming legacy, and how that background shaped both his career and his approach to public service. Then we wrap things up with a fun surprise as John reveals his family's connection to a legendary rock star, making for one of the most unexpected stories we've ever had on the show.

Whether you're a Tennessee farmer, interested in state politics, or just want to hear an unfiltered conversation with one of the state's highest-profile candidates, this is an episode you won't want to miss.

  15. Ep. 248: So, do cows eat people?

    Season 1, Episode 248

    Show notes

If beef costs so much at the grocery store, why aren't cattle producers swimming in money? In this episode, we tackle some of the biggest and occasionally dumbest questions people ask about American agriculture.

We break down where your food dollar actually goes, how inflation has affected beef prices, and why expensive groceries don't automatically mean farmers are getting rich. We also explain what cattle really eat, whether livestock are treated humanely, and how farmers turn everything from ethanol byproducts to rejected candy into valuable feed instead of waste.

Then we get into the myths surrounding modern farming: Are crops drenched in chemicals? Does "organic" mean pesticide-free? Why can't farmers save their own seed? Are seed companies controlling the food supply, or are hybrids and patented genetics a little more complicated than the internet makes them sound?

We also wade into MAHA, food dyes, cereal that's still unhealthy no matter what color it is, motorcycles, government mandates, and whether cows could help you pull off the perfect crime.

Finally, we reveal the executive orders we'd sign if America ever made the terrible decision to elect us president, from abolishing taxes and the ATF to uncovering whatever the government is hiding at Area 51.

It's farming myths, expensive beef, organic pesticides, government conspiracies, and questionable presidential policy, all in one episode of Talk Dirt to Me.

  16. Ep. 247: Eat More Beef, The Salad's the One Trying to Kill You

    Season 1, Episode 247

    Show notes

In this episode of Talk Dirt To Me, we're answering your farming questions and breaking down the biggest stories impacting agriculture right now.

We kick things off with some listener Q&As before diving into Bayer's new hybrid wheat. Is it GMO? How much more yield are they claiming? Is the ROI better than saved seed, and could hybrid wheat change the future of grain production?

From there, we take a deep dive into the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, highlighting why Tennessee continues to be one of the nation's most overlooked row crop states despite ranking among the top performers for crop conditions. We compare the top five states for corn rated good to excellent, discuss how much of the U.S. corn crop has reached the silking stage compared to last year, and what these numbers could mean for yield potential heading into harvest.

We also examine the latest farm equipment sales numbers, which segment is surprisingly showing growth, and what declining equipment sales say about the current farm economy.

Another major topic is the newly announced $11 billion in federal farm aid plus maximum ARC/PLC payments. Will the payments provide meaningful relief, or will they simply lead to higher seed, fertilizer, and chemical prices next season?

International trade is back in the spotlight as we discuss the new tariffs on thousands of Brazilian products and the complicated relationship between Brazil, China, and American agriculture. Could these tariffs create new opportunities for U.S. farmers, or will they ultimately strengthen Brazil's position with China?

And because no episode is complete without a little fun, we wrap up by talking about the recent Cyclospora outbreak, why leafy greens seem to make the news more often than steaks, and share guidance that eating more beef might be the safest strategy after all.

If you enjoy honest conversations about farming, markets, policy, equipment, and everything happening in rural America, this is an episode you won't want to miss.

  17. Ep. 246: The John Deere Lawsuit, Relay Cropping & Funeral Playlists

    Season 1, Episode 246

    Show notes

If you've ever wondered whether farmland should be taken out of row crop production to make it easier for the next generation of farmers to get started, this episode is for you. We kick things off with listener Q&A and tackle one of agriculture's biggest questions: would reducing row crop acres actually help young farmers, or would it create even bigger problems?

From there, we dive into the growing conversation around relay cropping (intercropping) and discuss why innovative farmer Jason Mauck has so many people in agriculture paying attention. Is this the future of row crop farming, or just another interesting experiment? We share our thoughts on this interesting way to farm.

We also discuss replanting soybeans after deer damage, discuss practical ways to reduce deer pressure, and talk through how many we think need to be eliminated.

