  1. 518. Are You Drifting Apart? How to Get C.L.O.S.E.R. Emotionally and Sexually!

    Show notes

Imagine you and your spouse are floating in the ocean, each in your own raft. At first, you're right next to each other, close enough to talk, laugh, and reach out to one another. But slowly, without even realizing it, the currents begin pulling you apart.

At first, the distance seems small and harmless. But the longer you drift, the farther apart you become. Eventually, you look up and realize your spouse is so far away that getting back together will take some serious effort.

This is exactly what happens in so many marriages!

Couples don't usually wake up one morning completely disconnected. It happens slowly. Life gets busy, conversations become surface level, affection fades, sexual intimacy becomes less frequent, and before you know it, you're living more like roommates than lovers.

And here's the scary part: The farther you drift apart, the harder it becomes to paddle back together!

In this powerful episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy share the analogy of two rafts drifting apart in the ocean and explain how it relates to emotional connection, sexual intimacy, and the little things couples stop doing that once kept their marriage strong.

We discuss the warning signs that you're drifting apart, why emotional and sexual disconnection often go hand in hand, and most importantly, what you can do TODAY to start paddling back toward each other.

The good news? It's never too late to start reconnecting, rebuilding intimacy, and reigniting the spark!

Don't wait until your spouse feels miles away to start fighting for your marriage.

Listen to this episode and discover how to stop the drift, close the distance, and fall in love with your spouse all over again!

  2. 517. Part 2 - The Emotional And Sexual Needs Of Husbands That Wive's Often Dismiss Or Overlook With Austin

    Show notes

We're back with Part 2 of one of the most important conversations about marriage, intimacy, and the emotional needs of husbands! In Part 1, we explored why so many husbands feel emotionally overlooked, why sexual intimacy is often much more than just a physical experience for men, and why feeling desired, appreciated, and wanted matters so much in marriage. But there is so much more to this conversation!

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick continues the discussion with licensed marriage and family therapist Austin Ellis as they dive even deeper into the emotional and sexual struggles husbands often experience but rarely talk about. They explore the impact of repeated rejection, why husbands need emotional safety too, how a lack of appreciation and affection can slowly create distance in marriage, and whether we've created double standards when it comes to meeting each other's needs. Most importantly, they share practical ways couples can better communicate, reconnect, and create a marriage where BOTH spouses feel loved, respected, desired, and fulfilled.

If you haven't listened to Part 1, we encourage you to start there! And whether you're a husband who has struggled to express his needs or a wife who wants to better understand her husband, this episode will help you see intimacy and connection from a different perspective. Because a great marriage isn't about whose needs matter more. It's about two spouses who genuinely care about meeting each other's emotional and sexual needs.

  3. 516. Does Your Spouse Feel the Same Way You Do About Your Marriage Intimacy? The Marriage Assessment That Could Change Everything!

    Show notes

What if you think your marriage is doing great in certain areas, but your spouse feels completely differently? You might be surprised by what you discover!

One evening while we were out on a date, I asked Amy a simple question: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this part of our marriage?"

    Her answer completely surprised me!

I honestly thought we were doing really well in that area of our marriage, but Amy saw things differently. What started as one simple question turned into an incredible conversation that helped me better understand how she was really feeling and what we could do to make our marriage even better.

And it made us realize something important: Just because YOU think something is going great in your marriage doesn't mean your spouse feels the same way!

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy share why every married couple should regularly check in with each other and have honest conversations about the different areas of their marriage, including emotional intimacy, sexual intimacy, communication, quality time, affection, and more!

We discuss how asking your spouse to rate different aspects of your marriage can open the door to conversations you might never have otherwise.

Because you can't improve something if you don't even realize your spouse is struggling with it!

You might discover that something you thought was a 9 or 10 is actually a 5 or 6 for your spouse. And while that might be surprising, it can also be an incredible opportunity to grow closer, understand each other better, and strengthen your marriage.

So here's our challenge: Are you brave enough to ask your spouse how they REALLY feel about your marriage?

You might be surprised by their answers, and those answers could lead to some of the most important conversations you've had in years!

Don't miss this episode! It might completely change the way you look at your marriage. Even better? We provide you with a printable to start rating those areas of your marriage and having those conversations!

