  1. Why Smart CEOs Put Humans First and AI Second, with Dave Behar

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Everyone is talking about AI. But what does a CEO who has built, exited and defended brands actually do with it? In this episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, I sit down with Dave Behar, founder of ION, the network of champions, and a self-described Chief Executive Athlete. Dave was part of the early days of Hotmail, built brand programs for the Pac-10, and now leads a platform of more than 25,000 hyperlocal channels across sports, health, music and kids.

If you lead a company, this conversation is a practical look at leadership, growth and scale. Dave explains why EVERYTHING STARTS WITH THE BRAND, why a written playbook lets a team scale from local to national to global, and why he protects his intellectual property while staying flexible enough to pivot, like a good athlete. We also get honest about AI and business. Dave’s position: AI belongs in the toolbox as a supplement, not out front, and the smartest way to scale is still with good human ingenuity.

We also dig into how to measure and monitor success, why small wins matter, how to stand out in a noisy market by staying authentic, and how to build your winning squad, including fractional relationships when a full-time bench is not in the budget.

In this episode you will learn:

    • Why a strong brand and a documented playbook make growth repeatable

    • How to decide where AI belongs in your business and where it does not

    • Why metrics and micro-wins matter, and why you should define success your own way

    • How to protect what you have built while staying open to feedback and pivots

    • How to assemble the right team around you, even on a tight budget

    • What determination really means for a leader with an exit strategy

  2. Is Digital Ad Fraud Draining Your Marketing Budget? with Anna Covert

    Season 2, Episode 172

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Is your marketing budget reaching real customers, or is a growing share of it being eaten by bots?

In this episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, Jaclyn Strominger sits down with Anna Covert, founder and CEO of Covert Communication, one of Hawai'i's leading digital agencies and a nationally recognized firm in technology consulting and full-funnel digital marketing. Anna is the Forbes Books author of The Covert Code: Mastering the Art of Digital Marketing, a number one new release on Amazon, and she hosts The Covert Code Podcast, which has more than 250,000 subscribers on YouTube.

If you are a CEO, founder or business owner spending money on Google Ads, Facebook ads or programmatic advertising, this conversation gives you a practical way to protect your investment. Anna shares why she believes bot and non-human traffic has climbed from about 30% to about 60% since her book came out in 2024, how the online ad exchange really works, and one Google Ads location setting she says can waste 30 to 50% of a budget.

In this episode you will learn:

    • The one question to ask any agency before you sign: how can you prove my ad ran?
    • Why you should never set and forget your ads, or trust an algorithm to bid on your behalf
    • How to read ad frequency, and why seeing your ad once or twice rarely builds trust
    • Red flags that point to fraud, including geofencing promises that sound too good to be true
    • How to map your customer journey, build a budget around your objective, and avoid pulling back too soon
    • Why time decay, constant discounts and old data can quietly hurt your results

Plus how AI and technology can help your business instead of adding noise.

  3. Bounce Back From a Major Setback With Small Daily Steps, with Victoria Buckmann

    Season 2, Episode 171

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the setback you are in right now is the thing that builds the next version of you? In this episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, host Jaclyn Strominger sits down in person with Victoria Buckmann, a sales leadership strategist and founder of the Life Academy Movement, for a real conversation about how to bounce back from a major setback and create lasting change with small, consistent steps.

Victoria shares what happened when she lost half a million dollars in savings to a financial advisor, the panic attack on a California freeway that became her turning point, and the 3 a.m. moment when the idea of "look inside for everything" came to her. She explains why the people around you matter most when you are down, why limiting beliefs are just perspectives you gave meaning to, and how the words you tell yourself shape your identity, your business, and your results.

If you are a CEO, entrepreneur, or sales leader who feels stuck, or you simply want to know how to change your habits without overwhelm, Victoria breaks down the brain science of fear, the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, and the power of the compound effect. You will leave with simple practices you can start today: slow down, ask yourself better questions, rewrite your self-talk, and take the next tiny step.

In this episode: how to recover from financial loss and failure, how to find your genius and own it, why small consistent actions beat big leaps, how to quiet the fear response in your brain, and how to shift your identity so your goals finally stick.

    Key takeaways

    • Hard things happen for your growth. The setback may be the thing that builds the next version of you.
    • When you are down, lean on people who love you AND tell you the truth. Connection is how Victoria came back.
    • A limiting belief is a perspective you created in a moment and gave meaning to. It is not the truth, and you can clear it.
    • Your self-talk becomes your identity. If you want a different result, change the sentence you keep repeating.
    • Big change comes from tiny steps. Small steps slip past the fear response in your brain, and they compound.
    • Try this today: slow down, get off your phone, and ask yourself one honest question.

