The Chargers return home at 9–1 and riding a 9-game winning streak after a dominant 44–6 victory over South Bend Washington. Waiting for them is a Jimtown team that just knocked off 8–1 Tippecanoe Valley, 15–14, to earn its shot at West Noble in the Class 3A Sectional 26 semifinal.

West Noble enters the IHSAA Class 3A playoffs at 8–1, riding an 8-game winning streak and carrying an NECC Big School championship into South Bend for a first-round matchup with South Bend Washington.

West Noble is officially your 2026 NECC Big School Champion after surviving an absolute battle at Angola, 14–7.

This week on The Charge Up, we look back at the championship win, Xy’Mire Barnes-Bridges finding the end zone twice, and Brayden Limerick slamming the door with an interception in the end zone with just 20 seconds remaining.

West Noble survived a Homecoming battle with Fairfield, 20-14, to improve to 5-1 and keep the U.S. 33 Marker on Charger Hill.

Now the Chargers hit the road.

This week, West Noble travels to LaGrange to take on the Lakeland Lakers Friday night. The Bell stays in Charger Country. West Noble is coming off a dominant 63-0 shutout of Central Noble, and the Chargers wasted absolutely no time taking control - opening with an onside kick, forcing three interceptions, getting a Brayden Limerick pick-six, and taking a 49-0 lead into halftime.
