184: How To Get Your Sex Drive Back After Menopause | Kimberly Ann Johnson

Anyone who thinks libido only declines after menopause should listen to this interview.
Kimberly is a sexological bodyworker, Somatic Experiencing practitioner, and author of The Fourth Trimester, Call of the Wild, and the forthcoming Erotic Seasons, and she has worked with women across birth, postpartum, and menopause long enough to call the standard midlife story out as incomplete.
I open with Marion Woodman’s map of a woman’s life, which folds maiden and mother into one phase and places a virgin stage before the crone. The virgin, in this framing, is a woman whole unto herself, and it is the stage most of us are hitting around midlife without any language for what is happening.
Kimberly describes moving through menopause without hormone therapy, tracking forty-eight so-called symptoms, and what two years on the other side of it has done to her libido and her sense of self. She also talks about the sexual revolution some women experience as they enter menopause, and the grief nobody warns you about.
Her erotic awakening involved a photographer in Rio and a shot of cachaça she turned down, then wished she hadn’t. Why she did it, and what it unlocked, is a story worth hearing in her own words.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[6:19] Marion Woodman and the forgotten virgin stage of a woman’s life
[10:34] Why you can’t be a crone until you’ve lived seventy years
[14:40] Walking the virgin stage single versus coupled
[17:59] Moving through menopause without any hormone therapy
[24:50] Aliveness as the backdrop for every fracture and rupture
[28:38] Our particular defenses against feeling good
[32:57] Writing past trauma culture without making women victims
[38:27] Kimberly’s erotic awakening and the nude photo
[46:43] The messiness and rawness that is also erotic life
[49:13] Being overtaken by Erotic Seasons and choosing aliveness over perfection
[52:39] Choosing what you genuinely love over what’s good for you

183: How to Co-Parent After Divorce (Without Drama)
Episode 183
Show notes
Access Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
In a difficult co-parenting dynamic, it’s easy to assume you’re the more evolved one, and that assumption is exactly what keeps you stuck.
This week’s audacious ask came from a woman who wants cordial, drama-free co-parenting with her ex and asked me how to pull it off without getting pulled into his reactivity.
My answer starts somewhere uncomfortable: the commitment to not speak ill of your son’s father. It’s a healing practice for you, your inner masculine, and your father line. And it pairs with a second practice: looking at how often you position yourself as the better parent, the more stable one, the more spiritual one.
Family constellation work places you and your ex on the same line, not in a hierarchy. From that seat, your choices become visible. You can see the bait when it’s dangled, and you can stay trained on what you came to ask for, instead of defending yourself into another round of drama.
Through a simple scheduling conversation that goes sideways, you’ll see the specific move that keeps you with yourself when he changes the subject. If raising your son means staying linked to a man you’d rather not deal with, this is the reframe that changes the practice.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:31] The audacious ask about drama-free co-parenting after divorce
[4:06] Co-parenting as a growth crucible the Mom actually chose
[6:04] Resolving superiority and the paradigm of better and worse
[8:13] Family constellation puts her and the ex on the same line
[10:04] Not taking the bait of the drama
[12:17] The line between trusting someone entirely and not at all👉🏻 Want to start a podcast like this one? Book your free podcast planning callhere.

Episode 182

Men: you might be conditioning your partner’s body to fear you.
Alex Charfen is the founder of The Brotherhood, and he teaches masculine containment as a trainable discipline after his own wife told him she didn't feel seen, heard, or safe.
Almost every couple runs on a pattern they never name: trigger, escalation, rupture, withdrawal, repair. Alex became exceptionally good at repair, and it changed nothing. While his body told him they were making progress, her nervous system was still telling her she wasn't safe.
He asks the men he works with three questions. Are you stronger than your partner? More physically capable? More capable of violence? Every man answers yes to all three, and taken seriously, that answer changes what a man is responsible for in the room.
I believe women are the custodians of their own experience. Alex believes men have to self-initiate first. The most useful parts of this conversation live in that friction.
We also get into why the car is a diagnostic for polarity, why the calmest man in the room is the most dangerous, and why regulating your nervous system gives entrepreneurs more capacity than any biohack.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[6:36] How an ultimatum catalyzed Alex's reclamation as a man
[9:44] The hidden pattern in many heterosexual relationships
[14:57] The biological reality of a woman's nervous system under threat
[22:20] What shifted in his wife after he committed
[25:51] Micro choices a woman makes in every moment
[31:30] Whether Katie could have done anything to induce Alex's shift
[39:13] The nice guy versus the man in his dark masculine
[44:03] Dominance of oneself, not of her
[52:35] Why successful entrepreneurs so often fail at relationships
[1:00:28] Always putting out fires means you're probably the arsonist