  5. From Setback to Startup: How Reid Robinson Invented the X-Leg After 13 Surgeries

    Season 2, Episode 170

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

What do you do when the product you need doesn't exist? Reid Robinson built it in his garage with a MIG welder, Home Depot aluminum and an IKEA cutting board.

In this episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, host Jaclyn Strominger talks with Reid Robinson, inventor and founder of the X-Leg, a wearable, hands-free crutch alternative made in Calgary, Alberta. After a serious car accident and 13 surgeries, Reid struggled with crutches, tried the alternatives on the market, and built the first X-Leg himself between surgeries.

Reid walks through the founder side of the story: searching the patent databases before filing, iterative engineering (build it, test it, find the problems, go back), designing for 52 size combinations, selling through his own website, and winning a local startup pitch competition that began with 52 companies. He also gets candid about the hard parts: why physiotherapy clinics and the healthcare system are slow to adopt a new device, why product awareness is his biggest challenge, and the clinical studies he hopes will lead to insurance coverage. Reid is careful to say he makes no medical claims until the clinical data is in.

In this episode you will learn

    • How a personal problem became a patented product
    • Why Reid searched the patent databases before building, and what he asked himself when nothing existed
    • How iterative engineering got the X-Leg to a version designed to fit about 95% of people
    • Why healthcare is slow to adopt something new, and what 'standard of care' means for a new device
    • What a pitch competition win changed: leaving IT to go full-time, marketing investment and higher-volume manufacturing
    • Why product awareness is the hardest part of launching a physical product

    About Reid Robinson

Reid Robinson is the inventor and founder of the X-Leg, a wearable, hands-free crutch alternative made in Calgary, Alberta. After a serious car accident and 13 surgeries, he built the first prototype himself, then spent years refining it into a product sold through xleg.ca.

  6. Write a Book That Builds Authority (and Avoid the Scams) | Kevin Anderson

    Season 2, Episode 168

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Thinking about writing a book? A survey Kevin Anderson cites says 85% of Americans have thought about it, and only 5% ever finish.

In this episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, host Jaclyn Strominger talks with Kevin Anderson, bestselling author and founder and CEO of Kevin Anderson & Associates (KAA), a book writing, editing and publishing firm with in-house teams in the United States and the UK. Kevin explains why a book is one of the strongest authority-building assets a CEO, founder or business leader can own, and why you should not expect book sales to pay the bills.

Kevin shares how a tutoring business he started while studying at Harvard grew into a firm that works on about 500 books a year with clients in 75 countries. He explains why he hired people who had edited bestsellers instead of trying to do it all himself, how to weigh paid chapter and co-author offers, why AI cannot replace your unique experience, and how to spot the fake agents, fake publishers and AI-written pitches that target new authors.

In this episode you will learn

    • Why the authors who finish a book are the ones who get help and accountability
    • Why you do not have to "arrive" before you write: your lessons help the people one step behind you
    • How to judge a book's real return: authority, press, podcast invitations and speaking fees versus book sales
    • Why Kevin says to be careful paying for a chapter in someone else's book
    • How to protect yourself from book scams, including AI-generated emails and made-up credentials
    • Why traditional publishers care about AI-written manuscripts, and why your raw human experience is the edge

33:21 Book scams and AI writing: how to protect yourself

  7. Why Your Business Feels Harder Than It Should: Process Mapping and Automation with Jimena Serfaty

    Season 2, Episode 168

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever looked at something inside your business and wondered why it is so much harder than it should be? Operations and automation specialist Jimena Serfaty joins Jaclyn Strominger on the Unstoppable Success Podcast to explain why. Jimena works with service-based business owners on process mapping, systems, strategy, automation and implementation, and she never starts with a tool. She starts with questions. In this leadership and business growth conversation, you will hear why so many small businesses hit a ceiling without an operations foundation, why chasing popular platforms leaves you with ten tools that do not talk to each other, how to spot the early warning signs that you have outgrown your current system, and a free way to find out where your time really goes. If you run a company and want fewer manual tasks, smarter automation and a business that scales with clarity and momentum, start here.

    In this episode:

    - Why most businesses stall without an operations foundation, and how a simple process map shows you what is missing

    - Why following every popular platform leaves you with tools that do not talk to each other, and create more work

    - The early warning signs you have outgrown your process: manual reminders, workarounds and hours of hidden admin

    - A free way to see where your time goes: track every minute you work for two weeks

    - How to find the real bottleneck (technology, process or people) by asking questions, then test, measure and adjust

    - How Jimena landed her first client before her contracts and invoicing were fully set up

    Season 2, Episode 166

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

What do civil engineering, a bank merger, and a message written on a pillow have in common? They all led Emily Atlantis Wolf to the work she was meant to do.

