Show notes
What if aging isn't inevitable, but treatable?
In the first episode of Don't Die Yet – Longevity Talks, Dr. Ayşegül Çoruhlu opens with a confession: she doesn't perceive time like everyone else. That strange blindness to time became this show, her attempt to prove there's more time than we think. It stands on two premises.
In this episode:
• Why she calls aging a disease, "the death disease"
• The 1x / 1.2x / 0.8x multiplier: the simple math of how fast you're really aging
• Longevity Escape Velocity: the rocket-science idea that we could outrun aging by around 2030 (her forecast, not a promise)
• Lifespan vs. healthspan: why the goal was never a longer decline
• The bridge strategy, "Just don't die": arrive at 2030 in the youngest biological shape possible
• Her definition of life: "the sum of the tricks you manage to find against entropy"Next episode: The Ageless Ones, the creatures that don't age, and what they're trying to tell us.
Time has plans... So should you.