181: How to Activate Your True Feminine Energy (It's NOT What You Think)
Episode 181
Show notes
Access Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
How can you activate your true feminine energy?
My guest Nina Lombardo teaches conscious intimacy, polarity, and sacred feminine practice at Way of Devotion, and she's one of the few voices in this space who refuses to sell an outcome.
We start with her own arc from what she calls "puddleness" into a woman with a spine, and how that reshaped the way she now teaches women coming from the opposite direction: armored, ambitious, over-functioning.
Nina makes a distinction between a need and neediness that reorganized how I think about asking my partner for anything.
There's a piece on choosing partners who conveniently can't meet your depth, because staying hidden feels safer than being fully seen. She doesn't let anyone off the hook here, including herself.
Later, Nina walks through what it actually looks like to express anger through the body as an invitation instead of an accusation, and why a whimper in real time beats resentment every single time.
If you've done therapy, done the healing, and still can't figure out why intimacy feels stuck, the answer she offers is uncomfortable in the best way.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[5:24] The heroine's journey and a woman's maturational arc
[10:07] The needy woman is the entitled woman
[21:53] Relaxing into desire as its own animate force
[28:28] Having a witness exposes where we're performing and hiding vulnerability
[41:57] Expressing feelings through the body rather than words
[49:09] Responding to him in the moment, versus reacting to the past
[55:04] Exposing your fullness to see whether he meets you
[1:02:18] Shifting from masculine mode into your feminine center of gravity
[1:09:35] Relaxing into subtle realms without agenda

180: Why I Won't Show Up for My Parents' Chemo
Episode 180
Show notes
Access Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
Should you take care of your parents, even when they decide to take the mainstream medicine route?
This week's audacious ask comes from a listener watching her mother go further down a medical path that seems to be making things worse, and she wants to know how to navigate it without losing herself in the process.
Caring for an aging parent who keeps choosing conventional medicine you no longer trust is one of the most disorienting positions a holistic-minded woman can find herself in.
The cultural assumption that adult children should manage their parents' healthcare is backwards. Family constellation work shows that healing flows from child to parent, and that repair is very different from taking responsibility for another adult's medical choices.
I go over the three parts likely driving your caretaking, and why the moment you make those visible is the moment you stop over-functioning and start setting real limits. I also share the exact boundary I set with my own parents years ago, and how it broke a decades-long pattern of commiseration around pathology in my family.
Their body is their business. What you're willing to offer is yours. The freedom sits in making that contract conscious instead of assumed.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:10] Caring for a parent whose conventional treatment seems harmful
[3:42] Taking care of a parent may not be your role
[5:36] How conscious and clear the caregiving contract really is
[7:08] Admitting we never truly know what's best for someone