On this episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, I sit down with Emily Atlantis Wolf, intuition teacher, medical massage therapist, and self-described "human bridge." Emily has worked with more than 3,000 clients. Today she leads a 6-month Intuition Academy and hosts spiritual tourist retreats around the world.

If you are a leader or entrepreneur who feels stuck, this conversation will help you find the thing that makes your heart sing.

    In this episode:

    • Why Emily earned both an English degree and a civil engineering degree
    • The bank merger that let go of 1,200 consultants in one day, and why security is an illusion

A patient who felt uncomfortable in a traditional gown left Shawn Gibbs's clinic without having a concerning mole examined. She returned about a month later, and the mole was diagnosed as melanoma. Shawn cannot say what would have happened with an earlier exam, but the experience made him ask a powerful question: Why accept a patient experience that leaves people feeling exposed?

Shawn, CEO and co-founder of GIV Gowns, joins Jaclyn Strominger to share how he spent three years developing patient attire with more thoughtful access and coverage. He also shares how existing relationships helped him find manufacturing partners, why he made direct asks to build new opportunities, and how he stays connected to his purpose when progress is slow.

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

What if a full calendar is hiding the one thing your business needs most?

Jaclyn Strominger talks with Lena Khais about the human side of business growth. Lena explains why the label “small business” can narrow a founder’s sense of possibility, why growth calls for more capacity than an old identity can hold, and how unclear priorities can turn busyness into what she calls “performative avoidance.”

They also explore two deceptively simple questions: “What do I want?” and “What would having that give me?” Lena shares how she distinguishes work that is hard because it is new from work that feels heavy, and why that difference matters when deciding what to pursue.

If you lead a business and feel busy without moving forward, this conversation offers a practical place to pause, question your focus, and choose your next action.

  16. How Your Gut Health Drives Leadership & Peak Performance With Dr. Sal

    Season 2, Episode 157

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Can your gut health actually determine how successful you are as a leader? According to Dr. Suleiman Bharwani — known as Dr. Sal — the answer is a resounding yes. In this eye-opening episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, host Jaclyn Strominger sits down with the board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist and founder of Gut Rewired to explore the powerful connection between your gut microbiome, brain function, and overall performance.

Dr. Sal shares a staggering fact: our bodies contain 38 trillion microbes compared to just 30 trillion human cells, meaning we are literally more bacteria than human. These microorganisms aren't passive passengers — they're running a 24/7 factory that influences everything from immunity and energy levels to anxiety, depression, cognitive function, and even skin health. When the microbiome weakens from poor diet and lifestyle choices, inflammation takes over, leading to chronic illness, brain fog, afternoon slumps, and diminished leadership capacity.

The conversation dives deep into Dr. Sal's practical 7-pillar plan for gut health, organized A through G: Avoid harmful emulsifiers, seed oils, and artificial sweeteners; practice diaphragmatic Breathing; Count 30+ different plants per week and eat colorful, antioxidant-rich foods; Drink plenty of water; prioritize Early sleep; practice 12-to-14-hour Fasting windows; and Go — move your body, especially a 10-minute walk after every meal.

Dr. Sal challenges the common approach of treating symptoms with prescriptions, explaining that he actually takes patients off medications and instead writes "prescriptions" for families to find new colorful plants at the grocery store. He emphasizes that commercial probiotics are largely unnecessary if you eat fermented foods like yogurt, kimchi, kefir, and sourdough bread. He also highlights the overlooked power of nuts, seeds, lentils, and chickpeas, noting that a daily handful of raw nuts reduces cardiovascular and colon cancer risks by 17%.

In a compelling message to business leaders, Dr. Sal asks: Would you run your company on corrupted data? Yet that's exactly what leaders do when they neglect their biological optimization. With 65% of employees reporting GI issues in any given month, gut health isn't just personal — it's a bottom-line business concern.

  17. Turning Down a Pro Contract to Redefine Success: Kenneth Kollasch

    Season 2, Episode 156

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

What do you do when the opportunity you've always dreamed of finally shows up — and taking it means chasing someone else's definition of success instead of your own? Kenneth Kollasch had a professional soccer contract in Brazil in hand at 21 years old, and one question from his grandfather over dinner made him realize it wasn't what he actually wanted.

In this episode, Kenneth Kollasch joins Jaclyn to unpack the moment that redirected his entire life: walking away from professional soccer once he realized what he truly valued — presence, family, and fulfillment over a path that only looked like winning — and how that same clarity now runs five businesses without running him into the ground. It's a conversation about defining success on your own terms, building a "tribe" that will tell you the truth, and choosing fulfillment over the path everyone else would call a win.

