Why the Scale Won't Budge (Even When You're Doing Everything Right)
Episode 193
Show notes
You're eating healthier. You're moving your body. You're trying to do ALL the right things.
And yet, every time you step on the scale, it's the same frustrating number staring back at you.
WHAT. THE. HECK?!
Maybe you've lost 30 or 40 pounds and suddenly everything has come to a screeching halt. Or maybe you're in your 40s or 50s, wondering why the things that used to work for you just...don't anymore.
Is it your hormones? Your metabolism? Are you doing something wrong? Or is this just what happens as we get older?
And here's a question you may not have even considered...
What if trying harder isn't the answer?
After hearing from so many women who are frustrated, discouraged, and downright exhausted from trying to lose weight, I knew we needed to have this conversation.
Because some of the things we've been taught about weight loss might actually be making this whole process harder than it needs to be.
In today's episode of Feel Better, Live Free, we're tackling that maddening question: Why isn't the scale moving when you're doing everything right?
And we're talking about something that might completely change the way you approach your next weight-loss plateau.
So before you cut another food out of your diet, add another workout, or decide your body is officially broken...
Press play. You might be surprised by what your body actually needs.
And if you're ready to stop guessing and want a simpler, more sustainable approach to weight loss, the Thin Adapted System will help you learn how to work with your body, prioritize protein, and eat real food in a way you can actually keep up with.

I Know What to Do. I Just Can’t Make Myself Do It.
Show notes
That is what one of you wrote to me recently. And then so many more of you said some version of the exact same thing.
You know what to eat. You know how to do this. You could honestly teach the class.
And yet, when it comes time to actually do it, you just... don’t. Monday after Monday after Monday.
So you go looking for another plan. Another program. One more podcast, one more book, one more fresh start, sure that the next piece of information will finally be the one that makes it click.
Here is what I need you to hear, friend. Nothing is wrong with you. And information was never your problem.
In this episode, I am breaking down the real reasons you cannot seem to do the thing you already know how to do, and not one of them is a lack of willpower. I will show you the single biggest thing keeping you stuck (it is quietly running the whole show), why waiting to feel motivated is backwards, and the small, almost ridiculously simple shift that finally closes the gap between knowing and doing.
And for the woman who told me she is trying to give herself grace but does not know how, this one is especially for you. I am going to show you exactly what that looks like.
You were never lazy. You were never broken. You have just been fighting the wrong battle. Let’s fix that today.
And if you want real help finally doing what you already know, with the systems, the mindset, and the support to make it stick, that is the whole reason the Thin Adapted System exists. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

I’ll Start Monday: Why You Keep Starting Over With Your Health
Episode 191
Show notes
You know what to do.
You know you feel better when you eat well, move your body, get enough sleep, and take care of yourself.
So why is it still so hard to actually do it?
If you keep telling yourself, “I’ll start again Monday,” “I’ll get serious after vacation,” or “I’ll focus on my health when life slows down,” this episode is for you.
After hearing from dozens of women who described themselves as stuck, frustrated, tired, overwhelmed, and defeated, I realized something important:
You may not be lazy.
You may just be exhausted from constantly starting over.
In this episode, we’re talking about why the fresh-start cycle is so draining, why motivation is not a reliable strategy, and how all-or-nothing thinking can make healthy living feel harder than it needs to be.
We’ll also talk about what it really means to “listen to your body,” why your body may not always be asking for what is actually good for you, and how to create a simple minimum baseline for the weeks when life is busy, stressful, or just plain messy.
You’ll learn how to stop waiting for the perfect time, make your next best choice, and build consistency without needing to do everything perfectly.
If you’re tired of feeling like you’re always trying to get back on track, this episode will help you stop starting over and start moving forward.
In this episode, we talk about:
• Why starting over over and over again is so exhausting
• The problem with all-or-nothing thinking
• Why motivation comes and goes
• What “listen to your body” should actually mean
• How to create a minimum baseline for hard weeks
• Why systems can make healthy choices easier
• How to make the next best choice instead of waiting until Monday
• The mindset shift that can help you rebuild trust with yourselfYou do not need a perfect week.
You do not need January 1st.
You do not need life to slow down.
You just need the next choice.
And if you’re tired of starting over and want a simpler way to take care of your health that actually fits real life, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it step by step. You’ll learn how to work with your body, build simple habits, and eat real food in a way you can actually keep up with.