179: How to Use Your Birth Chart to Navigate Deep Life Transitions | Meli Neubek
Episode 179
Show notes
Access Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
Your birth chart can help you navigate life transitions more than most people think.
Meli Neubek is an astrologer, co-host of Celestial Curiosities, and one of my closest friends, which means she has full permission to tell me when my two-hour-a-day YouTube astrology binge is starting to look like a coping strategy.
I recorded this a few weeks after March 3rd, when I woke up feeling like I'd been under anesthesia for six years inside a dynamic I'd been calling sovereignty. Both of our charts, apparently, had this written.
So we sit with the real question: what is astrology actually doing when it lands, and where does it turn into another way to outsource trusting yourself? Meli walks through the difference between predictive, psychological, and evolutionary work, why she practices tropical over sidereal, and what Saturn was doing to my second house the day everything cracked open.
She also names something rarely said out loud: how suicidal thoughts can show up as part of an identity death, and why that's not a sign something's gone wrong.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[4:05] Carrying on the Kelly Brogan chicken legacy
[6:58] Why free-ranging chickens survive when caged ones don't
[10:58] Falling down an astrology hole after an abrupt awakening
[15:09] When astrology becomes an addictive reality filter
[26:06] Choosing launch dates by the planets
[28:11] The season defines the archetype, not the stars
[36:43] The generational planets shifting from earth to fire
[45:02] Asking Mellie's mother to move out after a decade
[55:54] Suicidal thoughts and raw sharing as part of the anatomy of transformation

178: Lindsey Lockett: Stop Chasing Calm, It's Keeping You Stuck
Episode 178
Show notes
Access Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
Most people chase a state of calm and relief… but what if that’s the wrong goal?
Lindsey Lockett is a trauma integrator and relational weaver who woke up to her own healing hamster wheel inside a psych hospital.
Lindsey spent a decade chasing perfect gut health, perfect sleep, and perfect everything. Then her psych hospital stay following a suicide attempt in March 2019 showed her the bone broth, the supplements, and the perfect protocols were not what she actually needed.
Lindsey names something most people skip: the pregnant pause after you tell the truth. It’s the moment the other person's face shifts and their trained instinct wants to soften what you said, so they do not have to feel it. She defines authenticity as embodied allegiance to yourself under pressure. She is clear that it is not a boundaries speech or an ego trip about not caring what anyone thinks.
She also explains why she’s moving away from polyvagal theory as the dominant framework, why calm is only one configuration of the nervous system, and how integrity has to sit underneath any expression of truth.
If you have felt more fractured after years of nervous system work, not less, Lindsey's take will land.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[7:08] The hamster wheel of healing that leaves women no more joyful
[12:45] How victim consciousness follows you into greenwashed medicine
[16:00] Making the shift into radical responsibility and real safety
[27:25] The pregnant pause after speaking a hard truth
[38:36] Female conditioning that made self-abandonment feel safest
[43:05] Building capacity through imagination and rehearsal
[46:11] Discernment as the place authenticity emerges from
[56:18] Weaponized authenticity and the pendulum swing to synthesis

If you've done years of inner work and still feel stuck in the same patterns, you probably inherited your trauma.
Mark is the director of The Family Constellation Institute and the author of It Didn't Start with You, a book that has sold more than three million copies and reframed how we think about depression, anxiety, and chronic illness that seem to come out of nowhere.
I've been a family constellation zealot for years, and this conversation gets at the thing I've struggled to explain to people who assume this work is magical thinking.
Mark walks through the actual mechanics of how a grandmother's car accident can show up as a granddaughter's self-injury decades later, and why conventional psychiatry keeps missing it.
We talk about the Harvard Mastery of Stress study, the three unconscious ways we reproduce a broken bond with a parent, and the specific milestones (marriage, pregnancy, moving, rejection) that tend to trigger inherited patterns.
If you've ever wondered whether a fear, a symptom, or a relationship pattern is actually yours, this is the episode that gives you a way to tell.
Mark also shares why he rewrote his book after all these years, and what he's found about attachment breaks that changed how he works with almost everyone who walks in his door.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[7:21] The self-injurer whose cutting traced back to her grandmother's guilt
[15:02] How family constellations differ from psychodrama
[19:43] Whether anyone can stand as a representative in the field
[27:21] Three unconscious ways rejecting a parent shapes a life
[31:44] Telling inherited trauma apart from attachment trauma
[40:24] Reading the breadcrumb trail when the family history is lost