  4. 515. The Emotional And Sexual Needs Of Husbands That Wive's Often Dismiss Or Overlook - Part 1 With Austin

    Show notes

We hear a lot (and talk a lot) about what wives need to feel emotionally safe, loved, appreciated, and sexually connected in marriage. But what about husbands? What about the husband who works hard, loves his family, and tries to be a great spouse, yet quietly feels lonely, unappreciated, rejected, or unwanted? Are we overlooking the emotional and sexual needs of men in marriage?

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick sits down with licensed marriage and family therapist Austin Ellis for an honest and eye opening conversation about what husbands really need from their wives, and why those needs are often misunderstood or dismissed.

They dive into why sexual intimacy is deeply emotional for many men, why husbands want to feel desired rather than just accommodated, how repeated rejection can affect a husband's confidence and connection, and why emotional safety, affection, appreciation, and respect matter just as much to husbands as they do to wives.

This episode isn't about blaming wives or suggesting one spouse's needs matter more than the other's. It's about helping couples better understand each other, communicate their needs, and build a marriage where BOTH spouses feel loved, wanted, appreciated, and sexually fulfilled. Whether you're a husband who struggles to express what you need or a wife who wants to better understand her husband, this is an episode you won't want to miss!

  5. 514. Do We Put Too Much Emphasis On Sexual Intimacy In Marriage? - Reading A Listeners Email

    Show notes

Is sexual intimacy really as important in marriage as we make it out to be? Or have we put so much emphasis on sex that we've lost sight of what marriage is really about?

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy read a thought-provoking email from a listener who challenges the importance we place on sexual intimacy in marriage. It raises some interesting questions that we believe many couples have probably wondered about but rarely discuss.

Should sex be such a big priority in marriage?

Can a marriage be happy and fulfilling without much sexual intimacy?

And at what point does emphasizing sex actually create more pressure, frustration, and resentment between spouses?

We dive into both sides of this conversation and discuss why sexual intimacy matters, why emotional connection is just as important, and how couples can find a healthy balance without making either spouse feel pressured, neglected, or unimportant.

Because at the end of the day, marriage is about so much more than sex. But does that mean sexual intimacy should take a back seat?

Join us for an honest, thought-provoking conversation that might just challenge the way you look at intimacy in your own marriage!

  6. 513. If You Struggle With These Things, Your Marriage Needs This - With Austin

    Show notes

What if you could take one trip together and come home feeling closer, more connected, more passionate, and more in love than you have in years?

When couples write to us asking for help, almost every message comes back to the same two things: “We need to communicate better” and “We need more intimacy and connection in our relationship.”

So we decided to create an experience completely centered around BOTH.

In this episode, Nick and Amy sit down with marriage and intimacy therapist Austin Ellis, LMFT, to give you an inside look at what couples will experience on the 2027 Ultimate Intimacy & Adventure Cruise and why this is definitely NOT your typical couples getaway.

Imagine six nights away from the kids, work, schedules, laundry, dishes, and everything else competing for your attention. You’re cruising to Mexico, going on adventures, having date nights, relaxing together, AND spending intentional time in over 10 hours of instruction with Austin, learning how to create the marriage you actually want to come home to, and then leaving with the tools to be able to do so.

We’re talking about the conversations most couples avoid. Communication. Sex. Desire differences. Rejection. Emotional connection. Feeling wanted. Feeling understood. And how to bring the FUN and PASSION back into your marriage.

And instead of listening to a podcast and thinking, “We really need to work on that someday,” you’ll actually have the time, tools, and guidance to work on it TOGETHER.

    Because vacations eventually end.

But what if you came home with something that didn’t?

Better communication. Deeper intimacy. More understanding. More connection. More passion. And an entirely new vision for your marriage.

Space will be limited for this amazing experience.

So if you’ve been thinking, “We need something like this,” don’t wait until you see everyone else heading to Mexico without you.

  7. 512. Why The Devil Does Everything He Can To Get You In The Bedroom Before You're Married, And Then Keep You Out Of The Bedroom Once You're Married

    Show notes

Have you ever stopped to think about how strange this is that before marriage, most couples can't keep their hands off each other. The attraction is intense. The passion is exciting. The desire to be physically intimate can feel almost impossible to resist. They dream about their wedding night, look forward to being together, and can't wait to experience sexual intimacy with the person they love.