What’s For Dinner? The No-Recipe Plan for Busy Nights
Episode 190
Show notes
It is 5:47. You open the fridge. You close it. You open it again, like maybe something different showed up in the last thirty seconds.
It did not.
You have food. You have about four thousand recipes saved on your phone. And you still have no idea what you are making for dinner.
Here is the thing, friend. That nightly panic is not a you problem, and it is not because you do not care. It is because nobody ever gave you a system that actually holds up when you are tired, the plan fell apart, and everyone is asking what time you are eating.
So today, I am giving you one.
In this episode, I will walk you through how to build a satisfying dinner without ever opening a recipe, the handful of go-to meals that take the deciding off your plate entirely, and exactly what to do on the nights that completely change on you. I will even show you the one small thing to do earlier in the day that saves the whole evening.
And I am giving you full permission to make something simple, repeat a meal you love, and let an easy dinner count. Because feeding yourself well was never supposed to be the hardest part of your day.
You do not need another recipe. You need a plan you can actually use. Let’s build it.
And if you want help with the bigger picture, working with your body and eating real food in a way you can actually keep up, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

Why You're Suddenly Gaining Weight in Your Belly After 40
Episode 189
Show notes
You have not changed a thing. Same food. Same life. Same you.
So why has your body started acting like a stranger, packing weight around your middle in a way it never did before? And why do the things that always used to work not even make a dent anymore?
You are not imagining it. And you did not get lazy, or lose your willpower, or let yourself go.
Somewhere after 40, your body quietly changed the rules on you. It changed how, and where, it stores fat. And almost nobody sits you down and explains what is actually happening or why the harder you try, the more stuck you seem to get.
Here is the part most women never hear: a lot of what you have probably been doing to fight it may be making it worse.
In this episode, I am breaking down exactly what changes in your body after 40 that sends fat straight to your midsection, the common things women do that quietly backfire (you are going to want to stop one of them today), and what actually works when your belly is responding to your hormones instead of your effort.
And if you are already in menopause, or years past it, and wondering if that ship has sailed, stay with me. The answer is going to surprise you.
This was never a willpower problem, friend. And a hormone problem has a hormone solution.
And if you want real help steadying your body and working with your hormones instead of against them, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

The Real Reason You Gain Weight Every Fall (and How to Stop It This Year)
Episode 188
Show notes
Every year it is the same story. You get to January, you go to button your favorite jeans, and they just do not button the way they used to.
And you stand there thinking, wait, how? I did not do anything that different.
Here is what I need you to know. You are not imagining it, and it is not your willpower. There is a real reason women gain weight every single fall, it starts quietly right about now, and almost nobody sees it coming until the damage is already done.
And no, it is not the one big Thanksgiving plate. It never was.
In this episode, I am pulling back the curtain on what actually drives that slow fall weight creep, the sneaky little decision most of us make in October that quietly costs us three whole months, and how you can enjoy every bit of this season, the food, the parties, all of it, without ending up heavier in January. I will even walk you through exactly what to do when you are standing at the holiday table.
This year really can be different. And it does not start with some miserable January reset. It starts right now, before the slide even begins.
And if you want real support making it through this season with your body instead of against it, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

The Silent Thing That's Been Happening to Your Bones
Episode 187
Show notes
In the last five years, I have broken more bones than I can count. My tailbone. Bones in my leg. Bones in my foot. My elbow, more than once.
And some of those breaks? I never figured out what caused them. No accident. No hard fall. Nothing that should have done that kind of damage.
Here is what I need you to understand, because I learned it the hard way. Your bones can be getting weaker for years, and you will not feel a single thing. No ache. No symptom. No warning. Until one day, something breaks that never should have.
And almost nobody warns us about this in time.
This is not a someday, little-old-lady problem. What happens to your bones down the road is being decided right now, in midlife. And there is a reason women are especially at risk, one that has everything to do with what is shifting in your body after 40.
In this episode, I am telling you what is actually happening to your bones, why the thing most women count on to protect them is not nearly enough on its own, and the simple steps that can start protecting you starting today. I will also tell you the one test to ask your doctor for, so you are never blindsided the way so many women are.
Because you cannot feel this happening. But you can absolutely do something about it. And it is never too late to start.
And if you are ready to give your body and your bones the strong foundation they have been asking for, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