The day Mama Gena’s life was designed to collapse was the same day she chose to turn herself on instead.
Regena Thomashauer, known to most as Mama Gena, is the founder of the School of Womanly Arts and the author of five books, including the New York Times bestseller Pussy: A Reclamation. Her new book, On Our Knees, is the reason we had this conversation.
I have followed her work for years, and reading this book felt like being caught up on decades of her life in a single sitting. Our paths could not look more different on paper. Mine ran through psychiatric wards in New York with suicidal women coming off medications. Hers ran through living rooms filled with women in sequins and feathers. The conclusion we both landed on about what a woman's life is actually for turned out to be identical.
This conversation is about aliveness as a discipline. It is about what a woman does when she gets sued, taxed, divorced, and asked to deliver a career-defining event in the same 24 hours. Mama Gena calls the practice volitional heat.
If you have been told you are too much, this one is for you.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[7:17] A woman alive is the most dangerous force on this plane
[12:10] The permission field women grant each other in the dark
[14:13] Turn-on as a choice and the responsibility of volitional heat

Is it possible to have a relationship with a narcissist?
That question kicks off this episode, and the answer sits far outside the usual "set boundaries and move on" advice.
Boundaries aren't a personality trait. They're a container. Sometimes they mean blocking a number. Sometimes they mean a full blackout from your family of origin so you can step out of the trauma field long enough to hear yourself.
The relationship with your mother matters more than almost any other work you'll do. She's the anima imprint you project onto every woman, every doctor, every system of care. Resentment toward her chokes off creativity, vitality, and erotic energy in ways most women never trace back to the source.
Family constellation work changed my life on this exact issue, and I explain why I recommend it before any deeper trauma modality. Compassion, neutrality, and even harmony are on the table. None of it requires her to become the mother she couldn't be.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:10] Having a real relationship with a textbook narcissist while still keeping boundaries
[4:07] Why your mother owes you nothing, and how loosening that expectation frees you

174: They've Brainwashed You to Think Psych Meds Are Good, But They Make You Worse
Episode 174
Show notes

Psychiatric medications only make you worse.
A Yale study found that 1 in 23 people prescribed an antidepressant go on to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and the field calls that "unmasking" rather than causation.
I trained as one of the first 300 reproductive psychiatrists in the world, and I stopped writing prescriptions in 2010 after research on long-term outcomes reframed everything I'd been taught about efficacy and safety.
The recent Lindsay Clancy case pulled me back into activist territory after years of stepping away from it.
This episode is my attempt to say what I thought I'd already said loudly enough. There's literature on treatment-emergent violence to self and others that most prescribers have never read. There's a phenomenon called tardive dysphoria. There's David Healy's work on stable volunteers becoming acutely suicidal after exposure to psychotropics.
If you've ever considered a psychiatric medication to get through a hard chapter, or if you love someone who has, this is the fuller picture I wish more people had access to before the prescription pad comes out.

173: The Dark Side of the "Community Culture" Nobody Talks About

Everyone tells you that you need to be in a community, but what if that was one of the most dangerous things you could do?
This is a solo episode, and I am walking through the arc of my own relationship to community, from Francis Weller's work on the village we never had, to the small circle of Waldorf mamas in Miami, to the plandemic years when intentional community felt like a lifeline.
A lot of what I chased did not hold. Friend groups fractured over values. The sovereign communities collapsed under interpersonal conflict. Even the online spaces started to feel like surrogate families carrying weight they were never designed to carry.
The tension I keep returning to is this: Community asks for a fixed set of shared beliefs. I am someone who evolves, changes my mind, and drops ideologies when they stop resonating for me. Those two things do not fit cleanly together.
I also share what my friend Alyssa is doing that seems to be working, and why the ache I felt listening to her did not translate into wanting her life.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:23] The community wound and why Francis Weller says it haunts us all
[5:00] How I detonated a bomb in my holistic mom group over values
[8:49] Why conscious communities keep collapsing under their own projections
[11:03] The one friend whose thriving community makes me ache with longing
[12:58] The part of me that has zero interest in community at all
[18:33] Ideology-based communities become cults you can be punished for leaving
[21:37] An HOA with nothing in common is somehow even weirder
[23:16] Recurring revenue and digital membership sell community as a false cure
[26:37] The ideological prison distorting how women approach beauty and surgery
[30:33] Tom Cowan on why shared ideology fails without a shared project

