The Gita Rai Interview.
Season 13, Episode 19
Show notes
Who takes care of the people whose job is taking care of everyone else?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, writer, and mental-health-and-wellness advocate Gita Rai for a focused conversation about compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, therapist burnout, professional boundaries, trauma and purpose, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and culturally responsive mental-health care.
Gita’s professional work includes anxiety, mood concerns, acculturative stress, grief and loss, life transitions, and neurodivergent experiences, with clinical approaches including humanistic and person-centered therapy, existential work, and EMDR.
The conversation begins with the helpers themselves.
What happens when therapists, healthcare workers, counselors, caregivers, and other professionals spend years absorbing other people’s distress?
How do burnout, compassion fatigue, secondary traumatic stress, and vicarious trauma differ? And when does telling an exhausted professional to practice more “self-care” ignore the possibility that the workplace itself needs to change?Research from CDC has underscored that burnout among health workers is not simply an individual resilience issue; demanding working conditions matter, while supportive supervision, adequate time, and trust in management are associated with better outcomes.
Coach Dini and Gita also examine the pressure many women experience to keep functioning for everybody else, why high performance can conceal distress, and how therapists can think about career changes without automatically treating change as professional failure.
They then tackle another important idea:
Trauma doesn’t owe us an inspirational success story.
Can someone find meaning after trauma without calling the trauma itself a gift? Does every painful experience need to become a profession, movement, book, or achievement? Or can recovery and an ordinary meaningful life be enough?
The conversation also explores misconceptions surrounding PTSD, anxiety, and depression; the risks of turning clinical terminology into casual social-media language; and the cultural and access questions raised by national mental-health treatment disparities.
This conversation isn’t about teaching people to care less.
It’s about learning how to care sustainably—without losing yourself in the process.

The 2Raww Interview.
Season 13, Episode 18
Show notes
What happens when Rapunzel stops waiting to be rescued, grabs a microphone, and builds her own hip-hop universe?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with Baltimore hip-hop artist, poet, and songwriter 2RAWW The RAWWEST ahead of the October 28, 2026 release of her upcoming project, Rawwpunzel.
Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in West Baltimore’s Park Heights neighborhood, 2RAWW has developed a high-energy sound she calls “Raww & B,” blending raw emotion, confidence, lyricism, melody, and storytelling.
A two-time Baltimore Female Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, 2RAWW has performed for crowds exceeding 2,000, opened for artists including Dave East, and continued building her catalog through releases such as Rawwmance.
But Rawwpunzel represents an even more conceptual chapter.Coach Dini and 2RAWW break down the idea behind transforming the classic princess archetype into an edgy hip-hop persona, how music and visual storytelling work together inside the project, and how she plans to make the Rawwpunzel character memorable without allowing the concept to overshadow the artist behind it.
They also explore what Raww & B actually means, how her poetry background influences high-energy records, what Rawwmance taught her about creating this next body of work, and how Baltimore’s culture appears in her music without becoming forced branding.
2RAWW also discusses navigating today’s crowded hip-hop landscape without chasing existing formulas, the professional lessons she’s learned from performing in front of large audiences, and whether Rawwpunzel could eventually expand beyond music into a larger visual and creative property.
Rawwpunzel arrives Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
This isn’t simply about introducing another princess.
It’s about introducing one who decided she never needed permission to leave the tower.

