Tall Shadows Preview Recap
Show notes
Our event was a complete success thanks to the support of Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, the Trailhead Cafe and the Saskatchewan Running Community. Runners braved the cold and the wind gusts of 90km/h so they could get a glimpse of the 20km course. We think this event has the potential to be something really special!
For those who like cross country skiing the park has recently expanded a trail from the boat launch all the way to the Nicolle Homestead (probably around 15 km one way) which will be maintained for cross country skiing this winter. So if you are looking for a nice way to cross train and hang out with friends you should grab your skis, do the trail and stop at the Trailhead Cafe for some snacks and coffee. Once it snows of course

Canada Goose 2026- Meet Your New Race Directors
Show notes
It’s only a couple weeks away! Canada Goose 2026. A 6, 12 or 24 hour event where people run 4 kilometre loops around Wascana Park sounds like an awful way to spend a day but it’s actually a bloody good time! The community real comes together and makes this feel like an all day fun fest where people suffer together and see familiar faces the whole time. This year Jackie Myers and Melissa Burns will be running the show and in this episode we get to know them and their reasons for becoming the race directors of this iconic Regina running event and what you can expect on race day.