The Five-Second Skill That Changes Everything
Episode 186
Show notes
You walk into the kitchen after a hard day and you are eating before you even asked yourself if you were hungry.
The scale is up two pounds and you have already decided nothing is working.
Someone says the wrong thing and you have already fired back.
Here is what almost nobody tells you: there is a tiny space between the thing that happens and the thing you do next. And that little space is where all of your power lives.
Most of us never use it. We react. Fast, automatic, on a pattern we have run a thousand times. And then we wonder why nothing changes.
This week I taught this to the women inside my Thin Adapted System community, and it was too good to keep in one room, so I reworked it for you.
In this episode, I will show you why you do not have to believe everything you think, the one word that interrupts the whole automatic cycle, and the three simple questions that turn a reaction into a choice. I will also share how my faith shapes the way I do this, and exactly how it works whether you share that faith or not.
It is not a personality trait. It is not something the disciplined people were born with and you were not. It is a skill. And it might be the most important one you ever build.
Because sometimes the difference between repeating the life you have always lived and finally creating the life you actually want is just a pause.
And if you are ready to heal your body too, so the cravings quiet down and that pause gets so much easier to find, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

8 Years Later: The Weight Loss Secret Nobody Posts About
Episode 185
Show notes
Everybody loves a before and after.
Nobody shows you the eight years that come after the after.
That is the part they leave out. The part where most people, quietly, gain it all back, usually with a little extra on top. You have probably heard that statistic. Maybe you have lived it. Lost it, gained it, lost it, gained it, until you started to wonder if keeping it off is even possible for someone like you.
It is. But not for the reason you think, and not the way anyone told you.
I lost over 100 pounds. And I have kept it off for eight years, not through more willpower, not by white knuckling my way through every meal, not by being some special kind of disciplined that you are not.
In this episode, I am telling you the truth about the part the whole industry skips: why most people gain it back, the shift that made keeping it off stop feeling like a fight, and the one small habit I hold onto even when everything else in my life falls apart.
Here is the part that might surprise you most. Keeping it off is actually lighter and freer than losing it ever was. And it does not require you to be perfect. Not even close.
If you have ever lost the weight and watched it creep back, and felt like a failure for it, this is the episode I most want you to hear. You were not the problem. You were just never told the truth about this part.
Come find out what actually keeps it off for good.
And when you are ready to do this in a way you can actually live with, the kind that heals your body so keeping it off stops being a fight, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

The Truth About Emotional Eating (It's Not Really About the Food)
Episode 184
Show notes
It's nine o'clock at night. You're standing at the kitchen counter, eating something you didn't even really want.
You weren't hungry. You know you weren't. And tomorrow you'll do the thing you always do, which is decide you just need more willpower.
Friend, it was never about willpower.
You already know what you're supposed to eat. You could teach the class. So why is it still so hard? Why does the food win at the end of a long day, every time?
Because the reason we reach for food when we're not hungry has almost nothing to do with food. And until you understand what's actually driving it, no meal plan on earth is going to stick.
In this episode, I'm walking you through what's really happening: the name for what you've been doing (I use it with my coaching clients all the time, and once you hear it, you'll see it everywhere), the reason your own hormones might be quietly setting the whole cycle in motion, and why you cannot shame or white knuckle your way out of this, no matter how many times you've tried.
And I'll show you what to reach for instead, including the one thing most women completely overlook when the feelings get big.
You are not weak. You are not broken. You've been using the only tool you had.
Come find out what your body has actually been hungry for.
And when you're ready to take the physical piece off the table, so the cravings quiet down and this all gets easier, the Thin Adapted System will walk you through it, step by step. Learn more at GetThinlicious.com/ThinAdaptedSystem.

Normal" Labs, Still Exhausted: The Truth About Your Thyroid
Episode 183
Show notes
"Everything looks normal."
You have heard those words. And you wanted to believe them. But you walked out of that office and cried in your car, because you know your own body, and something is not right.
You are tired in a way sleep does not fix.
You are cold when no one else is.
The weight will not move, no matter what you do.
And somewhere along the way, you started to wonder if maybe you are the problem. If maybe you are just weak, or lazy, or getting old, and this is simply your life now.
Stop. Read this next part twice.
You are not imagining it. You are not being dramatic. And there is a real, specific reason your bloodwork can say you are fine while your whole body is screaming that you are not.
Almost no one explains this to women. Today, I am going to.
Inside this episode: the reason "normal" on a lab report does not mean what you think it means. The single test that gets skipped over and over, that could change everything. What your body has been trying to tell you all along. And if you are already on medication and still feel like a stranger in your own skin, why that might not be the end of the story.
This is the episode I wish someone had handed me years ago.
You deserve real answers. You deserve to feel good in your own body, not just fine on paper. And it starts with knowing what to ask.
Press play. Then go be your own advocate, because no one will ever fight for your body the way you can.

