Klein/Ally Show: The Podcast

Today was another eventful one, with comedian Fortune Feimster joining the show, an Annoynimous with Vanessa on the hot seat, and Ally got on a treadmill as part of our continued Wheel of Wellness. She will have to walk on a walking pad for the remainder of the week, and hopefully it will take her a few days to fall on her ass on the livestream.

We got our first official endorsement for our affordable parking campaign. The general manager of the Bellwether joined us on the show today to support the Fight For Your Right to Parky petition, and explain how they continue to keep parking affordable in and around their theater.

Fortune Feimster and Ally got into a Lez-off today, and Ally was about to run away with it until Fortune revealed her biggest lesbian accomplishment: singing onstage with Alanis Morissette. Ally did get points for her Subaru and vest collection, though.

Plus Vanessa gets heated when she anonymously share the things that annoy us about her in Annoynimous, a new round of Netflix/NOTflix, and Klein gets scammed by a door-to-door christmas light company.

It was a busy post-halloween Monday. Legendary hockey champion Luc Robitaille stopped by the studio to talk about Kings hockey, and we got an unexpected call from a listener who's signed Robitaille poster was eaten by his dog many years ago. Luc took it upon himself to sign a new poster for the guy, a poster of his likeness that was hand-drawn by Klein.

If you've ever heard of the Brown Bag Morning Show, you know the name Rosecrans Vic. He co-created the Brown Bag Podcast which developed a huge following and eventually debuted on Power 106 in 2023. Unfortunately Vic experienced what Klein & Ally have experienced more than once: he was unexpectedly fired. We spoke to Vic in person today about the drama behind his exit, the brutal industry of radio, and who on the show he could potentially replace (aka Jake).

Can We Return It? Today we called local businesses trying to return non-returnable Halloween items, like pumpkins and costumes. We were not successful, but we did make some shop owners very very angry.

Plus Klein's approach this year to hand out full size candy bars for trick or treating, Ally's new war against claw machines, and a mystery can of corned beef hash.

We dressed up, gave you our prized personal possessions for trick or treating, had a listener face her biggest fear for Almost Acoustic Christmas tickets, talked to a Spirit Halloween employee, and talked to Weezer! It was an eventful day to say the least.

Kisha, aka Giggles, has had a debilitating fear of cotton balls her whole life. She also really wants to go to Almost Acoustic Christmas this year. So she joined us in-studio and jumped into a kiddy pool full of cotton balls. She screamed, she giggled, she swore on live radio, and we love her for showing incredible bravery and class in a very uncomfortable situation.

Brian from Weezer called in to get us excited about Almost Acoustic, and he accepted Ally's offer to co-sing with Rivers Cuomo on the song Go Away. And by accepted we mean he just wrote 'go away' on a piece of paper.