But then something happens. They get married and the intimacy stops.

The very thing they once couldn't wait to experience together suddenly becomes something they struggle to make time for. The passion that once seemed effortless starts to fade. One spouse wants sex more often than the other. Rejection becomes common. Resentment builds. And what was once a source of excitement and anticipation can become one of the biggest sources of frustration in the marriage.

Isn't it interesting that the world seems to encourage sex before marriage, yet once couples are married, everything seems to work against them having it?

At Ultimate Intimacy, we believe there is a spiritual battle happening in marriages, and sexual intimacy is one of the places where that battle can be especially destructive.

In this episode Nick and Amy talk about why this happens, and more importantly, what couples can do about it to experience the intimacy they desire.

We’re back with Part 2, and we’re going even deeper!

What happens when you’ve clearly told your spouse what you need, they KNOW you’re hurting, and yet... nothing seems to change?

In this episode, Nick and Amy continue their conversation with marriage therapist Austin Ellis, LMFT, about breaking the frustrating cycle of repeating yourself, feeling ignored, getting defensive and eventually giving up.

We talk about what REAL change looks like, why good intentions aren’t always enough, how to actually follow through for your spouse, and what to do when resentment and rejection have already started building.

  9. 510. How Much Of Libido Is Mental? Better Sex Starts Here...

    Show notes

She’s thinking about the kids, schedules, work, groceries, appointments, laundry, what needs to happen tomorrow, the conversation she forgot to have, the thing she needs to order, and the 37 other tabs still open in her brain.

Then her husband reaches over hoping for intimacy... and she feels like she has absolutely nothing left to give.

    Sound familiar?

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast with Nick and Amy, we’re talking about something that could be quietly destroying sexual desire in marriage: mental exhaustion.

For many women, sexual desire doesn’t simply appear out of nowhere. Stress, exhaustion, hormones, sleep, body image, relationship connection, and the mental load she carries can all affect her ability to shift from “I need to take care of everything” into “I actually want to be intimate with my husband.”

And husbands, this episode is NOT about blaming you or telling you that you need to do 47 chores before your wife will want sex.

It’s about understanding what may actually be happening in her brain and body... and what BOTH spouses can do about it.

Because the answer isn’t to wait until life is easy, the house is clean, the kids are perfect, and everything on the to do list is finished before you have sex.

    That day may never come.

The goal is to understand what is getting in the way of desire and learn how to work together so BOTH spouses feel loved, wanted, connected, and important.

  10. 509. I've Told You What I Need... So Why Does Nothing Change? Therapist Interview Part 1

    Show notes

Have you ever looked at your spouse and thought, “How many times do I have to say this before something actually changes?”

You’ve explained what you need. You’ve tried being nice about it. You’ve brought it up during a calm conversation. You’ve probably brought it up during a not so calm conversation too.

You’ve told them you need more affection. More help. More communication. More initiation. More appreciation. More quality time. More intimacy. More effort.

    They say they hear you.

Maybe they even promise to do better.

And then... a week later, you’re right back where you started.

So what do you do when your spouse KNOWS what you need, or you think they know what you need, but nothing seems to change?

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy sit down with marriage therapist Austin Ellis, LMFT, to talk about one of the most frustrating patterns in marriage: feeling like you’ve communicated your needs clearly, but your spouse still isn’t responding.

We’re digging into why spouses can hear the exact same conversation completely differently, why repeating yourself and asking them if that is what they mean can help clarify things, and what couples can do when one spouse feels ignored while the other feels constantly criticized.

We also talk about the difference between hearing your spouse and truly understanding them, why some requests never seem to “stick,” and how to communicate your needs in a way that actually creates connection instead of another argument.

And yes... we’re talking about intimacy too. Because when a husband or wife repeatedly says, “I need to feel wanted,” “I need more affection,” “I need you to initiate,” or “I need emotional connection first,” and nothing changes, resentment and rejection can start piling up FAST.

    If you’ve ever thought:

“I’ve already told you this 100 times!”

“Why do I have to keep asking?”

“Why does it feel like what I need doesn’t matter?”

    Or even...

“My spouse keeps telling me what they need, but I honestly don’t know what they want me to DO differently!”