It's Not Too Late (For Your Body, or the Dream You've Been Putting Off)
Episode 182
Show notes
There is a dream you have been putting off until you finally get your body handled. You know the one.
And somewhere along the way, quietly, you started to wonder if maybe you had missed your shot. At the weight. At the health. At the whole life you used to picture for yourself.
Here is the truth about that.
The belief that says it is too late for you is not protecting you from anything. It is the single thing keeping you stuck. And not just with food. It is the same lie that has been talking you out of the business, the book, the trip, the calling, the bold thing you buried years ago and told yourself you would get to someday.
This is the episode where we take that lie apart.
Why after 40 might be the best time to change your body, not the worst. What all that noise around food and your weight has quietly been costing you, because it is so much more than pounds. And what becomes possible the moment you finally get that space back.
You did not miss your window, friend. Come find out why.

5 Signs You're Not Eating Enough Protein (and What to Do About It)
Episode 181
Show notes
Your hair is coming out in the shower. You are hungry an hour after you eat. The scale is going down, but somehow you feel softer, not stronger. And you are tired in a way that a good night's sleep just does not touch.
You have probably been treating those like four different problems. Blaming your age. Blaming your hormones. Quietly wondering what is wrong with you.
What if they are not four problems at all? What if they are one, and it is one of the most fixable things there is?
There is a reason women over 40 end up quietly starving for protein at the exact moment their bodies need it most, and once you hear it, a whole lot of what you have been blaming on aging is going to look very different. Your body has been sending up flares about this for a while. You just did not know how to read them.
In this episode, I am walking you through the 5 signs your body is begging for more protein, the one that surprises everyone, and why the scale going down might actually be bad news. Then I will show you exactly how much you really need, and the single meal where almost every woman misses it completely.
You are not falling apart, friend. And this is not just your age.

The "Healthy" Foods Quietly Feeding Your Sugar Cravings
Episode 180
Show notes
Your yogurt has more sugar in it than a candy bar.
I am not saying that to be dramatic. Go pull one out of your fridge and turn it around. I will wait.
This is the episode where we find out why you crave sugar every single afternoon even though you swear you barely eat any. And the answer is not willpower, and it is not that something is wrong with you. It is that half the food you have been buying on purpose, because you believed it was the healthy choice, is quietly spiking your blood sugar and setting up the crash that sends you into the pantry at three o'clock.
You are not imagining it. That afternoon craving is physical. Your body is genuinely asking you for something, and no amount of white knuckling is going to win that argument, because you are showing up to the fight hours too late.
I ate that way for years and blamed myself for every bit of it, until I found out what was actually in my breakfast.
Inside: what is really happening in your body between breakfast and that three o'clock desperation, where the sugar is hiding in the foods you thought were the healthy choice, whether fruit counts, and the one change to make tomorrow morning that most women feel by that same afternoon.
You were never weak. You were on a rollercoaster nobody told you about.

How to Eat Real Food Without Blowing Your Budget
Episode 179
Show notes
"I can't afford to eat healthy." Have you ever said that? I did, for years. And I want to gently tell you today that it is not true. In fact, it might be costing you far more than you think.
Here is something wild. The most expensive food in your grocery cart is not the meat, and it is not the produce. It is the cheap, processed stuff you grab because it is easy and on sale. The stuff that never actually fills you up, so you keep reaching for more of it, and keep paying for it with your energy, your health, and honestly, your money.
When I sent out my last survey, one question came up again and again. How do I do this when money is tight? So today, I am answering it. And I am bringing receipts, because long before Thinlicious, I spent years running a frugal living blog teaching women how to stretch a dollar. Saving money is in my bones.
Inside, I am walking you through exactly how to feed yourself, and your whole family, real food that actually heals your body, for less than you are spending right now. No fancy health foods. No fourteen dollar smoothies. Just simple, cheap, real food, plus a few little tricks that make it work even for the people at your table who are not fully on board yet.
If money has been the reason you keep putting yourself last, friend, this one is for you.