The Bam Bam Interview.
Season 13, Episode 17
Show notes
Anybody can hold a microphone.
What does it take to actually command the room?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with Baltimore media personality, radio personality, professional MC, writer, content creator, and community advocate Bam Bam—better known as “The Crazy Girl on the Mic.”
Bam Bam’s broadcasting journey stretches from Hawk Radio at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore through multiple radio platforms across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Her work eventually expanded into professional event hosting, digital content, journalism, and community leadership, including a major September 2026 milestone hosting Charm City Live.
But this conversation isn’t simply a résumé walkthrough.
Coach Dini and Bam Bam get into the craft behind the personality—how professional hosts read difficult rooms, recover from dead energy, balance entertainment with event objectives, and understand when to command attention versus when to give the stage back to somebody else.
They also explore how Kicking It With Bam is evolving as a media platform, the difference between authenticity and oversharing, creating meaningful content without becoming controlled by algorithms, and how writing for The Uncutt and BLK has forced Bam Bam to communicate differently when her voice and live energy aren’t available to carry the message.
The conversation also examines the operational vision behind The Village Project Foundation and The Village Walk, focusing on how community-centered events can become lasting resources, relationships, and meaningful support rather than simply one-day experiences.
From radio studios to major stages, digital storytelling, writing, and community-building, Bam Bam’s philosophy comes down to something bigger than being handed the microphone:
What are you going to do with it once it’s yours?

The Bizzy Bone Interview.
Season 13, Episode 16
Show notes
Fourteen years of conversations. The people who made my journey matter.
Few people are more connected to the origin of Vigilantes Radio Live than Bizzy Bone.
Dini first discovered Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s music in 1997 and, while still in high school, imagined that one day he would somehow meet and work alongside Bizzy. In 2010, a mutual friend named Byron from Texas finally connected the two by phone. What followed evolved from fandom into mentorship, 7th Sign, management, leadership, brotherhood and eventually a genuine business partnership.
But another idea would become equally important.
When traditional radio and industry gatekeepers weren’t creating opportunities for independent artists,
Bizzy encouraged a different response:
Build your own platform.
Dini brought that philosophy to life.
Fourteen years later, Vigilantes Radio Live is still standing. This special conversation begins with two Bizzy Bone and Twista collaborations separated by nearly two decades—“Money” and the new Mozaic Art collaboration “The Truth”—opening the door to the complicated history between Bone, Twista and the Midwest’s rapid-fire rap movement before examining what reconciliation, competition and mutual respect look like decades later. “Money” appeared during Bizzy’s A Song for You era, while “The Truth” brings the two artists together again on Mozaic Art.
Bizzy also opens up about a Jamie Foxx collaboration that didn’t make Mozaic Art, a new record in development with Katt Williams, and his expanding ambitions in film as he discusses the developing biopic and the conversations surrounding Adam Sandler and Netflix.
Then nothing is off limits.
Bizzy and Dini examine the complicated history of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the reputation Bizzy carried during some of the group’s most turbulent years, independence versus brotherhood, business disagreements, public controversy, fan entitlement, apologies, ownership and what it means to protect a legendary name without becoming trapped inside it.
The conversation also returns home to Cleveland.
Bizzy discusses plans surrounding property, a multi-use playground, BTNH Way and a larger vision centered on economic development, community ownership and creating systems where resources can circulate inside the neighborhoods that helped create Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Then things become personal.
When did Dini stop being a fan and become somebody Bizzy trusted with his business?
What did Dini have to unlearn about his musical hero after getting close enough to know the man?
What has each man given the other?
And what does Bizzy see when he looks at the radio platform that grew from an idea he helped plant? The final fifteen minutes transition into a special Family Man Movement segment presented by Pastor K-ICE, bringing the conversation home to faith, fatherhood, family, accountability, leadership and the man behind the public legacy.
VRL will also host an upcoming dedicated Mozaic Art Listening Party, allowing Bizzy’s latest album to receive a deeper conversation of its own. This isn’t simply an interview with Bizzy Bone.
It’s a conversation between two men looking at what happened after an idea became real.
Bizzy Bone. Coach Dini. Pastor K-ICE.
Build your own table. Then make room for somebody else.