This episode is for BOTH of you.

Because sometimes the problem isn’t that your spouse doesn’t care.

Sometimes the problem is that the two of you are speaking, listening, interpreting and responding in completely different ways.

And THAT is something you can change.

Join Nick, Amy and Austin for a fun, honest and incredibly relatable conversation about how to finally get out of the “I’ve told you a million times!” cycle and start creating real change in your marriage.

  13. 506. 8 Reasons To Initiate Even If You Are NOT In The Mood: does the lower drive spouse have responsibility for creating passion?

    Show notes

Who usually initiates sexual intimacy in your marriage? If the answer is almost always the same spouse, this episode could be a game changer for your relationship.

Initiating sex is about so much more than sex. It communicates desire, attraction, love, and reassurance. It tells your spouse, “I still choose you. I still want you.” When only one spouse initiates, they may begin to feel unwanted, rejected, or like intimacy only happens because they ask for it.

In this episode, Nick and Amy discuss why both husbands and wives need to take turns initiating, even when one spouse naturally has a higher desire. They share how initiation can strengthen confidence, create anticipation, reduce feelings of rejection, and bring more passion into your marriage.

    They also talk about:

    • Why being pursued matters to both husbands and wives
    • How always being the one who initiates can become frustrating
    • How taking more initiative can completely change your marriage

Your spouse does not only want you to agree to intimacy. They want to feel wanted by you.

If you want more connection, confidence, excitement, and passion in your marriage, it may be time to stop waiting for your spouse to make the first move.

Listen to this episode and discover why initiating sexual intimacy could be one of the simplest and most powerful ways to transform your marriage.

    Show notes

What happens when one spouse is giving everything they have to the marriage but still feels unwanted, unimportant, and completely alone?

In this powerful episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy sit down with marriage therapist Austin to discuss a listener’s deeply honest letter about the emotional and sexual intimacy gap. They explore why husbands need to feel pursued and desired too, how one spouse can become comfortable while the other quietly suffers, and why regular sex does not always make someone feel truly wanted.

You will also learn how childhood experiences, fear, shame, resentment, and different definitions of love can cause a spouse to emotionally or sexually check out without fully recognizing the damage being done. Austin shares how to approach a disconnected spouse with vulnerability instead of anger, create a shared vision for your marriage, and invite each other into something better.

Marriage requires two people who are willing to love, grow, sacrifice, and stay engaged. If you have ever wondered, “How do I get my spouse to care?” or felt like you are the only one fighting for your marriage, this honest and hope filled conversation is one you will not want to miss.

  16. 503. Part 2 To Episode 501 - How Men Can Harness And Manage Their Strong Sex Drive And How Women Can Awaken Theirs - With Austin

    Show notes

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy continue their discussion from episode 501 with Austin, and discuss one of the most common dynamics in marriage: different levels and patterns of sexual desire.

For many husbands, sexual desire can feel strong, spontaneous, and always ready to go. But instead of allowing that desire to turn into frustration, pressure, or resentment when intimacy doesn’t happen, men can learn how to harness that energy and use it in other ways to strengthen attraction, connection, and their marriage.

For many wives, desire may work differently. Rather than appearing spontaneously, sexual desire can often be responsive, awakening through emotional connection, affection, flirting, feeling desired, reducing stress, anticipation, and intentionally making space for intimacy.

That means neither spouse has to simply accept, “This is just how I am.” Both can better understand their sexuality and learn how to cultivate desire in healthy, intentional ways.

Couples can stop allowing differences in libido to divide them and instead work together to create an intimate relationship where both spouses feel wanted, understood, pursued, and satisfied.

Having different levels of desire doesn’t mean you’re incompatible. The goal isn’t for one spouse to suppress their sexuality or for the other to force desire, it’s learning how to understand, cultivate, and enjoy sexual intimacy together. Trust us, you can have different desires and still have a great intimate marriage.

  17. 502. He Wants Sex To Feel Connected. She Wants Connection To Want Sex. Why we view it so differently...

    Show notes

Why do two people who deeply love each other sometimes struggle so much in the bedroom?

This week on the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy dive into one of the biggest sources of frustration in marriage: men and women often experience and understand sex very differently.

