The Corner of Grey Street

Singer, songwriter, American Idol winner, and DMB fan Phillip Phillips joins us this week on the pod to talk about performing "The Stone" on Idol, skipping school for his first concert ever - a DMB show, and how his perspective and songwriting has changed now that he is a husband and father of 2. Much like his new brand new EP, "Let's Go Far: Vol. 1", Phillip was very open and honest throughout the conversation, and proving that he truly is very down-to-earth, genuine human.

We really enjoyed this one and hope you all do too! Be sure to check him out on his fall tour in a city near you: Fall Tour Dates

And be sure to check out the aforementioned EP as well: Let's Go Far: Vol. 1

This week we were joined by the incredible Tatiana Hargreaves for a conversation surrounding her preparation for guesting with DMB, gaining confidence in improvisation, competitive fiddling, and much more. From growing up on the west coast in a house of musicians, to moving out east and finding her musical "home", to stepping on stage at The Gorge, we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Tatiana and hope you all enjoy it as well.

Thanks again to Tatiana for her time, and we encourage you all to check out her latest musical projects and if she is playing on a stage near you, check her out there too!

We have a very special episode this week as we were joined by the former host of MTV's TRL, current writer/producer/voice actor for Family Guy, and LA-area DJ, Damien Fahey! Damien has been a DMB fan for nearly 30 years, and was able to catch last week's show at the iconic Forest Hills Stadium.

We had a ton of fun chopping it up with him about how he became a fan of the band, his adoration for Carter, his most memorable time from hosting TRL, and of course how he wants to get Dave on Family Guy one day.

Thanks again to Damien for joining us, and we hope you all enjoy this one as much as we did!

The Summer Tour is in full swing, and the band has come out of the gates STRONG. From unique setlists, to deep cut bust-outs, to top-tier guests, the start to this tour has been one to remember. We break down the band's shows from Alpharetta through West Pam Beach, and wrap up the episode with our nerdy segment "Summer Stats So Far...".

Cheers!

The 2026 Summer Tour has begun, and the first 3 shows proved that things truly are bigger in Texas. The band kicked off the tour in style with 3 of the more unique and consistent setlists we have seen in a very long time. From the surprising return of songs like "Kit Kat Jam", "Broken Things", and "Snow Outside"; to the return of fan-favorite fiddle player Jake Renick Simpson, the Texas Trifecta was absolutely terrific, and in this episode we break it all down!

One of the more popular guests to join DMB on stage, Jake Renick Simpson, joined us for one of our favorite installments of Convos on the Corner to date! Throughout this conversation, Jake reminisced on releasing his first album at 11 years old, writing a letter to Dave Matthews in 8th grade, playing mandolin with Billy Strings, jamming in Bela Fleck's kitchen, and of course his entire Big Sky and Gorge experiences.