Then we break down the recent John Deere right-to-repair lawsuit. What does the ruling actually mean? Will farmers notice any real changes in the shop or out in the field, or is this story bigger in the headlines than it is in everyday farming?

Of course, it wouldn't be Talk Dirt to Me without getting off the beaten path. We reveal our Top 3 songs we'd want played at our own funerals, revisit classic comedies like Old School, somehow end up talking about True Detective, and prove once again that no topic is ever completely off limits.

  18. Ep. 245: Glyphosate, MAHA, and the Attack on American Farming Feat. Rusty Grills and Stefan Maupin

    Season 1, Episode 245

    Show notes

Is glyphosate really safe? What happens if it's banned? Is modern American farming under attack?

This week on Talk Dirt To Me, we're joined in studio by Tennessee State Representative Rusty Grills and Tennessee Soybean Promotion Council Executive Director Stefan Maupin for one of our most candid and hard-hitting conversations yet.

We kick things off by tackling an issue that rarely makes headlines but is costing farmers millions every year: deer damage to crops. As urban sprawl continues to expand, exploding deer populations are creating a growing crisis for row crop farmers across Tennessee and the United States.

Then we dive headfirst into the biggest controversy in agriculture today: glyphosate.

We break down the recent Supreme Court ruling involving Bayer/Monsanto, what the decision actually means, and answer the questions everyone is asking:

    • Is glyphosate safe? • Could modern agriculture survive without glyphosate? • What would food prices and crop production look like if it were banned? • If glyphosate is outlawed, what's next? • Is the MAHA movement helping farmers or hurting them?

We also discuss the growing divide between farmers and consumers, why it feels like agriculture is now taking criticism from every direction, and what farmers can do to better tell their story.

Finally, we examine the influence of major voices like Shawn Ryan and Joe Rogan, discussing what happens when massive platforms amplify critics of modern farming and how the agricultural community should respond.

Whether you're a farmer, rancher, policymaker, or simply someone who wants to understand where your food comes from, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.

    Season 1, Episode 244

    Show notes

This week on Talk Dirt To Me, we're answering your questions, taking our lumps, and diving headfirst into some of agriculture's biggest debates.

One listener absolutely roasts us before asking the question that sparked one of our favorite discussions: Is ethanol actually a good thing? As a row crop farmer, Logan shares his honest perspective on ethanol, corn demand, consumer choice, and whether the benefits are as clear-cut as many people claim.

We also tackle a social media comment suggesting the United States should simply eliminate row crop farming. What would actually happen if we stopped growing corn, soybeans, wheat, and cotton? We break down the real-world consequences, from the economic impact and millions of jobs tied to agriculture to livestock feed, land use, food production, and what it would mean for American farmers and consumers.

As always, we've got plenty of listener Q&A covering topics from around the farm, plus another listener-submitted Top Two, where we tell the stories of the biggest times our parents caught us being bad as kids. Let's just say...we earned a few whoopings.

We wrap things up with our Made in the USA Product of the Week featuring Dr. Squatch Pine Tar Soap, one of our favorite American-made products.

    Season 1, Episode 243

    Show notes

This week on Talk Dirt To Me, we're joined in studio by Nick Patterson, President of the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association, and Dale Parker, Vice President of the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association, for a wide-ranging conversation about the future of Tennessee's cattle industry.

We dive into Nick and Dale's backgrounds as cattle producers, how they became involved with the TCA, and their vision for strengthening the voice of Tennessee cattlemen across the state. From industry advocacy to producer education, we discuss what they hope to accomplish and why organizations like the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association matter now more than ever.

Nick and Dale share practical prevention strategies, what producers should be watching for, and how these threats could impact cattle operations across the region.

The conversation doesn't stop there. We discuss the widening gap between farmers and consumers, why agricultural producers must do a better job telling their stories, and how misinformation can shape public perception of modern agriculture. We also address a question many cattlemen have asked: Is the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association beholden to the NCBA? We examine the relationship between the TCA and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and discuss who the NCBA ultimately represents.

To wrap things up, Nick and Dale answer listener-submitted questions covering a variety of topics affecting cattle producers and rural communities.