When we view our spouse's sexual behavior through our own lens, it's easy to feel rejected, pressured, unwanted, or misunderstood. But when we understand why our spouse may view physical intimacy differently, those differences can become a bridge instead of a barrier.

Nick and Amy unpack several of the biggest differences between husbands and wives when it comes to sex.

Sex as a Physical Need vs. an Emotional Gateway

For many husbands, physical intimacy is one of the primary ways they experience love, connection, reassurance, and emotional closeness. Feeling desired by their wife can make them feel deeply valued and connected.

For many wives, the process can work in the opposite direction. Emotional connection, feeling loved, heard, supported, and safe can create the environment where sexual desire can grow.

That can create a frustrating cycle:

He wants sex to feel connected → she wants connection to feel ready for sex.

Both are seeking connection—but they're approaching it from opposite directions.

    Spontaneous Desire vs. Responsive Desire

Nick and Amy also discuss the difference between spontaneous and responsive desire.

Many men can experience desire seemingly out of nowhere. A thought, a visual cue, or simply being around their wife can spark sexual desire.

Many women experience desire more responsively. Desire may develop after affection, emotional connection, relaxation, flirting, touch, and feeling safe and connected.

When couples don't understand this difference, a husband may interpret his wife's lack of immediate desire as rejection, while a wife may wonder why her husband seems ready for sex when she hasn't even mentally switched gears.

Stress Can Affect Men and Women Differently

Here's another major difference: stress doesn't always affect spouses the same way.

For many husbands, physical intimacy can be a way to relax, reconnect, and escape the stress of the day.

For many wives, stress can completely shut down sexual desire. If she's carrying the mental load of work, kids, finances, housework, and everything else on her plate, it can be difficult to transition from “I have 47 things to do” to “I'm ready for intimacy.”

Understanding this difference can help couples stop taking each other's responses personally and start working together.

    Visual vs. Experiential Stimulation

Nick and Amy also talk about how husbands and wives can be stimulated differently.

Men are often highly visually stimulated, while many women are more influenced by the overall experience and context—how their husband talks to them, treats them, touches them, listens to them, helps them, and makes them feel throughout the day.

For a wife, what happens outside the bedroom can have a huge impact on what happens inside the bedroom.

So How Do Couples Bridge the Gap?

Understanding the differences is only the beginning. Couples need to learn how to meet each other in the middle.

Nick and Amy share practical ways to do that, including:

    • Give zero-pressure affection. Let a hug just be a hug sometimes. Physical touch doesn't always have to lead to sex.
    • Practice emotional foreplay all day. Connection, flirting, kindness, communication, and helping carry the mental load can all contribute to intimacy.
    • Communicate your bids for intimacy clearly. Husbands can express their desire without making it feel like a demand, and wives can communicate when they're not ready without making their husbands feel unwanted.
    • Create more safety and playfulness. Take the pressure off and make intimacy something you both look forward to rather than something one spouse is constantly requesting and the other is constantly avoiding.

Ultimately, men and women aren't necessarily fighting against each other—they're often fighting to have their own needs understood.

A husband may be thinking, “Why doesn't she want me?”

A wife may be thinking, “Why doesn't he understand what I need to want him?”

Both may be longing for the same thing: connection.

When a husband learns to pursue his wife's heart as well as her body, and a wife understands that her husband's desire for physical intimacy can be deeply connected to his desire for love and reassurance, couples can stop fighting their differences and start using them to create greater intimacy.

Your spouse isn't necessarily wrong because they experience sex differently than you do. They may simply be wired differently.

The goal isn't to make your spouse think like you.

The goal is to understand how they experience intimacy—and learn how to love them in a way they can actually feel.

Tune in as Nick and Amy unpack the differences between male and female desire, what couples commonly misunderstand about sex, and practical ways to turn those differences into a stronger, more connected and passionate marriage.

  18. 501. Why Do So Many Issues In Marriage Correlate With Sex, Or The Lack Thereof? Part ONE - With Austin

    Show notes

Why does sexual intimacy seem to be connected to so many other areas of marriage?

When couples are struggling with communication, resentment, emotional disconnection, trust, affection, stress, or feeling unappreciated, their sex life often struggles too. And when sexual intimacy disappears or becomes a source of conflict, those other problems can sometimes feel even bigger.

