…On the Carnivore Diet S3E112
Season 3, Episode 112
Show notes
She was pregnant, eating Carnivore, and feeling better than ever. Then a doctor looked at her food diary and accused her of harming her baby.
What makes Jill’s story extraordinary: before her pregnancy, her fertility specialists had been astonished by laboratory results that rivalled those of women in their twenties.
So why, when she became pregnant, was she suddenly told that the very diet she credited with transforming her health was putting her baby at risk?
Jill discovered Carnivore through her parents’ remarkable transformations. What began as a weight-loss journey became a life-changing transformation, ending lifelong depression, restoring her energy and astonishing her fertility doctors.
But pregnancy brought an unexpected battle. Despite excellent test results and a healthy, growing baby, doctors insisted she needed carbohydrates and even accused her of harming her unborn child.
Jill shares her experiences of pregnancy, breastfeeding and motherhood on Carnivore, challenging conventional advice and discovering a community of women who understood her journey.
Don’t miss this powerful and deeply personal episode of Carnivore Evolution!

From Debilitating Neuropathy to a New Lease on Life! Brian’s Carnivore journey began in desperation. Suffering from debilitating nerve pain, IBS, inflammation, and prediabetes, he was reaching the end of his rope.
Then he discovered the Carnivore diet, and within just three weeks, approximately 60% of his neuropathy symptoms had disappeared.
Over the following months, Brian lost 60 pounds, saw his prediabetes disappear, and eventually experienced complete resolution of his neuropathy. His IBS improved, his inflammation subsided, and he discovered a healthful new way of living.
But Brian’s journey wasn’t without detours.
After six months of Carnivore, he reintroduced carbohydrates, experimented with peptides, and some of his old problems returned. His experience taught him some powerful lessons about consistency, healing, and the temptation to look for shortcuts.
Now studying nursing and hoping to become a holistic nurse practitioner, Brian is passionate about sharing what he has learned and reaching people who feel they’ve run out of options.
His message is one of faith, perseverance, personal responsibility, and hope. If you’re struggling with chronic symptoms, metabolic problems, or simply wondering whether Carnivore could make a difference, Brian’s story is one you won’t want to miss!

What happens when you combine life after gastric bypass with the Carnivore Diet?
Randi Millstein joins host Victoria Olson on Carnivore Evolution to share her 25-year journey after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. Victoria, who underwent gastric bypass 27 years ago, also shares her own experiences, creating a candid conversation between two women who have traveled remarkably similar paths.
After weighing 345 pounds, Randi lost 140 pounds following gastric bypass surgery. Years later, she discovered Keto and eventually Carnivore, finding a simpler way to eat, greater weight stability, and less overwhelming food noise.
Victoria shares her own experience with gastric bypass, her transition from Keto to Carnivore, and the challenges and benefits she encountered along the way. Together, the women reflect on their long-term weight management journeys, and how their approaches to food have evolved.
Randi opens up about emotional eating, sugar cravings, food sensitivities, dumping syndrome, digestive problems, and the nutritional challenges of living with gastric bypass. She also explains why monitoring iron, B vitamins, and other essential nutrients remains critical decades after surgery.
Can Carnivore help people who have undergone gastric bypass? What happens when you reintroduce foods your body no longer tolerates well? And what advice do these two women have for anyone considering a dietary change?
Join Victoria and Randi for an honest, personal conversation about weight loss, food struggles, digestive health, nutrient absorption, and finding an approach to eating that works for your life.

Carnivore Freed Him S3E102
Season 3, Episode 102
Show notes
From 120 kg to approximately 85 kg. From painful joints to pain-free movement. From constant sugar cravings to feeling genuinely satisfied. Dave’s transformation is a powerful story of discovering Carnivore after a lifetime of conventional dietary advice.
Raised in a predominantly vegetarian household, Dave spent decades believing he was doing the right thing for his health. But obesity, sleep apnea, joint pain, and intense cravings for sugar and carbohydrates told a different story.
After his doctor recommended Keto, Dave lost 15 kg in six months, dropping from 120 kg to 105 kg. Then he discovered Carnivore. Within just a few days, his joint pain disappeared. Over the following five months, his weight fell further, reaching approximately 85 to 89 kg, according to the figures discussed in this interview.
Now, more than a year into his Carnivore journey, Dave describes feeling healthier, happier, calmer, and more in control of his appetite. The constant hunger and relentless cravings that once dominated his life have become a thing of the past, according to his experience.
In this episode of Carnivore Evolution, Dave explains why he decided to challenge the nutritional beliefs he grew up with, how he researched Carnivore before trying it himself, and why he believes people should question established advice rather than accept it without investigation.
His message is clear: educate yourself, question your assumptions, and discover what works for you.
If you’re tired of struggling with your weight, fighting cravings, and starting the same diets over and over again, Dave’s story is one you won’t want to miss.