Elisabeth "Bizzie" McKay built a behavior prediction technology that’s 98.3% accurate, and it exposes why most mental health diagnoses are pattern recognition wearing a lab coat.
Elisabeth is a tech founder, behavior futurist, and the creator of Brain Pattern Mapping and Break Method, a rewiring system built on 12 years of data across thousands of clients, prison populations, and residential programs.
I did her PredictiveMind™ session before we recorded, and one specific finding cracked open something I'd been circling for years: why I can be fully assertive in one dynamic and completely fawning in another. It comes down to perceived power, and until the Elisabeth named it, I couldn't see it.
Elisabeth describes her five brain pattern types, the separation of abandonment from rejection wounds, and why narrative talk therapy misses the actual root cause of behavior. She also explains why borderline and narcissism can shift, despite what the establishment claims.
If you've been sorting yourself with Instagram carousels and attachment labels, this conversation will make that framework feel very small.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[5:01] From mental health to celebrity trainer and back again
[9:02] The mother with borderline personality disorder behind her mission
[20:59] Psychiatric diagnosis is pattern recognition dressed up as science
[37:51] The five brain pattern types, and why we shift between them
[45:55] Abandonment and rejection wounds are not the same, mental health conflates them
[58:52] The cowboy pattern, and how childhood repetition predicts who you become
[1:05:03] 100 years of the mental health establishment may be a farce
[1:08:53] Can borderlines and narcissists actually heal, or just manage?
[1:22:36] The "I'm the narcissist" moment, and why Instagram makes it worse

Pet owners might be the cause of their pet’s sickness.
Ditte Young is a clairvoyant, an internationally renowned telepath featured on The Telepathy Tapes, a TEDx speaker, and a bestselling author whose work bridges animal communication, parenting, and intuitive development.
My karmic cat Mushu has triggered more inner work than almost anything else in my adult life, so this conversation went somewhere personal fast.
Ditte explains how animals experience pain, why none of the dying animals she has sat with were afraid, and what's really happening when your pet seems to be mirroring your emotional state. She also addresses the question I think many animal lovers privately wrestle with: how do you eat meat while loving animals as soulful beings?
Her answer surprised me. So did her perspective on why punishment fails with every species, and why one simple sentence spoken to your pet before you leave the house actually lands.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[6:16] How Ditte discovered she could hear animals as a sensitive child
[10:56] Why animals mirror our nervous systems and become more than just a pet
[13:54] Exploring whether some animals spiritually contract to carry our unconscious conflicts
[15:48] Why an animal's illness might reflect the human's unaddressed issues
[18:30] Elephants and dolphins reveal which intelligence actually measures
[22:07] The unresolvable dilemma of loving animals and eating them for dinner
[35:32] Punishment never works and what to do instead of the spray bottle
[42:44] What animals actually feel about pain and dying, and why they're never afraid
[48:13] Can a soul cross species, or does a cat soul stay a cat soul
[52:32] The envelope test and why telepathy is the easy part

The reason discipline feels so hard isn't laziness, and it isn't a lack of motivation either.
This episode answers a listener's question about how to actually follow through on the things we choose for ourselves, and my answer reframes the whole conversation around the inner masculine and inner feminine. Most of us are running discipline through an inner tyrant that bullies, coerces, and shames us into action. That energy is a trauma field, not a practice.
There's a different way to relate to your commitments, and it starts with listening to the part of you that doesn't want to do the thing without doing it wrong.
Let’s get into the difference between muscling through and reaching a real consensus between your parts. The dishes, the dance classes, the 5:00 AM sadhana I kept for five years and then released in 2020, the mundane masculine initiations like leasing a car alone, all of it points at the same thing. Once the masculine container is set, the feminine can play.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[3:12] Why the immature inner masculine bullies you into productivity through self-flagellation
[5:19] How the meta-self organizes conflicting inner parts without forcing consensus
[7:40] Maturing the masculine through mundane tasks actually makes you feel safer
[9:46] Connecting to a good “why” transforms discipline from compliance into devotion
[12:50] Why a five-year 5:00 AM sadhana eventually felt rigid, dogmatic, and unloving