So is sex actually causing the problems, or is the lack of sex revealing problems that already exist?

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy sit down with marriage therapist Austin, LMFT, to unpack the complicated relationship between sexual intimacy and the overall health of a marriage.

For many couples, sex isn't just sex. It can represent feeling wanted, desired, connected, accepted, loved, pursued, and chosen. At the same time, a healthy sex life usually doesn't exist in isolation. Emotional connection, kindness, loyalty, respect, communication, trust, and effort all play an important role in creating the kind of relationship where great sexual intimacy can thrive.

That’s why problems in the bedroom can sometimes be a symptom of what’s happening outside the bedroom, and problems outside the bedroom can quickly show up inside it.

The goal isn't simply to “have more sex.” It's to create a marriage where both spouses are intentionally building the emotional and relational foundation that allows mutual, wanted, connecting sexual intimacy to thrive.

Because sometimes what’s happening, or not happening in the bedroom is telling you something important about what’s happening everywhere else in your marriage.

  19. 500. Why Feeling Pressured For Sex Is A Desire Killer For Wives (And How To Fix It)

    Show notes

Why Feeling Pressured for Sex Is a Turn-Off for Wives

What if the very thing you're doing to get more sex is actually the thing making your spouse want less sex?

This week on the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy tackle a topic that can create a lot of frustration in marriage: why feeling pressured for sex can be such a major turn-off for wives.

There’s a big difference between feeling wanted and feeling expected. For many women, sexual desire is responsive which means it often grows out of emotional connection, affection, relaxation, safety, attraction and feeling close to their husband. You can't pressure someone into feeling desire.

But pressure can create a painful cycle:

He feels rejected → pursues harder → she feels pressured → she withdraws → he feels even more rejected → he pursues even harder.

Both spouses end up hurting, and neither may realize they're stuck in a cycle.

Nick and Amy discuss five ways husbands can unintentionally create pressure, including when every touch becomes sexual, reacting negatively to rejection, keeping score, constantly testing the waters, and making affection feel transactional.

But this isn't a “blame the husband” episode.

Husbands aren't wrong for wanting sex, wanting to feel desired, or initiating. Wives have responsibility too. Wives need to communicate what helps them feel connected and sexually open, recognize that physical intimacy can be an important way their husband experiences love and reassurance, and take ownership of their own sensuality and sexual relationship.

The answer isn't for husbands to stop pursuing their wives.

It's learning how to pursue without creating pressure.

Give affection without strings attached. Respond well to “no.” Build connection throughout the day. Help carry the mental load because you're her partner—not as a transaction for sex. Create opportunities for intimacy without demanding a specific outcome.

Ultimately, pressure doesn't create desire. Safety, connection, attraction, playfulness and invitation create an environment where desire can grow.

And both spouses have an important role to play:

Wives shouldn't expect husbands to stop wanting sex. Husbands shouldn't expect wives to want sex on command.

The goal isn't for one spouse to win.

The goal is to create a marriage where both spouses genuinely want to pursue each other.

Tune in as Nick and Amy unpack this complicated dynamic, talk about what husbands and wives can each do differently, and explore how couples can break the pressure/rejection cycle and build a more mutually passionate marriage.

  20. 499. Why Does the Pursuit Stop After Marriage? with Therapist Austin

    Show notes

Why do we put so much effort into winning our spouse’s heart while dating, only to slowly stop doing those same things once we’re married?

In this episode of the Ultimate Intimacy Podcast, Nick and Amy sit down with marriage therapist Austin, LMFT, to talk about one of the most common traps couples fall into: getting comfortable and unintentionally stopping the pursuit.

When you were dating, you probably made time for each other, planned dates, flirted, showed affection, listened closely, expressed appreciation, and looked for ways to make the other person feel wanted. But after marriage, careers, kids, responsibilities, stress, and everyday life can slowly take over. Before long, spouses can start feeling more like roommates than lovers.

So what happens when we stop pursuing each other? And more importantly, how do we start again?

Nick, Amy, and Austin discuss why continuing to pursue your spouse is essential for emotional and sexual intimacy, how small efforts can make a huge difference, and why feeling wanted, chosen, and prioritized matters so much in a healthy marriage.

You worked hard to win your spouse’s heart. Don’t stop pursuing it just because you already have it.