The Princess Anne Interview.
Season 13, Episode 15
Show notes
How do you turn different definitions of love, Greek mythology, global sounds, keyboards, and expressive guitar into one musical world?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with singer-songwriter and keyboardist Princess Anne to explore “Eternity,” her collaboration with guitarist Steve Shredder, and the creative process behind two albums released within the same year—Phoenix Crest and Amphitrite Rising.
“Eternity,” from Amphitrite Rising, approaches romance through an unusual lens: imagining the qualities of a “perfect man” from the perspectives of multiple women. Princess Anne breaks down how those perspectives became a song, why eternity became its emotional destination, and how her trained vocal range interacts with Steve Shredder’s expressive guitar work and the track’s shimmering production.
The conversation also goes inside her long-running creative partnership with Steve, including how two musicians with distinct voices make room for surprise, disagreement, and musical ideas capable of communicating without lyrics.
Coach Dini and Princess Anne explore the decision to release two albums in one year, the creative differences between Phoenix Crest and Amphitrite Rising, and how time spent in Greece allowed mythology, landscape, and cultural stories to influence the latter project. They also discuss why the keyboard remains the soul of Princess Anne’s creative process, how international instruments and sounds continue expanding her musical vocabulary, and why examining different human perspectives has become a recurring thread throughout her songwriting.
From ancient stories to modern production, this conversation is ultimately about what happens when an artist refuses to separate storytelling, musicianship, atmosphere, and human connection.

The Jeff Arnold Interview.
Season 13, Episode 14
Show notes
Does your company actually need more technology—or does it need better judgment about the technology it already has?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with five-time bestselling author and RIGHTSURE founder Jeff Arnold for a focused conversation around his project Clarity Among Humans & Machines and one of the biggest leadership challenges facing modern organizations:
How do we embrace artificial intelligence without losing the human qualities that make businesses worth trusting?
Jeff argues that these aren’t simply technology decisions. They’re leadership decisions. The conversation explores how organizations can separate meaningful innovation from expensive distraction, use AI to increase human capacity rather than seeing it only as a way to reduce headcount, identify where customers want speed and where they still need human connection, and build employee trust before introducing major technological change.
Coach Dini and Jeff also tackle multigenerational AI adoption, decision-making when dashboards become overwhelming, protecting organizational culture while pursuing efficiency, accountability when algorithms make recommendations, and an intriguing possibility:
If every company eventually has powerful technology, could humanity become the competitive advantage?
Then Jeff enters The Hot Seat: Human, Machine…or Both?, where real-world leadership scenarios force him to decide exactly where AI belongs—and where human judgment still needs the final word. This isn’t a conversation about fearing technology.
It’s about becoming wise enough to use it without surrendering the things technology was supposed to help us protect.

Rihab Noamiy Interview.
Season 13, Episode 13
Show notes
Can a love story also preserve a world?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with debut novelist Rihab Noaimy to explore A Postcard from Manchester to An-Nasiriyah: The Story of Aziza and Fadhil, a historical novel set between 1940s Iraq and postwar Manchester.
At the center of the story are Aziza, a young woman determined to reclaim her education in a traditional household, and Fadhil, an aspiring engineer and artist whose scholarship takes him thousands of miles away to England.
Their relationship begins quietly on a rooftop and grows through conversations, drawings, secrecy, and letters carried across continents. But this conversation goes far beyond the romance.
Coach Dini and Rihab explore why education becomes an act of courage for Aziza, how historical fiction can portray tradition without reducing it to stereotype, what Manchester represents in Fadhil’s journey, and why handwritten letters create an emotional tension that instant communication cannot reproduce.
They also discuss the novel’s portrait of an Iraq defined by family, faith, food, education, courtship, neighborhood life, and ambition rather than only the conflicts that later came to dominate international perceptions of the country.
Rihab explains the role of patience and gratitude in the story, the importance of showing change emerging from within families, the symbolic meaning behind the book’s title, and how historical fiction balances research, memory, and imagination.
A Postcard from Manchester to An-Nasiriyah is a story about love, education, sacrifice, cultural memory, and the quiet forms of courage that can change a life long before they change a society.