169: The Science of Coherent Water | Mario Brainović
Episode 169
Show notes
Access Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
Coherent water can completely change your health on a cellular level, and there’s a wand that can turn any water into coherent water.
Mario Brainović is the founder of New Earth Technologies and the entrepreneur behind Analemma Water, and he's spent seventeen years funding the research that backs every claim he makes here.
I came into this conversation as someone who has tried everything around water: filtration, fasting, reverse osmosis, remineralization, three liters a day, the whole neurotic arc, etc. What Mario describes pulled me out of that loop. The science is rigorous, but the implication is what got me. Ninety-nine percent of the molecules in your body are water. Change the state of that water, and your entire biology follows.
We also get into the part most water podcasts avoid: what happens to the information of a toxin after you filter it out, why 5G radiation damages water at close range, and how his wife saw the design of Analemma in a vision before he ever met the inventor.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[3:49] Mario's path from selling a natural pharmaceutical company to discovering Analemma[12:03] How Mario's wife channeled a vision of swirling water from Archangel Michael and Jesus
[19:22] What coherent water is, and why H2O in chaos changes everything about your biology
[26:11] The 5G experiment that killed plants, and how one swirl of the wand revived them
[36:11] The placebo effect can't explain a 20 percent rise in mitochondrial ATP over two months
[42:31] How seeds watered with Analemma started breathing light in sync with the tides
[46:06] The dead Dutch soil that came back to life, and what it revealed about the human microbiome
[57:17] Why filtering toxins out doesn't erase their frequency from your water
[1:03:28] The bathtub study that improved heart rate variability by at least 30 percent

Eli and Alexandra say most women's nervous systems will reject a deep, present man on sight.
Most of what gets sold as polarity work falls apart the second you bring it home, into a marriage, into parenting, or into a Tuesday night with bills to pay.
Eli Buren and Alexandra Roxo are two of the very few teachers in this space I trust to talk about masculine and feminine dynamics as something you live, not perform. Eli has been mentored by David Deida since 2004. Alexandra is the bestselling author of F*ck Like a Goddess and Dare to Feel.
I've known Eli for about a decade, and he was the one who first told me to be careful about forcing my relationship into the polished version of these teachings.
This conversation goes there. What immature masculine and immature feminine actually look like in a body. Why a deep, present man can feel disarming when your nervous system isn't trained to receive him. How rupture, repair, and trauma show up inside a real partnership with a child in the next room
There are red flags they want you to watch for in polarity teachers. We name them.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[10:48] Why men's awareness and presence have become urgent currencies in a virtual world
[24:39] Women reject the deep men they say they want, and Alexandra almost did too
[29:39] How leaning on your looks, job, or competency exposes your immature feminine
[35:23] Translating polarity from the retreat high into paying bills and taking out the trash
[40:06] Bank accounts and breasts: the surface level where most couples get stuck
[49:35] Words kill the polarity, and trauma imprints require more than practice
[1:02:25] What Eli transmits to his daughter through tone, touch, and humming through the belly
[1:10:24] Why "emotionally flexible" describes a mother's presence better than "regulated"
[1:18:21] The red flags Alexandra and Eli see in other polarity teachers right now

167: The Lies Around Inflation & How Bitcoin Is The Solution to Our "Broken" Economy | Scott Dedels

