EPISODE 78: DIVE INTO REIKI - UNDERSTANDING THE SEASONS' ENERGY WITH BRONWYN AYLA
Bronwyn Ayla, L.Ac., is a clinician who has spent 28 years teaching people how to come alive in their own healing - body, seasons, and spirit. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a Certified Rosen Method Practitioner, and was initiated as a diviner in the Dagara lineage of Burkina Faso in 2021.
She founded the Holistic Medical Arts clinic in Berkeley, where she has practiced for 28 years. Reiki is one thread among several in her work: she has taught it since 1998, trained more than 1,000 practitioners, and wrote The Reiki Handbook: Beginner to Master Level. She now runs the Reiki Mystery School, a year-long apprenticeship for students who want to go deeper than a weekend certificate.
Bronwyn's stance across all of it is the same: you do not need anyone's permission to come alive in your own healing. You participate in it.

You can reach out to Bronwyn on her website or follow her on Instagram.

EPISODE 76: DIVE INTO REIKI WITH FRANCIS VENDRELL
Few Reiki practitioners have a background as diverse as Francis: A doctor of physics and an ordained Zen monk, he has spent over thirty years demonstrating how analytical science and deep mindfulness can be combined to enhance Reiki practice.
Having moved from Santiago, Chile, to Switzerland at a young age, Francis began his Reiki journey in 1994. By 2000, he had established his own Reiki school in Geneva and in 2010, co-founded the SwissReiki association.
He was a co-founder of the European Reiki Group (ERG), which was originally launched as a collaborative website in 2016 and has since grown into a vital network for the European Reiki community.
His current work focuses on two key pillars:
The first one, education based on the disciplined, structured framework of traditional Zen practices.
The second: pioneering scientific research to champion evidence-based 'energy medicine'.
He played a pivotal role in helping Stephan Stadelmann create the world's first Reiki scientific database and establish the World Reiki Research (WRR) organisation.
Francis is currently investigating the fundamental mechanisms of Reiki through the lens of quantum physics. By combining spiritual wisdom with cutting-edge physics, he aims to establish a sophisticated, measurable new paradigm for Reiki in the modern scientific era.

You can contact Francis on his website.

EPISODE 71: DIVE INTO REIKI WITH GWEN ALLISON

Gwen Allison is the founder of My Spiritual Butterfly and a CHNC-verified Usui Reiki Master Teacher, trained in both Eastern and Western lineages.
Her spiritual path began over 15 years ago, sparked by teachings like The Law of Attraction, The Secret, and the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza. But like many of us, her practice deepened through lived experience — a divorce, the loss of loved ones, and a sudden redundancy that asked her to rebuild from the inside out.
In 2008, she became a Transformational Life Coach, supporting women over 40 in reconnecting with their purpose and creating lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling.
She began practicing Reiki in 2015 and has since taught all levels, led workshops and retreats, and developed a Professional Reiki Diploma that allows practitioners to work in UK hospitals.
At the heart of her work is a simple intention: to make Reiki something natural and accessible — something that belongs in everyday life, not just special spaces.
Here is her website, her Youtube channel and her Instagram.
