On October 28, 2026, San DIego FC's hopes of making playoffs are crushed by a resounding defeat at the hands of the Vancouver White Caps with a 4-1 defeat at BC Place. WIth 2 more games left in the season, I reflect on the teams performance this year, the players and the coach, Mikey Varas.

In this Episode I interview Jonathan Sanchez, content creator and host of The Flow SDFC on YouTube and Instagram. We met up at UniSports soccer shop in Kearney Mesa not only to do the show, but to meet and greet with Pedro Soma and Oscar Verhoeven who also got a word or two in the Podcast. San Diego FC fails to gain any points away at Providence Park against the Portland Timbers. Good performances from the new players acquired over the summer, but failing to make a difference in the attacking third proved to be our Achilles heal especially without Anders Dreyer.

Another away win at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles for Azul y Chrome! San Diego FC pull off an upset against bitter rivals Los Angeles FC. Plus, the debut of our new Designated Player Elias Achouri, and a silly new Red Card courtesy of Anders Dreyer to add to our collection for year 2 of our teams existence.

After a fun watch party at Hopnonymous Brewery with the Riptides and my personal favorite Podcast hosts, the Chromaniacs. I re-reviewed San Diego FC's away game the following day and found myself shocked that my opinion changed! Literally changed overnight.

San Diego FC finally gets a win and couldn't happen any sooner! New players have been announced and introduced including our new Designated Player, Elias Achouri from FC Copenhagen.

The 2026 MLS season returns after the World Cup summer break and San Diego FC plays their first game back away against Colorado Rapids.