The Ali Malvo Interview.
Season 13, Episode 12
Show notes
What actually happens between finishing a manuscript and holding a professionally published book?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with Ali Malvo, Senior Project Manager for Writers of the West, for a behind-the-scenes look at the project-management side of modern publishing.
Writers of the West works with authors across writing, editing, design, publishing, distribution, and marketing—which means successful book development requires far more than simply moving a manuscript from one department to another.
Ali breaks down how a book project is scoped from the beginning, what determines a realistic publishing timeline, why some stages can’t safely be rushed, and how writers, editors, designers, publishing specialists, marketers, and authors stay aligned around one creative vision.
The conversation also tackles author-editor disagreements, revision fatigue, quality control, launch readiness, communication breakdowns, unrealistic deadlines, author responsibilities, managing sales expectations, and what happens when a publishing project begins falling behind.
Coach Dini and Ali also explore how marketing considerations should influence decisions long before release day, where artificial intelligence can improve publishing workflows, and what authors should understand about the difference between finishing a book and successfully managing a book project.
Whether you’re holding a rough manuscript, approaching publication, or trying to understand why your book project keeps stalling, this conversation goes inside the part of publishing readers rarely see:

What happens after heartbreak—but before you’re ready to fall in love again?
For pop-dance duo CX2 Ryder, that emotional space became “Heal on the Dance Floor,” a retro-inspired dance record blending ’70s influence, ’80s energy, and modern synth-pop around the idea that sometimes healing begins by allowing yourself to experience joy again.
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with real-life couple and creative partners Ryder West and CX2 for a deeper conversation about love, collaboration, representation, healing, and what happens when two very different creative voices have to become one without losing what makes either of them unique.
The duo opens up about turning their relationship into music, navigating creative disagreements with the person they love, becoming the representation they wished they’d seen growing up, and the responsibility of showing possibility without pretending relationships are perfect.
They also unpack the meaning behind “Heal on the Dance Floor,” their growing radio success following “Connection,” and their ambitious 2027 debut album Connection—an eight-track concept project featuring one song representing each year of their life together.

What happens when the doctor searching for ways to help people and the artist searching for ways to move people are the same person?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with Sri Lankan-born, Australia-based physician and multidisciplinary artist Dr. Kanchanamala “Kanchi” Ranasinghe for a conversation about medicine, music, cultural identity, creativity, and the human desire for peace.
Kanchi grew up surrounded by theatre, later pursued medicine, studied sitar and Northern Indian Hindustani music, and eventually built an artistic career spanning singing, songwriting, composition, acting, filmmaking, music direction, and production. Her work has earned international recognition, but her newest single, “Heal This World,” points toward something larger than awards.
Inspired during a train journey through Japan, the song grew from a question about what might happen if people shared more love, kindness, happiness, and humanity with each other.
Coach Dini explores what Kanchi learned from her remarkable artistic upbringing, why she returned to formal music study after establishing herself as a medical specialist, how medicine influenced the way she listens to people, the responsibility that comes with using the word “healing,” and whether changing the world first requires changing what we’re contributing to it.
They also explore her multicultural identity, upcoming film work, the difference between recognition and purpose, and what remains when professional titles disappear.
“Heal This World” is available now on YouTube.
This is a conversation about what happens when science studies the human being while art continues searching for the humanity inside us.

The Head Ball Coach Interview w/MJ.
Season 13, Episode 8
Show notes
What happens when a football fan finds a simulation deep enough to turn Saturdays on the field into year-round strategy?
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with MJ, an active player and advocate for Head Ball Coach, a college football simulation built around the decisions that happen long before kickoff.
MJ isn’t the owner or creator of Head Ball Coach—he’s approaching the conversation from the perspective that matters most to this episode: someone who actually plays the game, studies its systems, competes within its world, and believes more college-football fans should experience what it offers.
Coach Dini and MJ go inside the strategy behind building a successful program—from recruiting and roster development to coaching staffs, transfers, finances, schemes, analytics, long-term planning, and multiplayer competition.
But Head Ball Coach isn’t simply about choosing plays.
It’s about making decisions.
Do you chase immediate wins or build for the future? How much patience do you have when developing talent? What happens when your recruiting plan falls apart? Can you adapt when another player understands your strategy? And how much does the way you build a virtual football program reveal about the way you think about leadership and competition?
MJ also breaks down what drew him into the Head Ball Coach community, why he has become an advocate for the simulation, what separates it from a traditional football video game, and why the rivalry, strategy, and community surrounding it keep him coming back.
If you’re the type of college-football fan who believes the real game begins with recruiting, developing, competing, adjusting, and doing it all over again, this conversation is for you.