Bitcoin isn't an investment, it's the first real way to save money through decades.
Bitcoin is the most significant invention any of us has seen in our lifetime, and most people still think it's a scam. Scott Dedels, co-founder of Block Rewards, host of The Block Reward Podcast, and author of The Dao of Bitcoin, spent fifteen years in traditional finance before that frame collapsed for him.
I've come to notice that the people I tend to align with on medicine, history, and sovereignty often share one thing in common. They understand Bitcoin in a way that goes far past price charts.
Scott's turning point came in 2020, when the lockdowns quieted the hustle long enough for him to ask what money actually is. What he found made it impossible to keep advising clients the way he had been.
We get into why fiat currency is engineered to lose value, why saving has been replaced by investing, and why he describes Bitcoin as a fixed measuring tool for time and energy.
If the math of your life feels heavier than it used to, this conversation explains why.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[4:02] Why the lockdown in Canada became the spiritual inflection point for a finance bro
[9:54] The father wound at the threshold of inquiry, and why deconstructing money runs root-chakra deep
[16:03] Stockholm syndrome, the coincidence of wants, and the state monopoly on what money is
[25:42] Why inflation is state-sponsored theft of your finite time and energy
[30:10] Digital scarcity as the most significant invention any of us have been alive for
[37:19] Why Bitcoin mining is civilization-level infrastructure, not a climate disaster
[45:44] Can the state capture Bitcoin, and what gold confiscation in 1933 tells us
[55:20] Why Bitcoin is the first real innovation in timekeeping in seven hundred years

166: If You Always Need to "Be Right" As Woman, You Need to Hear This
Episode 166
Show notes
Join Kelly's Bio Marriage Live Stream here.
Being right with your husband might be the single most corrosive thing you do in your marriage.
This episode comes out of the audacious questions women in my private containers ask me, and this one cuts straight into the psychology of why so many of us were trained to argue, observe, and keep a mental ledger from childhood.
There’s this thing I call litigator-level skills, the kind you develop growing up in a household where being right was how you avoided punishment and stayed loved. The problem is that those exact same skills poison an intimate relationship.
The victim triangle keeps people trapped in cycles of blame, defense, and scorekeeping. Intimacy cannot survive a zero-sum game, and real partnership begins where the need to win ends. Finding your husband right is less about agreement and more about releasing the reflex to make him wrong.
Beneath the need to be right is often a protector carrying an old job: preventing punishment, rejection, or loss of love. One simple parts work question can reveal what that protector is so afraid would happen if it stopped keeping score. Submission and surrender are not acts of self-abandonment. They are masteries that become available when control is no longer confused with safety.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:27] The litigator-level ledger we carry into adulthood as a trauma response
[4:13] Submission, surrender, and the sacred technology of the man-woman dyad
[6:52] How to disarm conflict by finding him right, even just for the fuck of it

Can you really “improve” yourself?
I spent years convinced I could save the world from the bad guys, then years convinced I could save myself through deep inner work, coaching, and retreats. What I found on the other side wasn't a better me. It was a different relationship to my own badness and wrongness, and a suspicion that progress itself might be an illusion.
It’s time we unpack a few things… the good-bad split, why rejecting one pole pulls you straight toward it, and why my sovereign lawfulness journey exposed the same extractive shadow I'd assigned to the IRS.
I'll share what my daughter said that cracked my activist armor, why I now prize awareness and relaxation over certainty, and what it means to live by spontaneity, curiosity, and the principle of maybe.
If you've ever invested in fixing yourself and still touched the nihilistic question of "is this it", I made this for you.
You’ll learn:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:06] From saving the world to turning the activist lens inward
[5:54] The self-improvement double bind nobody in the wellness industry will name
[8:02] The good-bad split and why we keep attracting what we reject
[11:00] "Mama, you're afraid of so many things", the day my daughter broke the spell
[14:16] Why the IRS and the sovereignty movement carry the same vampiric energy
[18:27] What if you're not actually better than your mom?
[20:58] The villain crown practice and the power of holding "maybe"
[24:39] Why trusting your impulses matters more when money removes every constraint
[28:38] Surrender, the cosmic wink, and trading progress for presence
[33:33] Professional patients, functional medicine, and the loop that leads nowhere
