In 1999, a gunman entered Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, and opened fire. He killed seven people and injured several others. Katherine Schweit is the architect of the FBI’s Active Shooter Program. She is the author of Women Who Talk to the Dead: The True Story of 200 Forgotten Murder Victims and the Relentless Pursuit of Justice by an FBI Agent and a Detroit Police Detective.