    About Kenneth Kollasch:

Kenneth Kollasch turned down a professional soccer contract to build a life with his wife, Caroline — together, they became international ballroom dance champions. He went on to serve as a pastor, become an entrepreneur, and publish his book, Beating Average: A Story to Extraordinary. Today, Kenneth is a certified business coach and founder of Kenneth Coaches, and a third-generation entrepreneur who now runs five businesses while helping small-business owners build businesses they love.

What you'll learn in this episode:

    • How one gut-check question from his grandfather reversed a life-defining career decision — and how to build that kind of honest "tribe" into your own life.
    • Why Kenneth deliberately trades speed and scale for fulfillment, including giving partners equity in four of his five businesses so he can stay focused instead of stretched thin.
    • The two-tool system he uses to run five businesses at once without burning out.
    • His mindset shift from "make a decision and make it right" to "make a decision — you can always make another one," and why that unlocks acting now instead of waiting for a safer someday.
    • The one trait he screens for before promoting anyone into leadership — and it isn't experience.

Today, Kenneth runs five businesses, including his consulting firm Kenneth Coaches, where he helps small business owners 2X their revenue in two years through intensive coaching and proven frameworks. He also co-owns a production company called Production ROI, a dropshipping business, a physical product company, and a media company with its own podcast.

Kenneth shares the secret to managing multiple ventures without burning out: staying in his lane, partnering with people who fill his gaps, and prioritizing relationships over revenue. He discusses the power of saying no, the importance of humility in leadership, and why generosity is the best operating system for a fulfilling life.

Listeners will also hear about two planning tools Kenneth swears by the Here on a Mission digital life planner and the Full Focus Planner — both available as free resources on his website. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, this episode is packed with practical wisdom on building a business and a life you truly love.

  19. Stop People-Pleasing and Say Yes to Yourself | Pearl Chiarenza on Boundaries, Grief & Self-Care

    Season 2, Episode 155

    Show notes

How often do you say yes to everyone else — and leave yourself for last?

In this episode of Unstoppable Success, Jaclyn Strominger sits down with Pearl Chiarenza, creator of the SHERO Method and founder of Women’s Successful Living, for a powerful conversation about boundaries, self-care, joy, grief, relationships, and living with purpose.

Pearl shares the moment she realized that years of motherhood, volunteering, and taking care of everyone around her had pushed her own needs to the bottom of the list. She explains how a surprisingly simple object — a rock — became part of her practice for learning to say no, protecting her energy, and finally saying yes to herself.

They also explore why creating a Joy List can help you reconnect with who you are, how loss reshaped Pearl’s perspective on life and legacy, and why meaningful relationships and community are essential to success. Pearl also introduces the SHERO concept — Strong, Happy, Empowered, Radiant, and Original — and the importance of creating space for self-discovery before life forces you to.

This episode is for anyone who has ever felt stretched too thin, guilty for setting a boundary, disconnected from what brings them joy, or ready to make a more intentional choice about how they live and what they leave behind.

  20. Why Your Business Stopped Growing with Jaclyn Strominger

    Season 2, Episode 154

    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the reason your business has plateaued isn’t the economy, your competitors, or your marketing strategy?

What if you’ve simply stopped using your voice?

In this solo episode of the Unstoppable Success Podcast, Jaclyn Strominger explores the connection between leadership communication, business growth, relationship capital, and visibility—and why going quiet can quietly cap your revenue.

After two powerful experiences involving her children—watching her 20-year-old daughter speak up in the workplace and dropping her son off at college—Jaclyn recognized the same pattern she sees in CEOs, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses: growth often starts slowing down when leaders stop communicating, asking, and showing up.

    In this episode, you’ll discover:

    • Why silence at the top quickly becomes a leadership problem
    • How poor communication creates uncertainty inside your team
    • Why relationships don’t turn into revenue until you make the ask
    • How “safe” content can make your personal brand forgettable
    • Why founders and CEOs need to remain visible as their businesses grow
    • How uncomfortable conversations can prevent small problems from becoming bigger ones
    • The three places leaders most often stop using their voice: their team, their network, and their visibility

Your voice helped build your business in the beginning. It may also be the thing that gets you through your next plateau.

Your challenge after listening: choose one place where you’ve gone quiet and do one uncomfortable, voice-forward thing today.

Stand in front of your team.
    Make the ask.
    Say the thing.
    Start the conversation.

Because relationships don’t convert to revenue by themselves. They convert when you ask.