The Kyle Torres Interview.
Season 13, Episode 7
Show notes
“Fourteen years of conversations. The people who made my journey matter.”
In this special 14-Year Celebration episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Dini sits down with Kyle Torres for a conversation about faith, leadership, marriage, service, forgiveness, purpose, and learning to trust God before you know exactly where He is leading you.
Dini first met Kyle while serving alongside him through KidsLife at Word of Life Church. Over time, what stood out wasn’t simply Kyle’s ability to speak or lead—it was the humility, kindness, patience, and genuine love for God and people behind the leadership.
Originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Kyle is 27 years old, married to his wife Perla, and currently finishing school while prayerfully considering what God may have planned for his next chapter. His dream is to eventually build a ministry that uses his testimony, experiences, and voice to help people discover the hope and purpose found in Jesus.
Throughout the conversation, Kyle reflects on his testimony, the moment faith became personal, serving and teaching children, becoming a better husband, leading people without needing recognition, and the difference between authority and true influence.
He also discusses forgiveness, representing Christ in everyday leadership, learning to remain faithful in seasons of uncertainty, and the responsibility that comes with asking God for a larger platform.
This episode is less about where Kyle is going and more about the man God is forming before he gets there.
Because sometimes calling isn’t knowing the entire plan.Sometimes calling is simply being faithful with the people and responsibilities God has already placed in front of you.

The Dr. David S. Kountz Interview.
Season 13, Episode 6
Show notes
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini welcomes physician, medical educator, author, and biographer Dr. David S. Kountz for a deeply personal conversation surrounding his book, A Life of Impact: A Biography of Samuel L. Kountz, MD.
Samuel L. Kountz rose from segregated rural Arkansas to become one of the pioneering figures in kidney transplantation. His career included groundbreaking work involving transplantation between non-identical twins, organ preservation, transplant rejection, tissue typing, organ-donation awareness, medical education, and advocacy for greater healthcare access.
But David’s book isn’t simply a list of medical accomplishments.
Drawing from family memories, correspondence, photographs, and historical records, he explores the father behind the surgeon—the racial barriers Samuel confronted, the sacrifices behind innovation, the responsibility of pioneering medicine, and a legacy David believes history has not recognized as fully as it should.
Coach Dini and Dr. Kountz explore what it means to grow up as the son of a medical pioneer, establish your own identity in medicine, revisit a father more than four decades after his passing, and preserve the complete human story behind accomplishments that continue influencing modern healthcare.
This is bigger than a medical biography.
It’s a conversation about fathers and sons.
History and memory.
Recognition and responsibility.
Barriers and possibility.
And the difference between accomplishing something extraordinary…
and making sure future generations understand who made it possible.Welcome to The Frequency of the Fearless—No Surface Talk.

The Kay Marion Interview.
Season 13, Episode 5
Show notes
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with multi-genre vocalist, composer, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist Kay Marion for a conversation about identity, artistry, courage, and refusing to be confined by genre.
Born in Memphis and shaped by a musical upbringing, Kay’s journey took a defining turn when she discovered the work of Marian Anderson at just eight years old. That moment opened her eyes to the connection between Black excellence and the classical tradition and helped shape the artist she would eventually become.
Today, Kay moves fluidly through classical music, neo-soul, R&B, jazz, pop, theatre, and composition while continuing to build a sound entirely her own.
Joined by The Neo-Symphony, Kay blends orchestral sophistication with the emotional depth of Black contemporary music, creating performances that challenge expectations while honoring the musical traditions that came before her.
The conversation also explores her companion projects Fire. and Water., two expressions of the same artist that reflect strength, vulnerability, contrast, and the belief that every part of who we are deserves room to exist and evolve.
Kay also looks ahead to her upcoming CAU Homecoming Brunch performance at City Winery Atlanta on October 18, 2026.This is a conversation about becoming whole without becoming smaller.