PCOS, Anemia & Carnivore S3E99
Season 3, Episode 99
Show notes
From childhood food addiction and severe acne to PCOS, debilitating anemia, depression, and years of failed diets, Varsha’s journey is a powerful story of searching for answers when conventional approaches weren’t working.
Growing up between Saudi Arabia and India, Varsha embraced vegetarianism and veganism, trying everything from raw veganism to restrictive, low-calorie eating. Her health continued to deteriorate, and her hemoglobin fell to a dangerously low 5.5.
Then she began reintroducing animal foods. Adding eggs and broth was followed by a remarkable improvement in her hemoglobin, and eventually she discovered the Carnivore and meat-based ketogenic lifestyle.
In this revealing conversation, Varsha shares her experience with PCOS, food addiction, mental health struggles, hormonal issues, and the challenges of embracing Carnivore in a culture where eating meat can carry significant religious and social stigma.
We also explore reverse dieting, chronic under-eating, food cravings, metabolic health, muscle preservation, and why Varsha believes animal-based nutrition has transformed her life.
Can changing what you eat change the direction of your health? Varsha explains why she is determined to share her experience with other women who are still searching for answers.
Watch until the end to hear why this once-shy woman is now speaking out about her experiences and encouraging others to question the dietary advice they have always been given.

His Insulin Needs Plummet on Carnivore S3E98
Season 3, Episode 98
Show notes
Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as an adult last year, Marc reports his insulin requirements fell sharply during his first five months on a Carnivore diet this year. This substantial reduction in insulin is a highly impressive accomplishment.
A year prior to this interview, before his diabetes diagnosis, Marc was eating up to 7,000 calories a day, yet continued losing weight, eventually reaching 155 pounds. His blood glucose was 337, his A1C was above 14, and he was experiencing severe digestive problems and persistent weight loss.
Marc began the Carnivore diet five months ago. Here he reports currently using dramatically less insulin - as little as 1-1/2 total unit per day - along with improvements in digestion, sleep, energy, focus, mood, and gym performance.
He discusses his transition from bodybuilding macros and sugar cravings, his experience with fat adaptation and continuous glucose monitoring, and his efforts to understand his changing health markers.
Important: Marc’s experience is personal and should not be interpreted as evidence that Carnivore reverses Type 1 Diabetes or eliminates the need for insulin.

Carnivore Changed Her Story S3E98
Season 3, Episode 98
Show notes
Three cancer battles. A devastating prognosis. And a decision that changed everything.
Mary Toc, a fitness trainer from Melbourne, Australia, has faced cancer three times. After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer and later stage-three breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes, Mary faced a terrifying choice. Her medical team recommended chemotherapy, radiation, and extensive surgery. When she declined those treatments, doctors warned her she might have only four to six months to live.
In this deeply moving conversation, Mary shares the fear, conviction, and extraordinary determination behind her decision. She reflects on her experience with the medical system, the importance of asking questions, questioning the answers, and her desire to help others discover the approach that transformed her own life.
Mary chose a different path. Drawing on her determination to preserve her strength, independence, and life’s work, she adopted a strict Carnivore approach, initially eating only steak and salt.
She describes how her tumors shrank on Carnivore, supported by PET scans showing no detectable cancer. She also reports that she, her father and brother have all experienced cancer-free outcomes while following Carnivore without conventional cancer treatments.
Today, Mary continues to train clients, build strength, inspire women to reclaim their vitality, and recommends the Carnivore diet. Her story is about more than a diagnosis. It is about preserving identity, refusing to surrender the life you love, and finding the courage to explore your options when the stakes could not be higher.
For anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, or supporting someone who is, Mary’s story raises profound questions about nutrition, personal choice, and the search for hope in the darkest moments.
Important note: Mary’s account reflects her personal experience and does not establish that Carnivore treats or cures cancer.

How hard do you really need to train for strength and to build muscle? And could doing too much actually hold you back?
In this episode of the Carnivore Evolution podcast, Mark and Victoria explore how to train smarter, recover properly, and make consistent progress.
Mark explains why more training isn’t always better, how to structure warm-ups and working sets, and why controlled repetitions, time under tension, proper breathing, and training to failure can matter more than simply lifting heavier.
He breaks down his push/pull training approach, leg training, and lower-volume philosophy, along with how he tracks progressive overload and adjusts for nutrition, sleep, stress, and recovery when progress stalls.
They also discuss functional and bodyweight exercises and why maintaining strength and control of your own body becomes increasingly important as we age.
The message is simple: You don’t necessarily need to train more. You need to train smarter, recover well, fuel your body, and keep progressing.
OVERALL THEME
Training smarter, not harder - understanding the relationship between stress and exercise, using effective warm-ups and high-effort main sets, structuring workouts with push/pull splits, and prioritizing recovery, nutrition and progressive strength gains.