Why You Need to Eat More, Not Less (to Finally Lose Weight After 40)
Episode 178
Show notes
What if the reason you cannot lose weight has nothing to do with willpower, and everything to do with the fact that you have been eating too little?
I know how that sounds. For years, I did exactly what we have all been told to do. Eat less, move more. And for a while, it worked. Then it stopped, no matter how hard I tried. And even when I thought I was being so good, eating my yogurt and my oatmeal and all the low calorie foods that are supposed to be the healthy choices, my body would not budge, and I felt worse than ever.
Here is what I did not understand back then. When you eat less and less, your body does not reward you for it. It protects you. It slows your metabolism, keeps your insulin up, raises your stress hormones, and holds onto every ounce of fat for dear life. You end up eating less and storing more at the very same time.
In this episode, I walk you through exactly why eating less has been working against you, why those so called healthy foods were quietly keeping you stuck, and the surprising truth that finally helped me lose over 100 pounds and keep it off for eight years. Not by eating less. By finally giving my body what it actually needed.
In this episode:
• Why "eat less, move more" works for a little while and then quits on you
• The three things happening inside your body every time you cut your food: your metabolism, your insulin, and your cortisol
• How everyday "health foods" like yogurt and oatmeal can keep you locked in fat storage mode
• What it really means to become thin adapted, and why you cannot get there by starving
• The one simple change to make at breakfast tomorrow morningReady to stop starving yourself and start healing?
The Thin Adapted System is the step by step way to reverse insulin resistance, balance your hormones, and finally lose the weight for good, without restriction and without giving up the foods you love. Learn more and get started here: https://www.getthinlicious.com/thinadaptedsystem

Your Scale Is a Coach, Not a Judge (Here's How to Read It)
Episode 177
Show notes
Your scale is a coach, not a judge. Here's how to read it.
How many mornings has the number on your bathroom scale ruined your whole day? You stepped on it before you had even had your coffee, saw a number you did not want to see, and let it decide whether you were winning or losing, on track or off, worth celebrating or worth being disappointed in. Friend, that is not what the scale is for.
I still weigh myself multiple times a week, eight years into maintaining a hundred pound weight loss. Not because I am obsessed. Not because my worth depends on the number. Because it is a genuinely useful data point when you know how to read it. And in this episode, I am going to teach you how.
We are talking about the difference between using the scale as a judge (which is how most of us have been using it) and using it as a coach (which is what it was actually meant to be). Why a five-pound overnight jump is almost never fat gain, and what your body is actually telling you when the number shifts. How to look at patterns instead of reacting to single readings. And why sodium, sleep, hormones, inflammation, and even your last workout can move the scale by several pounds in either direction, no matter how perfectly you have been eating.
We are also talking about the rest of the dashboard your body is giving you, that most women are completely ignoring. Your energy. Your sleep. Your cravings. Your digestion. Your strength. How your clothes are fitting. What your labs are actually saying. Your mood. Your capacity to show up for the people you love. The scale is one data point among many, and when you learn to read the whole picture, everything changes.
You will walk away with a fresh way to think about the number on your scale, three practical things you can do this week, and permission to stop letting a single reading decide how you feel about yourself.
If you have been white-knuckling your mornings around a piece of bathroom equipment, this one is going to set you free.
Ready to actually shift what your scale is telling you? Start with the 10 Day Metabolism Reset.