The Larry Beauchamp Interview.
Season 13, Episode 4
Show notes
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with Dr. Larry Beauchamp—Air Force veteran, retired pastor, theologian, author, musician, and nursing-home minister—for a conversation about what it means to keep serving even after one chapter of life comes to a close.
After his military career, Dr. Beauchamp spent 27 years in pastoral ministry, serving seven churches before stepping into a new calling: bringing encouragement, music, and ministry to nursing-home residents, including those in memory care.
The conversation also explores his novel, Justice at Tyler, Texas: The Justice Series Part 2, where faith, law, morality, violence, and corrupted spiritual authority collide through the story of Texas Ranger Jimmy Snider.
Coach Dini and Dr. Beauchamp discuss the difference between justice and revenge, the responsibility that comes with spiritual leadership, the power of music to awaken memory, and how decades of ministry have shaped the way he writes about right, wrong, mercy, and consequence.
From military service to the pulpit, from the nursing home to the written page, Dr. Beauchamp’s journey is a reminder that purpose does not retire simply because a title does.

The Amy Hawk Interview.
Season 13, Episode 3
Show notes
On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini welcomes nurse practitioner, entrepreneur, and children’s author Amy Hawk for a story-driven conversation about courage, imagination, representation, and rethinking the traditional fairy tale.
Amy is the creator of The Tales of Rumpus, a magical family adventure centered on Princess Caitlin, a determined young royal who sets out to prove she is ready to rule. Along the way, Caitlin encounters challenges, builds friendships, confronts fear, and discovers that becoming a leader requires much more than simply wearing a crown.
Inspired after the birth of her niece, Amy began questioning whether the fairy tales many children grow up with still reflect the world they live in today. Her answer was to create a different kind of princess—one who doesn’t wait to be saved but learns to trust her own strength, voice, kindness, and ability to lead.
Coach Dini and Amy explore how her work in emergency medicine has influenced the way she understands courage and compassion, what children can learn from overcoming self-doubt, why representation goes deeper than appearance, and how The Tales of Rumpus became the beginning of an expanding fictional universe.
They also discuss balancing medicine, entrepreneurship, and creativity—and the powerful idea that sometimes the greatest obstacle between a child and their dream is simply believing they aren’t capable of achieving it.

The Michael Piccard Interview.
Season 12, Episode 124
Show notes
“Fourteen years of conversations. The people who made my journey matter.”
In this special 14-Year Celebration episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Dini sits down with longtime friend and former collaborator Michael Piccard for one of the most personal conversations of the series.
Their story stretches back nearly two decades, beginning during the SoundClick era when Dini first discovered Michael’s music while he was still in high school. What followed became years of friendship, collaboration, membership in the 7th Sign Regime, creative work alongside artists connected to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and the formation of their musical duo, No Longer the Hero.
But their history also includes unfinished projects, missed opportunities, long periods without speaking, and questions that were never fully answered.
Michael opens up about how his mental health shaped his ambitions, fears, relationships, and ability to show up creatively. He reflects on what he describes as a decade-long depression, his experience with therapy and EMDR, and the awakening that helped him reconnect with parts of himself he thought he had lost.
The conversation also explores their shared love of music, Michael’s connection to The Beatles, his new band project The Mourning Of with Jordan McNary, and what creating from a healthier place means to him today.
At the center of the episode is their late friend and collaborator Gabriel “Poegosi” Cota, the original third member of The 3 Amigos Podcast alongside Michael and Dini. Michael also shares his rendition of “Hallelujah” as a special dedication to Gabriel.
This is a conversation about friendship after damage, understanding what was happening beneath the surface, grieving lost time, forgiveness, music, depression, healing, and discovering whether two people can move forward without pretending the difficult chapters never happened.
Sometimes understanding doesn’t erase the past.
It simply allows you to finally see it from the other person’s side.