Why You Gained Weight in That Hard Season (And Why It Was Never Your Fault)
Episode 176
Show notes
Almost every woman I have ever coached has lived through it, but very few of us have ever heard it named out loud. The season your weight went up and stayed up. Or the season you were finally doing everything right and your body just stopped cooperating.
Maybe life got heavy and the scale responded, and no diet or workout would move it. Or maybe you were getting results, feeling like yourself again, and then a season hit and everything ground to a halt. Whichever woman you are, I see you. And I want you to hear the truth about what was actually happening, because I think when you understand it, something in you is finally going to be able to exhale.
This is one I have lived more than once. In this episode I am pulling back the curtain on what your body does in survival mode, what is happening in your brain under sustained stress, and why none of it was weakness or a lack of willpower. It was your body and your brain doing exactly what they were designed to do to keep you alive. And then we talk about what healing actually looks like on the other side, starting not from shame but from grace. 💗
What We Cover In This Episode:
• The two stories almost every midlife woman lives through, and why both end in self-blame
• Why your body is not separate from your life, and what that means in a hard season
• What survival mode actually is, and why it is a real physiological state and not a metaphor
• How chronically high cortisol raises your blood sugar and insulin and locks your body into fat-storage mode
• The sleep loop your body cannot break on its own
• How your hunger hormones get scrambled, with ghrelin up and leptin gone quiet
• What happens in your brain under prolonged stress, and why the amygdala grows louder while the prefrontal cortex goes quiet
• Why reaching for sugar and carbs in a hard season is neuroscience, not a character flaw
• The shift from punishment to partnership, and why it changes everything
• What real healing looks like, and the five things it actually requiresThe Shift That Changes Everything:
The women who heal are not the women who hate themselves the most into action. The women who heal are the women who finally stop fighting their bodies and start partnering with them.
What Healing Actually Requires:
• Acknowledging the season instead of minimizing it
• Real rest, the kind your nervous system has been begging for
• Nourishment, not restriction, so your body knows the famine is over
• Community, because you were never meant to heal in isolation
• Time, so much more time than you want it to takeThe Verses I Leaned On In This One:
So much of this episode comes back to the truth that you were never designed to carry it all alone. These are the verses I keep close in the hard seasons.
• 1 Peter 5:7 - "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
• Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
• Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."Three Things To Try This Week:
• Name your season. Out loud, in writing, or in the quiet. Honor what you were carrying.
• Choose one act of kindness toward your body. A walk, a real breakfast, an early bedtime. One thing that says I am going to treat you like an ally now.
• Talk to someone who can hold the weight of what you went through with you. A friend, a coach, a counselor, a pastor.Ready to go deeper?

A reminder before you go:
Whatever your body did in that hard season, whether the scale went up or whether it just stopped moving when you needed it to most, that was not who you are. That was a chapter. And chapters end. Your body kept you alive through something most people could not have made it through. That is not something to be ashamed of. That is something to be in awe of.

Cortisol Isn't the Villain, But It Might Be Wrecking Your Midlife Metabolism
Episode 175
Show notes
If you're doing all the right things and still feel tired, wired at night, and stuck with weight that won't budge around your middle, this episode is for you.
Most women think cortisol is just about stress. And friend, that is not the whole story. You can be managing your schedule, saying no when you need to, keeping your life under control, and your cortisol can still be running high all day long without you ever feeling stressed. I lived in that exact state for years and had no idea. I just thought the exhaustion, the belly weight, the brain fog, and the three a.m. wake-ups were my normal. They weren't. That was cortisol, and nobody warned me it was happening.
In this episode, I'm walking you through what cortisol actually is, why it's not the villain it gets made out to be, and the five things that are really keeping it elevated. Most of them have nothing to do with feeling stressed. We'll talk about why chronic dieting quietly traps you in a loop that makes everything worse, what perimenopause does to your built-in calming hormone, and the real priority order for bringing your cortisol back down so your body can finally let go of what it's been holding onto.
Whether you've been dieting for years, you're navigating perimenopause, or you're just tired of trying harder and getting nowhere, you deserve the whole picture. Your body is not broken. It's communicating. 💕
Everything we talked about today, protecting your muscle, stabilizing your blood sugar, getting your hormones working with you instead of against you, matters even more if you're on a GLP-1 or thinking about starting one. That's exactly what my upcoming masterclass is about. "What Your Doctor Didn't Tell You About GLP-1s" is a live class where I walk you through exactly what to eat, how to protect your muscle, and how to build a long-term plan whether you stay on these medications or not. It's happening live on Thursday, June 25 at 1pm Eastern, and there's a 7-day replay if you can't make it live.

What Your Doctor May Not Have Told You About GLP-1s
Episode 174
Show notes
If you're on a GLP-1, thinking about starting one, or quietly wondering how you'll ever get off it without gaining everything back, this episode is for you.
There's a lot your doctor probably didn't tell you when they wrote that prescription. Not because anyone's hiding something, but because the appointment was ten minutes long and nobody actually walked you through what happens to your body, your muscle, and your metabolism while you're on the medication. That gap is exactly why so many women lose weight on a GLP-1 and still feel weak, still feel off, and still feel scared about what comes next.
In this episode, I'm getting honest about what these drugs can and can't do, why losing weight and losing muscle are not the same thing, and what it really takes to come out the other side stronger instead of starting over. Whether you want to stay on the medication, taper off it, or you're just trying to make a decision you won't second-guess later, you deserve the whole picture.
And if this episode cracks the door open for you, the masterclass is where you get the full map.
